Elorin nodded not surprised "Yeah farmers don't earn a lot of money from selling their stuff so they need to work harder to get by, especially when we elves don't have a lot of farms. Though I think its just her future brother in law that runs the farm. Besides has anyone ever told you that too much free time is incredibly boring"

Felina hesitated "Well I guess thats true but I think I wouldn't have ever got bored if I was allowed more out of palace freedom before now because its great in the outside world. But a good balence is needed those farmers dont sound like they have any fun or holidays often if at all"

Satoshi smiled somewhat glad Gil got to see something new "It's a whole experience in itself being in Kunec let alone seeing that tournament and all the judes and being able to look down at all the clouds below you. It's just not an experience I would feel comfortable having again for quite a while" she added quietly.

Takeo snickered "To be honest I'm surprised you didn't go crazy up there, you really hate heights and its not like theres anywhere you can go to escape . Or maybe you can handle them a lot more than you think. I'm also curious as to how the altitude would have effected visitors"

Seph smirked looking over Itaka's shoulder while she spooned him from behind "Well hopefully you won't be disappointed with your presents. Now is it my turn to get a clue as to what sort of present I'll be receiving tomorrow. Oh and Alpha left us something before we left as did Hebal and Hayate. My guess is we'll get the rest of the goodies when everyone else gets back.

Amane cheered patting Hebal's ears back "Yay thanks guys though you'll have to help me out if theres any special clothes or customs I'll need to know about before the event. Wouldn't want to embarrass myself in front of the demons and make them mad"

Mu smiled and shook her head "No no you'll be fine. If you can manage being around my dad then you'll be fine with the other demons I think. As for how I got in here, not easily. Most people here are part of families that have been doing this for generations soyou really have to be a natural at something and manage to get in touch with the right people. Basically I got lucky... now want to go sit down somewhere either in my cabin or in a nice spot under the tent?" she offered.

Gil frowned "Well you'd be hard pressed to distract them since they spend shifts flying below the city but as far as I know they haven't had a gravity-based death in 50 years since they first implemented the system" he said having a drink "Though I suppose it would be a bit weird, makes it hard to track" he said

Oassu shrugged "The big teeth should be a big clue about whether it's dangerous or not since you knew for sure what they were for" he said debating what slice of cake to have next.

Itaka smirked "Well you'll just need to see though it's nice of them to have gotten us a present, I just got Alpha some alcohol, reckon he'll appreciate it though" he said focusing on stirring.

Zadina giggled "I'll study up on local customs of the temples then for when we get travelling or you can always ask my uncle when you go see him since he'd know best what the world is like" he said.

Felina shook her head "The creature had its mouth shut so its teeth weren't on show and those tentacles looked like vines which are really quite fun to swing from, especially when your a kid. Now come on guys I can't have been the only one to have done something silly as a kid" she sighed knowing she would never live the experience down.

Elorin smiled reaching over and patting Felina on the shoulder "Sure we all have occasionally done things if not as extreme as that. Falling alseep in so called important meetings and reports is probably my biggest problem not that its news to you since 90% of it is just words that take forever to reach the point"

"Must be awkward having a transport/tourist industry in Kunec when you have to work out where it is every day in your airship" Ranmaru guessed scratching his chin "Oh well it would be nice to see a gria every now and then but I doubt the gria are going to contact any ninjas"

Satoshi raised her eyebrow "You could have mentioned that to me while I was up in the air, would have been reassuring to know. But I guesss we had a lot going on with the tournament and all and you know that will eventually be shown here on a sphere if we're lucky."

Seph snickered gesturing to Itaka to fetch the bowls "Why does it baffle you so? Fire demons are mad up of big burning gas balls or something like that inside so anything that makes their insides burn more is like a little pick me up. They don't even need to drink at all truth be told unless its to maintain their bodies in human form. Can even leave their human form to get dehydrated and change back to recover a few days and go back to their normal human form self" she explained.

Mu smiled noticing the expression on Zadina and Amane's faces at the circus props "Go knock yourselves out with those. Just let me know about the trampoline before hand for safety reasons" she told them placing herself down on a randomly placed box at the side of the ring

Amane gasped searching around in surprise "You would let us on the trampoline? Thats really cool and I would be able to jump like mum for a while cause she's an amazing jumper without help and maybe I could try those swings up thre?"

Hebal shook her head "I would never get ill on sweet food be it pop corn, candy floss or triple chocolate cake. And maybe when your a little older you can try the swings Amane. Don't wanna risk you having a fall cause your not trained to use them like the performence" she decided urning a small aww sound from Amane.

Oassu groaned "It doesn't sound fun getting a painting done, don't we have sphere technology nowadays anyway?" he asked patting his stomach "Yeah I've had enough cake, don't want to make myself sick, thanks for the meal your majesty" he said politely to Elorin.

Gil chuckled returning the kiss "Well what is it you're drinking then?" he asked picking up her glass since she suggested it "And I suppose that's ok then though I'm hardly a show fighter, I understand some people make careers of just going around them tournaments" he said scratching his chin "Probably deprived some people of money on bets" he added the thought just striking him.

Itaka shrugged "Well they are fiery enough as is without any source of fuel, wouldn't think adding alcohol to that would help but sure must be awkward for demons adjusting to the ecology of the world but ah well, I suppose they made the choice to live here so must get some benefits out of it" he said.

Zadina frowned looking up at the trapeze "I don't think it's a good idea to try those out, what Miss Mu did looked really dangerous earlier didn't you think?" he asked wondering whether he should look inside the clown car.

Elorin paused scanning each of the cakes trying to pick out which one to save a piece of for Alusaadi "The meal isn't a bother though if I were you I would expect more of these cakes for tomorrow. They will keep and with this much left over it would be a waste to throw it out considering the effort that went into these in the kitchens. Those desserts would usually be shared amongst at least ten guests afterall" he warned noticing both Corella and Felina were finished.

Felina smiled idly rubbing Oassu's leg under the table "Sphere technology is very recent technology was was made in my lifetime. All the same its tradition to get yourself a nice portrait and I think an good artist can make you look rather dashing and would look good on the wall of our future house don't you think"

"Probably made a lot of money from people making bets on you though not as much as it could have been if you lost to someone. Still thats gambling for you. Some people win and some lose and some of them it will be their own stupid faults for betting before all the competitors arrived" Ranmaru pointed out.

Satoshi nodded looking at her glass "Thats awamori, thought you might like it. It's a kind of liqueur, smoother and stronger than sake so don't go drinking too much of it. And careers in any form of sport popular enough to have an arena you can make a good bit of money if you can work a crows. Sponsors and all that make it especially easy. Not a bad way for some quick cash"
