((sorry internet got disconnected for a bit, i am back.))
Maxine smiled and watched Sol and Shadow talking as if she weren't even there. She sighed and walked passed them and up toward the room they had made for her. She then began to comb her hair softly and then put it up in a braid. She sat down on her bed slowly and looked out the window of her room.

Shadow was in dire need to strech his legs now. He had been sitting down for so long that he felt them going into rigor. There was to much strange magic at effecting him that he did not like, to make it worse it was all put on him by accident. A missued word here or an under estimation of range and you can end up messed up. Shadow left the dinning room and wandered around the gardens. He hadn't taken the time recently to admire the beauty of the world around him and he quickly remembered why. While waljking around he got to thinking.

Maxine fell asleep for the day and didn't wake till the next night. When she woke her cravings got even stronger as she rose from the bed. She stood slowly and then walked down stairs.

Shadow had spent the day in his crypt but left it when the night came again. Once the doors where sealed he entered the mansion once more. He had spent the day reading the tomes he had collected in order to find a way to break the magic that had become a part of him but with little sucess. There was only one solution in his mind and it was a solution that he did not wish to take. Shadow started to walk down the main hall, his sword lightly hiting his leg as he walked.

Maxine sighed and quickly rushed passed Shadow and into the kitchen. She took out a thing blood from the fridge and poured it into a glass. Not caring if it was cold or not she began to drink it slowly.

Shadow saw Maxine rush past him. That caught his curiosity and he decided to follow her. he walked into the kitchen to see Maxine drinking cold blood, it wasn't a rare sight since Shadow had been know to drink the stuff cold when he got it himself. "You alright, Maxine?" He asked as he walked deeper into the kitchen.

Not really caring for the taste she downed as much of it as she could before responding to Shadow, "You didn't tell me the cravings would be this bad."
She frowned and licked the blood from her lips quickly.

Shadow shrugged, he didn't notice the cravings as much these days. He just ate when he needed to sinc ehe had lived with it for so long. "You have my apologies. Certain details can slip by one as old as myself. We have lived with it for a long time so we tend to not notice it as much. There is no need to worry though, as long as you feed regualarly it should calm down." Shadow said.

Freak Parade Zero Salfos "well good cause i have no where else to go really. i been trying to find a place for years and finally got word of this one. so can i stay here? i wont be a burden promise." he bowed Claire shrugged. "I don't know, I'm not exactly in charge of anything here..." She turned and walked into the house further. Calling back over her shoulder, she added, "I think there's someone named Shadow that you might be able to talk to, but I don't know where to find him. I'm going to get food, you talk to Tilly or something." Ottila watched Claire leave, then turned to Dax. Unable to think of anything else to say, she settled with a simple "...Hi!" "uhh hi do you know where shadow is ottila?" he shrugged while saying this. he was really hoping that he could stay here in this big manor it looked like they had everything.

She drank the last drop of her drink and waited for his answer.

"It is very hard to put it down to an exact time. Time means nothing when you are asleep after all. I came into being at roughly the same time as mankind was living in caves and wandering the world. I am a third generation ancient, very few know that my... species exists." Shadow explained. Trying to put a time down on his life was basicaly impossible even if he didn't factor in his years spent asleep. He had spent so logn fighting that time had no real meaning for him. "It has been over 300 years since I woke from my deathless sleep, 100 of those years I spent here. Defending it."

"Because it is the first home I have had in so long. The only kindness I have seen has been given to me here. I met my second and third wives here. I look at all those here as my family, we may not be blood relative or anything but they have done more for me than anyone else." Shadow explained. What he said was how he truely felt. This was his home now and that was important to him after what caused him to become an outcast from his clan.

"I guess I would have to start calling this home. I really don't have anywhere to go. Nor do I think I would survive on my own right now. Though only meeting you yesterday, I feel safe to say, you truly brought me to be what I am now. Yesterday I was a scared young woman with no place to go, now I think I can be much more. If you hadn't done what you did, I would probalby still be that scared woman looking for a place of hiding." Maxine explained softly.

Shadow smiled and nodded, "You are welcome to stay with us here for as long as you wish too. You no longer need to run and hide here you have friends and allies taht will help you no matter the cost. So if you need anything do not hesitate to ask." Shadow said with a warm smile, tryng to make Maxine feel as welcome as possible.
