"I do want to talk to Eliza, actually." Faust said. "I've had enough of being out cold for today. I'll come quietly."

Yoh answered the door, looking bedraggled. "All right... give me a second..." Yoh said, taking in the demon, Netsubo, and Faust in his moth-eaten old suit that was also covered in dirt from the grave. "Um... I think I know you, Faust, but I'm going to need to get used to the hair. Were you drunk or something? And, Netsubo, right? And.... Faust?"
"No. I'm the Prince of Darkness, General of the Army of the Damned..."
"I need to see Anna," Faust said.

"Yes, it's me, Hans," Eliza said. "Your hair is white, like an old man's. What happened?"
"I was buried alive. But, what about you? How are you, Eliza?"
"I'm all right. Being dead isn't so bad, Hans."
"I know who killed you," Faust said. "I know who... hurt you, and I won't be able to rest until he's been hurt and killed, too."

"If you love me, you won't die. You won't go looking for danger. Promise?"
"I promise I won't die, yet," Faust said solemnly, crossing his heart with Eliza's finger.
