Chemosh of Krynn I propose a list of proper vampire books that surpass Twilight entirely... I'm even willing to accept Anne Rice books in this case... I vote 'Queen of the Damned', 'Tales of the Slayer' and other books from the Buffy The Vampire Slayer series, 'The Last Vampire' series by Christopher Pike,Guilty Pleasures, The Laughing Corpse,Circus of the Damned from the Anita Blake Series. If you're looking at non-vampire books, I vote that any book about Drow makes Twilight look pathetic. So does the entire Valdemar Series and pretty much any fantasy novel written by Mercedes Lackey. The Coldfire Trilogy leaves Twilight and all its sequels in the dust. Belgariad, Malloreon, and the books about Sparkhawk by David Eddings, the Abhorsen series.... Do I even have to go on? Basically I could name over 100 books that are better than Twilight.
