"I have the most loving, beautiful, understanding wife in the world...okay I said it, honey, you can stop poking me now, all right?"And sure enough, the object of his abject hatred came floating by no sooner than he had thought about how much he wanted to kill it for the people that he loved. Ducking behind a corner outside of an abandoned building, Kakyo let it pass by without incident but dropped a bit of change out of the hole in his pocket as he did so. Cursing, he knew he didn't have time to stop and get it...that damned Septentrione seemed to be everywhere at once and if he wasn't on his toes, it could finally get the drop on him and put an end to his pursuit of its death. That, he couldn't allow.

Eiji "Gin" Mishima  "Kudlak, huh? Lets do this!" There were several powerful demons coming out of the woodworks now, but Kudlak was an especially devious one. It wasn't strong in the traditional sense, but it's cunning was far greater than a traditional demon's ,and in some cases it had a truly unique way of surviving even the deadliest of demons. Gin could defeat it, but he had to be careful how he handled the situation...could his demons hold back enough? "Lets finish this in one go, guys." Gin pointed towards Kudlak, and then ran a finger across his throat, signalling that when he got to Kudlak he would also...run a finger...across Kudlak's throat. What? Did it have some other meaning?  Nix Gallen Nix was on her way back to base with IT appeared. 'Benny' as everyone decided to call it. The Septentrione fired a deadly laser in her direction, an ability she recalled belonging to a previous creature. The silverette jumped out of the way, just in the nick of time. But some debris fell on her from the blast. "That was close.. but that really hurt." Nix muttered as she crawled out from under the loose rubble. Shiva, keep an eye out for Benetnasch. I'll get to work trying to figure out what this Terminal is for," the Boss commanded his devils as a swarm of the demons approached, wasting no time in putting what knowledge he had gathered about Rina's programming and discoveries about the Terminal to use in trying to determine exactly what this one was used for. It was all basically Greek to him, but at the very least, he could recognize a few key symbols...and hopefully, that would tell him exactly what he needed. Was this Trumpeter? If so, anything else on the terminal that he could decipher could be an invaluable clue.
His fingers ran over the side and he opened his phone to try and interface with it; just one clue, that was all he would need. Uh...that's our Terminal!" a voice called from nearby as Kakyo looked over the terminal, but one look from his stern face was enough to make the high school senior blanch where he stood...wilting back away for a moment before he recovered his confidence and spoke again, "We need that! It's the terminal to summon Trumpeter...and we need to use it so that he'll help us defeat Benetnasch!" Kakyo smiled at hearing that this was indeed what he was looking for. Turning towards the leader of his former faction, he stood and nodded briskly, calling back his devils to stand by his side as he addressed him. "Hey, uh..aren't you Kakyo...Kaido? Hinako brought you to join us last night, but then you went back to Oshu...are you here to join back up?"
"No, sorry about that. Got to follow my gut on this one. I'm here to ask a question..."

Eiji "Gin" Mishima "And now his rival Kresnik, eh? This one should be simpler to handle." In traditional mythology, Kudlak was like a vampire, but it was a representation of an altogether evil force that was seemingly immortal. His other side was Kresnik, which was portrayed as a man or on occasion a vampire hunter, and it's role was to balance out Kudlak and provide the good to counter the evil stemming from the first demon. That being that, it was obvious why he'd turned up here shortly after Gin defeated Kudlak, but he didn't have the nifty tricks to preserve his life in the same way Kudlak did. That wasn't what he had been hoping to hear, but knowing there was consistency across the different terminals in the different cities was something that he could use as a reference point when trying to find an anomaly that would allow them to win over the Trumpeter when the time came. Maybe if something was different, something in the design or an incantation or simply the way it responded to questioning would provide a hint at which one, or where, or how they could win it over to serving their ends instead of its own?
He considered as much as he moved back towards the teleporter that had brought him here, resolved to head on to the next city just as soon as he got there. Inaba wasn't a bad place, really...backwoods, but beautiful and peaceful save for the end of the world. Dashing down the street as it caromed between buildings and in his direction he wasted no time in sliding over a car in his path and catching his nearly-dropped feather just when he came into sight of the Terminal. His other hand flipped open his cell phone, unable to stop in this mad dash but needing to punch in the keys to get to the next city. And he had to remember the keys. ...He punched in the Send tab and reached the Terminal just as the attack from his pursuer launched...and flashing from one city to the next, he was safe from destruction by a hair. It was an old habit of his to stay ready to sing when on the stage, but it also helped him to calm his nerves a bit or to do something as simple as entertaining himself when he was bored. The contents were a bit racey, but then it was in English, so not too many people would pick it immediately. "Stacy can I come over, after school? We can hang out near the poool~. He was using his weakest demon to give it some training, but it was still proving an easy fight for Gin and his team, though their leader's level helped htem to conduct a safe training session, so it wasn't entirely out of the blue. There wasn't much of it left with the coming of the Void, but what was left was under near relentless assault from the creatures. As a result, he had to do his best for all those he loved. Including his totally not a crush on Yukiko's mom wut. "Video killed the radiioo star~. Pictures came and broke your heart..."
