Amnity turned to face him, then gave him a quick kiss on the lips. "Soon." She paused for a second, then smiled. "Well...If we manage not to kill each other before the wedding, anyway."

Mephlius thought about it for a moment. "Err... if we manage not to die before the wedding." He corrected. "Believe it or not... there are more dangerous things than you in this world, Am..."

Amnity suddenly looked at him seriously. "Mephlius...You are not allowed to die before the wedding, understand?...Rather, you're not allowed to die at all." She was, of course, kidding around. Then she laughed. "I don't want to walk up the aisle and not see you standing on the other end."

She was, of course, kidding around. Then she laughed. "I don't want to walk up the aisle and not see you standing on the other end."
