"I think so." Billy replies. He's sort of annoyed at Corri, because Cor's been basically ignoring him, and then he walks in acting like he's been there all along.

Corrigan starts making a huge supper, which is so totally more than they can eat (but will make good leftovers if he isn't by to cook again in a day or so), and he makes some vegan muffins soon. He's enjoying it more than normal, because he hadn't had to make vegan food in some time now...

Billy actually just stays where he was, trying to salvage the drawing he'd made of the plant.

Corrigan also cleans the kitchen while stuff is cooking. Once everything's done, he puts the muffins out to cool, serves the food, and brings it into the dining room... where they don't usually eat because it seems so formal, but whatever.

Just as Corri comes in, Billy gets frustrated and rips out the page he'd been drawing. He crumples it up and throws it on the ground. "Everything I've drawn for weeks has been s**t."

Billy sets his sketchpad down on another chair and shoots the plant a dirty look. "I'm not kidding. I've only been able to do the really simple stuff and I've got Jill helping me out with most of my designs right now. I think I lost my muse."

Corri looks down at his plate, that he'd been picking at, "That won't be necessary anymore... Look, I'm... really, really sorry I haven't been aroudn more. I'm sure this is a shitty reason, or something, but I didn't realize... I didn't realize how little time I'd spent at home, with you." He shakes his head a little, at himself, "I'm really sorry, and it won't happen again. I'll be around more, ok?"

"Mmhmm." Billy replies, totally not believing Corri. Because Corri had practically promised he wouldn't be away all the time, and so far, that promise has been broken.
