*Sits at the edge of the forest and leans against a tree deep in thought.Almost everything had been pieced together that he had known and needed to know.Painful memories came in the strongest,and as they came in at random he wondered at times why he had felt that.Soon the puzzle was finished however,except for one piece that was nagging at him.*

Why did I use that spell?Who could have taken my mind from me...Heswina?The girl?Nah..I doubt it...Then again,Why am I in my current state?I'm sure 9 will know something...until then however..sleep would be nice.

*With a slight frown he sat and fell asleep against the tree,his chest rising and falling gently as he silently breathed.More out of habit then need.*

(( eek I'm scared.....Very scared.))

*KB shudders a bit,for some reason he was having a nightmare about...Pudding?It quickly faded away however as he was brought back to the countless ages of corruption and torture.Still,the tools the foul creatures had used seemed to calm him.Oddly,the thought of pudding scared him more.Shrugging out of impulse he rolled over,still asleep.*

*Screams to himself on the inside,and reacts without thinking.As his eyes opened he found he was already climbing the tree.He seemed driven by something odd,the urge to see something.As he moved through the branches he kept looking up,his vision blocked by the leaves.Finally after what seemed like an eternity his head shot up through the screen and he saw what he had saw in his dream.The black endless night and all the stars,and the moon.For a moment he was shocked by the pure beauty of it.It was the greatest thing he had ever seen,his eyes glazed over as he fell into a trance.Slipping and losing his grip he fell backwards.In that one image he saw he had seen everything beautiful in his life.Quickly he fell to the ground,missing the branches luckilly and landing with a loud THUD.As he lay looking up he ignored the pain and the blood at the edge of his lips.*

*Without a sound a figure appears in the shadows of a tree near the fallen KB.With a smile he steps forward,revealing him to be a duplicate.As he slowly steps towards the body he leaves no footprints.Kneeling next to KB he leans over and licks the blood from his lips.Smiling again he stretches a bit,as if savouring the taste of his "own" blood.*

Mmmmm...Tastes so good....Well my dear...That was the last slice od pie for you..for us...for everyone.Now we eat mud my love...dirt and mud...6 ft under..or 20 if they do their job right.

*With a smile he stands and puts a hand out over the body.It was nearly impossible to tell the two apart.The body's eyes were still glazed over as the moving one summoned forth a blade that looked identical to that carried by the former member of the BC and his vampiric spawn.As he gripped the blade he turned to face a pillow that was standing a bit behind him,except one end where the seam should be was a large mouth full of jagged teeth.Pointing the sword at it his face went red with anger.*

You!You tried to keep me from him!You dared to!You'll die along with him..all in time however.For the moment he lives..you won't be having that priveledge.

((lol...alright,goodnight then.I guess I should tone it down..actually this is just the begginning.. sweatdrop ))

*The Image laughs loudly as the pillow jumps at him.It's gaping mouth seemed to lead to endless blackness.And it did,an unescapable blackness worse then the vortex or any abyss.The laugh is cut short however as he stabs the 7 ft sword into the pillow through it's "stomach" he then pushes pin it against the tree and laughs as it dies.Shrieking silently for it was only an image and not the real thing.As the pillow twitched it started to fade away.The sword faded away as well,and now a lady stood before him.She smiled,and was very good-looking.He smiled back and placed a loving kiss on her lips,then extended his claws while she wasn't looking.She hadn't time to defend herself before her throat was ripped out.His past lover's blood sprayed onto his face and he laughed harder.Her body crumpled then faded away,leaving only the blood. The image of KB suddenly snapped back to being serious.With a grin he sat next to his body and lovingly ran a finger along his cheek.Softly he whispered as he faded away."Don't worry my love...we'll be together shortly..it won't hurt..you know it won't." With that he was completely gone,leaving the real KB there to close his eyes and float off to sleep.His headwound would keep him from remembering anything.*

Irvine stood still. Thoughts raced through his mind. He considered the proposistion over and over. After having his sight restored for seconds made him think. After a long time of thinking, he finally nodded.

"Alright...I'll yield...at the cost of my sight, I'll yield. However, no this. There are somthings you cannot undo. Sight is one thing. Restoring my life and soul is another. Restoring my heart....I have no such thing. My time here will still be limited. There is nothing you can change there. However, my services will be at your disposal at any time you require them..."

Irvine let out a deep breath. He turned away from her, his eyes gazing into the darkness of the cave. Seeing nothing was almost enough to make him think he was seeing somthing.

"One more thing...I know how your trying to seduce all the men in the BC. Targeting their faults...you chose well on mine...my vendetta and lust for power is far greater than any sensual lust, so you knew you couldn't buy me off with sex....I know I will be under your power once I yield...I know I will probably do several things I might perhaps regret later on...however somthing is puzzling. You've seduced all the most powerful men in the BC. Not only that but you have Xol...what for? You have some of the most powerful fighters, and you want me to kill the strongest of them. That I don't mind. What I do mind is why you have them. Care to tell? Or is such information only for the privlaged...being yourself?"

(Eh, sorry Heswina. I actually fell asleep beside the computer on the couch. sweatdrop Sorry for replying so late. As for the whip and chains...well...I'm not complainin' yet... wink )

"Yes, I will manipulate you to do what ever it is I choose. You will have little say in the matter once my magics have locked into your mind, so enjoy yourself." Stepping up behind Irvine, her arms sliding under his and wrapping around his stomach. "That is what I love about people like you, Irvine. They think that their heart is destroyed and they can no lone feel...that simply helps my magic work faster and harder. Keep thinking that, if you want, but know this...even if your body is to die, your heart will remain mine." Pressing her cheek to his back she held him, almost like a lovers embrace. Something opened inside Irvine's mind, it started as a small trickel at first. Then it grew into a raging flood. This strange feeling, this soothing flood of magics, was Heswina. She was already filling every knook of Irvine's mind with her own. When his mind felt like it was full of water it began to subside, but not remove, itself. It compacted itself into a tiny ball somewhere deep, deep, inside his mind. The ball split and turned into fibers, the fibers wound against and around one another until they were a web. The web lashed out, locking undetectable fibers into every portion of his mind. All the while Heswina was holding Irvine, comforting him in a way, "It's ok...it's over..." Something sparked to life inside Irvine, it was a faint sparkle and was thus too hard to pin point, but something was awake! Foreign thoughts and emotions filled his body as she withdrew from his mind. The link was open, he had yeilded, there was no point in using her energy to keep it open. "There's a trick...if you wish to keep your emotions your own, if you're ever doing something......private." She slid her arms off Irvine and took a few steps back, "Inside your mind there is a tiny knot of emotions, thoughts, and magic. That's me...you can temporarily shroud your emotions from me if you wish, but not matter what I will always able to read you. Simply imagin a peice of cloth around that knot, and your emotions will be gone from my bodies." Drawing a small dagger, in an attempt to show Irvine what she was talking about, she pressed the edge of the dagger against her palm. A small trickle of blood ran down the length of the blade and a small pressure began to build itself into pain in Irvine's hand. She waited a moment, let the example set in, then she masked her emotions from him. He still knew she was hurting in her hand, but he could no longer feel the pain. "As for my plans..." Flicking the dagger towards the ground, she sent a tiny splat of blood against the floor, "...they are mine alone, maybe I'll tell you...maybe." A pillar of light formed around Heswina's body as she shifted forms into the tiny blue diamond that rode the light through roof of the cave and through the air. She left Irvine to think, think about what he had commited himself too and what powers could belong to him with the temptress feeding him.
