Shadow dropped down to the ground as Maxine swung her dagger at him. It was at this point that Shadow realised how little he had used his sword in the past few hundred years. From there he rolled ro the right and got to his feet. Once on his feet he turned and put little force behind a diagonal downward swing.

Maxine laughed and jumped in the air missing the blade by mere seconds. She then got closer to Shadow and levitated his lighter out of his pocket this time quick enough to levitate it to a bench away from him while swinging at him, "You didn't say I couldn't use my levitation techniques."
She laughed sweetly.

Shadow was caught completly off gaurd when he felt his lighter leave his pocket. It broke his focus for a moment. By the time he regained it Maxine was basicaly on top of him with a flurry of swings. Shadow staggered back a few steps trying to deflect the blows as best he could, bearely managing most of the time. "Damn, your right. I only cripppled myself by saying I wouldn't go all out." Shadow joked.

"Trust me, I am not going all out, yet." she laughed again and swung at him from both sides with both daggers.

Shadow realised that he had been forced to stay on the defensive. Constantly backing up and deflecting wasn't the best stratagy but he had been forced into this. Getting out of it was a difficult thing. When he noticed the the next incomming blows he knew he could only deflect one of them, so he did. He managed to deflect one dagger with his sword but felt the other lodge itself in his shoulder. At that point he dropped his sword. "Victory is yours..." he said as he felt a stinging sensation in his shoulder.

"I...wasn't meaning to actually...hurt you." she said sheathing one of her daggers then slowly sitting on the ground next to him. She slowly pulled her other dagger out of his arm trying not to hurt him too bad.

"Thats alright, I have had much worse. Besides, I am not human, this will heal in no time at all." Shadow said as he felt the dagger get removed from his shoulder. He felt strange for a moment as the wound sealed itself. "No worries, see all fixed." Shadow said with a smile.

Maxine sighed, "I wasn't expecting to win that easily. I want a rematch sometime soon. And this time both of us having the same type of weapon. I believe I can hangle a sword just as good as my daggers."

"I am sorry, facign off against two daggers is not easy. Especialy when your focus gets broken by your lighter flying off. Once I was forced onto the defensive you had won but I am up for a rematch sometime and next time I will be better prepaired." Shadow said as he stood. It seemd to him that he would need to put more time into his swordsmanship than his necromancy for now.

"Now do the Victors' terms still get to stay in play even though i want a rematch?" she laughed teasingly. She cleaned her dagger and sheathed it quickly. She stood and took another step towards him for a second. But when doing so she tripped over a rock and fell towards him landing on him.

Shadow caught Maxine as she fell. "The victors terms still apply, I lost to you in a fair fight. I am at your command." Shadow said followed by a small laugh. "Are you alright?"

Maxine laughed, "I think I should be asking you that, I landed on you."
She then blushed some when she tried to get up and a button on her blothing got caught on his own clothes.

"I am sturdier than I look. It takes alot to do me harm" Shadow said with a smile and a laugh. When he saw that Maxine was having trouble getting up because of caught clothing he tried to assit by uncatching the caught iteam. "Atleast you managed to land on something softer than the ground."

Maxine laughed and blushed at him saying 'landing on something softer than the ground'. She watched him slowly and stopped laughing for a second. Her eyes wandered on his face forgetting she still there on him.

Shadow finaly managed to uncatch the caught clothing and then looked to Maxine, he thought she looked slightly differant in this light and this was the first time he had gotten the chance to examine her features up close. "Comfortable?" He asked with a smile then laughed lightly.
