I'm never going out in public. Ever.
Today I went to sign up for college. Only...I literally had a panic attack. It was because some kid who was only trying to help out asked if I was having any problems. When he approached me...Eheh. I literally broke down and puked....all over the nice floor.
So I totally nurfed my college. I can't go back unless I'm ready Mentally, To be social. I don't quite understand what's wrong with me, only that I can't talk to anybody without having a damn seizure. I mean...I'm fine when people I know are around me, but if I'm by myself I'm a mess.
Normally I don't talk about this stuff, but maybe you guys might have some advise about socializing in public? DX

Focus on one person, and then move on to the next. Don't think of all the people in there, but of the opportunities and possible friendships. Especially look for people with piercings, tattoos, mohawks, and lightsabers. Those kids will treat you good.

Though really there aren't any cheat codes for this sort of thing other than to get out there and put yourself outside of your comfort zone. Go with family the next time you try to sign up for college? I dragged my mom along to my orientation.
My dad and I both get panic attacks when in social situations. There's no getting around it. sweatdrop

Also, @Koji: What Neko said. People you'd normally consider weirdos tend to be nicer and more open-minded. I say you wear one of your ninja headbands next time and see who talks to you. xd
That's what I used to do when I was little--bring something like a toy or some drawing materials and then people who had similar interests as me would pick up on that.

Not in a creepy way, but just to get used to seeing faces you don't see everyday. Mabye one day some random person will catch your attention and your curiosity will win out against the puke. Or mabye someone will talk to you and they won't freak you out as much. Being out in the open, even if you don't start talking with people, is a good way to start. Can't say I know you well enough to offer good advice, but I hope one of our suggestions works for ya.
