Heh... right. I'm actually surprised they didn't breed them out of us altogether. They don't really serve a purpose anymore... honestly they just get in the way during training.

*Luke lets out a high-pitched laugh at Cora's antics.* Don't scream that too loud, Slim. People might get the wrong idea and take out their camera phones.
*Luke and Cora return to the bar, where the party is still going pretty strong. Luke has a couple more drinks with Chuck, while Cora gets her dance on with Max. Max, who dances closely with Cora, would have tried a whole hell of a lot more, if Luke hadn't made it so abundantly clear that she was off limits. Though Max doesn't like it ... reluctantly he respects the mandate his a*****e roommate laid down.*
*At 2:30 a.m. they have last call. Max and Cora came back from the dance floor to have one more beer with Luke and Chuck. Slowly, people start to go home and the bar clears out.*
*Max, Cora, Luke, and Chuck are the last to leave.*
*On the way home, Luke holds up Chuck. Though Max is loving walking Cora back, he aids Luke in helping the Junior Editor to his feet.*
*Chuck is still blabbering.* "Oh, man. Ooooh, man. Haha haa ha... I love you guys. I LOVE YOU GUYS!"
*Luke shakes his head.* "Oh, here we go."
*Max picks up Chuck's other arm and commisserates.* "Here comes the love train." *says to Chuck* "You ******** homo."
*Chuck is still going on.* "Oh, man. I think I'm getting ******** .... what's it called? That thing where you've been somewhere before...."
*Luke smirks.* "He's WASTED."
*Chuck skids a little, but Max catches him.* "I LOVE YOU GUYS! I LOVE PHILADELPHIA! I LOVE THE CROWN!!" *He turns and sees Cora through red-rimmed, tearing eyes.* "I LOVE YOU, CORA!"

*Max raises his head.* "An accomplishment?"
*Chuck's mouth parts open in shock.*
*Luke laughs, and all Chuck says is.* "I'm the Lord of the Drink."
*Max shakes his head.* "You're the Lord of the Assholes."
*Luke smirks a little at that.*
*Chuck is shaking his head.* "Aw man.... Aw man..."
*This is the second person Luke's had to walk home, and he's feeling pretty damn sober. Not to mention good about himself, for being such a saint.*
*Luke and Max cart Chuck back to their apartment building with Cora. They get him inside and Max and Luke sets him down on his mattress.* "Sweet dreams, man," Luke says.
*Chuck jolts up in a moment of sobriety.* "Deja vu."
"What?"
"It's called Deja Vu. When you're someplace.... you've been before."
*With that, Chuck falls fast asleep. Max stares down at Chuck sleeping while Luke starts to walk out of the room.... Luke turns and stares back at Max.* "What?" Luke asks.

*Moments later, Cora, Luke, and Max are all hunched over Chuck. Max laughs boorishly as he draws graphic works of art across Chuck's face and forehead with a black Sharpie from Chuck's desk.*

:::Cora is standing over Chuck... at first she was concerned about the chemical content of the marker, but after it was explained to her that this was a tried and true tradition, she resigned to just watching.
Lately, she'd been musing over what in the world Max was drawing next to Chuck's mouth.... was it her imagination or was that...:::

*Luke laughs as Max looks over at her, smirking. Luke nods to Max.* "She's got a good eye."
*Max would have made many, many more comments to that if Luke hadn't been standing there.* "She knows 'em when she sees 'em."
*When they are finished, they stand back to survey their work of art.*
*Across Chuck's forehead is written the words "I EAT c**k". Above that in smaller print is "Literary Genius". Surrounding Chuck's face are various drawings of male anatomy.*
"I'd take a picture," Luke says. "But he just ... looks so peaceful like that."
*Max adds.* "They'll be time in the morning. That s**t ain't comin' off for days." *They knocked knuckles at that.*

*Max snickered in return and hugged his arm around her shoulder. Max stares down at her, looking her up and down ... *
*Luke catches the look and Max catches Luke's eye. Max's shoulders fall. C'mon man.*
*Luke raises his eyebrows. No way in hell you are sleeping with my cousin.*
*After that, they go to change into their pajamas and get to bed. After changing, Luke walks into the bathroom to take a leak, leaving Cora outside of their rooms.*

:::Cora's changed into a pajama tank and an actual girl pair of flannel pants, thanks to Aimee's eye for her lack of luggage, and the suggestion that she should buy something to sleep in while they were shopping:::
:::She walks down the hall towards Luke's room where she intends to sleep, and realizes that the Brink normally didn't let her stay this long... and it was quite possible that she'd be gone by morning. The thought made her feel a lot of things all at once. At the forefront of her mind was to put on her utility belt and keep the metal flap that was her compressed suit somewhere on her person at all times just in case... but also, she had yet to say goodbye.:::
:::Instead of going to Luke's room, she approached the door to Max's. She paused outside of it, and after a moment decided to knock:::
