It's in the Rulebook, in the Eldar section.

So, I've discovered that Wave Serpents make an effective transport, especially for dropping the less-tough units onto the enemy deployment zone by turn 2, and hunting light vehicles.

I was thinking through the same sort of tactic. Really, Fire Dragons make great hunters for tanks, but make even better on hunting down squads of elite infantry. That much Melta at any kind of squad at good BS will make things suffer.

Until now, I've been taking advantage of Eldar assault strength and the fury with which they can lay down fire; I'm starting to switch tactics more towards the fast-and-hard that Eldar have such capacity for.

Has anyone else noticed that the Wave Serpent's Energy Field tends to make it worth more than a Falcon? The one game I used both, the Falcon got explosively shot down the first turn, and the Serpent barreled through everything a squad of Crisis suits could throw at it with no damage.

It comes down to the kind of luck you get. I'd like to see you run Falcons again (against me, at least) and see if you end up with some better rolls. That Pulse Laser would have ended my Broadsides and given you a hell of a lot more lee-way in that fight if you had hit a little better. That said, nothing can roll a 3 to Penetrate on the front armor of a Wave Serpent. If you wanted a line of fast, armor eating tanks, you could go for Wave Serpents with Bright Lances.

Actually, nothing can do better than a 4 to glance, 5 to penetrate, which to my mind is a tremendous advantage.

This advantage is lost on humble missile launchers, though... and krak grenades, too. Still toughest bird in Eldar codex smile

Putting two Phoenix Lords on the field is insanely points-heavy. I'd drop at -least- one if not both, and put some more Avengers on the field, or boost up your Elites, and think about getting a Warwalker or two with shuriken cannons; they put out a lot of fire for their 40 points.

Warwalkers, I see why you love them. We had a 500 point game, illegal, an Eldar player used only Warwalkers, 500 points of them. I was using space marines, one of my hit and run lists. I managed to get about half way across the board before they'd taken out about 50% of my forces, I did get in combat with them with a termie with a thunder hammer, and two Vanguard with a power fist and power weap, I killed about four of them, then died, horribly.

for pure firepower, nothing beats war walkers, 7 shots with high strength below 60 points... - or 3 high ap shots if you want it at not much higher price

The points from the bikes would barely get you enough points to make any kind of decent DA squad, and taking out the two lords would be about 4 times the points you need for a good Autarch; that gives you about 250 points or more to put into infantry.
