HOLY POO!! eek I cannot believe that happened! What the hell is happening here? I think it's a case of Bush wanting to win by intimidation. Or some Bush lover out there got all psycho about it and wanted to "Make her see the light of the almighty powerful savior that is G.W. Bush". This election is making me sick.

I am sooo beyond not trusting the legal system in this country anymore. Whatever happened to freedom of speech. Peoples constitutional rights are being walked all over and they have new laws that help them do it. Look at the Patriot act. Did you know a cop can come in your home without permission and arrest you without a warrant. That is a violation of your constitutional rights. But, The courts have used the Patriot act to get away with it. I am also going thru a legal battle that has been going on for 8 months... State keeps putting it off cause they have no evidence. But, they make money keeping us on a chain. I am on the verge of loosing my home but, they don't care. Our Lawyer said that the state is trying to break us because we are willing to fight for our rights. They have the money to drag it out. Even if it destroys my family. I also look at what Uni is going thru... Our legal system is supposed to take care of her and her kid's and look how many times they have screwed up her case. Sorry for ranting... But, after reading that link and everything I am going thru. God the stress! I hope everyone is doing well. I have not posted much lately. Just been lurking. I am going to call it a night. I have stayed up really late the last few nights and I think I am getting sick. Need rest! Take care all...

I remember about a year ago, in the aftermath of the school shootings, when a kid was expelled from a school here because in his diary he listed people he was going to 'pay back'. It was really sad- this boy was a typical victim of bullying, bright and talented- but overweight and not popular. His diary detailed terrible things like having his pants pulled down in the hall and followed home while having sand thrown all over him.... so he listed these names and he was thrown out of school. The bullies had no repurcussions. His diary was handed in by a schoolmate, who stole it from him but also had no repurcussions. Anyway- sometimes it seems to me that government organisations scapegoat individuals and groups to hide their inefficiency on a larger scale. Since when did utilising your right to free speech make you a threat? *sigh*

Since when did utilising your right to free speech make you a threat? *sigh* They threatened to kick me out of school, because someone told them I listened to heavy metal and that my favorite band at the time was Rammstein (since have moved on to other bands). They wanted me to speak with the counsler. I told them, in a much nicer fashion then this, that if they even attempted something like that, I'd have them sued so fast their heads would spin.

*glomps Gindion* WE LOVE Rammestein!! My husband translates some of the songs for me at times. My son loves it!
yeah, that link is really ******** up and I'm not accusing anyone of lying, etc. But I'm waiting till the media picks up on it, which they will because it's happened before to a cop. If she has a lawyer, a good one, he'll tell her to take it to the media. <******** Patriot Act.

I haven't listened to them in a long while, as I've been on a 80s kick, but I'll always be a metal fan. My fiance isn't too big on Rammstein, but he likes Drowning Pool and Disturbed, so at least we have something we can both listen to. An odd 80s/metal fact...my mom heard my brother listening to The Darkness' "I believe in a thing called love" and told him to "turn off that Whitesnake." xd

..... to me.. the fact they keep making new laws that undermine the constitution and allow them to get around it... what may i ask then is the point of having it? what is the point of having a set of laws that provide checks nad balances when the government doesn't abide by them theirselves? God... i hate this country... if i could afford it, i'd move away. I'd like go to australia or something. that seems to be one of the most level, english speaking countries.
i swear... it's getting really eerie how over time this country starts to resemble more and more the state of germany just before the nazis took over... sad gonk sweatdrop
