Thard_Verad NO!~ Level Ball is NOT the same as a Nest Ball! Level Ball compares your Pokemon's level to the one you're trying to catch. You < Wild = normal Pokeball rate You > Wild = better rate You > 2x Wild = even better You > 4x Wild = best rate Nest Ball only looks at the wild Pokemon's level. Wild < 10 = best rate Wild < 20 = good rate Wild < 30 = so-so rate Wild > 30 = normal Pokeball rate. Ah. So for Lugia, in SoulSilver, you'd have to be lv. 180 to get the best rate? xD wow. Or at least higher leveled or level 90. Wow. So much for the Level Ball, Eh?

And this is why I was forced to use a Duskball on Lugia...

Likewise, I used up all of my Duskball's every time, and I finally caught it in the Heavyball.
Hey, Ginji, what's TBD mean? question

If only Lugia (Shadow Pokemon XD-001) were easier to check stats/nature for. Before saving the game, that is. Both of its special, XD-only moves can be pretty handy. Imagine the horror of a Calm-Minded Psycho Boost, or the frustration of having your top physical attacker switch into a Featherdance...
Er, anyway. When it comes to hard-to-catch pokemon like that, I generally fling anything and everything at it, hoping one will stick. I've only used three Master Balls ... ever. Ho-oh in Silver, Metagross in Colosseum, and Lugia in XD. Maybe I should use one for Mewtwo?

Any other good XD any Pokemon? I might be able to find a cheap copy now that it's been a long time since release. I only ever played the original. I so want another Shadow Pokemon game.

But I gave up cause I was lazy... heh heh.

I so want another Shadow Pokemon game. *Looks up the list on Serebii* I'm seeing a lot of Refresh, Charm, Helping Hand, Baton Pass, Heal Bell, Sing, and Morning Sun. Togepi with Tri Attack ... would actually make a really REALLY evil Togekiss (Serene Grace, anyone?) Zapdos with Metal Sound for some really nasty Thunderbolts (and Extrasensory for Ground-coverage) There are some strong pokemon available, but most of the special moves are somewhat limited. Though Salamence with Refresh could throw off Will-o-wispers.

TO THE BARGAIN BIN! Or something like that...
Dear idiots: GC games aren't worth $53 anymore... And they weren't worth that when the GC was at the height of its peak.

Haha, the cable. I would crack it out and play the XD game, but I'm to lazy to go find the gamecube. And I forgot where I put it.
Hey, Ginji! Did you, perhaps, forget that you can't hit a pokemon with a pokeball in a double battle if there are two enemy pokemon on the field?

Really? I don't think I've ever actually tried to catch a Pokemon during a double wild battle in game.

Ginji of Thunder Really? I don't think I've ever actually tried to catch a Pokemon during a double wild battle in game. Oh? Yeah, tried it at the woods in Sinnoh where you have to help the lady with the insanely long braided pony tail of sorts. It's like: "No! Unable to aim!" Or something like that. =P

I am an accomplished Mage and a teenage boy nearing adulthood. I think I can hit a Pokemon with a ball about the size of a baseball. Even if it is floating on the surface of the moon.
Anyways, I gotta go. Rewards: 300 PD and Moonstone.
