Nina held her hand in front of her eyes as the wind blew into her face. "Holly cow, the name is so true." She said, having not been to this place before. "Elric, find where the entrance is so we can put the map away before the wind rips it apart." Fara shouted over the wind.

"Put it away, I'll have to memorize it!" He yelled out to Nina. Things would get better once they got of all the wind and turbulence. "We have to get into the heart of the winds, things will be much more bearable there." That being said, he began to push against the winds. "How does anyone live on this island?!" Thought Benjamin outwardly.

"Right" Nina yelled, rolling the map up and putting it away. As they started into the valley. "They live in the places with less wind." Nina yelled. As the winds got stronger Nina reached into her bag and pulled out her folded scythe. "Stand back!" She yelled as it unfolded. With a wide swing she stuck it into the ground and held on. "Every one, grab on before the wind takes us." She yelled.

The winds began to pick up speed, the ground beneath them was firm, but began to crack underneath them. Until it finally crack around them. It too was lifted into the air, the scythe still spiked into the ground, giving the a floating platform of sorts to stand on as they were spun into the air. "Hang on!" Two hours later..."Man, my everything hurts right now." Muttered Benjamin, only moments ago had he woken up after that little ride in the air. It was a good thing he landed on something soft, by that being Elric. "Your everything hurts? You don't have someone on your back, get off me!" Not even giving him a chance, Elric pushed Benjamin off of him.

Fara was stuck in a tree when she woke up, luckily the tree had joined them during their trip through the air and was laying on its side. Nina was stuck under the tree, her armor keeping her from getting crushed. "At least you've got a person." Nina said as she struggled some. "I've got a tree on my back. Has any one seen my scythe?" She called. Fara let out a groan and pointed to a hill, her scythe embedded into the top.

Elric was dusting himself off and helped Benjamin to his feet when he turned to Nina. "Eca was no kidding with that armor, no wonder you were well protected in Mina." After getting Fara out the tree, the boys slowly lifted the tree high enough for Nina to slip out.

Nina nodded and held her arms out. Fara helped by grabbing Ninas hands and dragging her out. Nina took a few deep breaths. "Yeah, and to just keeps protecting me." She smiled. "So, what do you think caused all that wind? Or is that normal?" She asked, looking to Elric.

"No way that's normal. The winds are strong, but not violent." Strained Elric, lower the tree down. "My guess is the environment issues with the crystal not being in it's temple. At least I think it carried us to our destination." He thumbed to a cave formation behind him.

"Well, you can figure that out." Nina said giving him the map. "I need to get my scythe." Nina headed for the hill. As she climbed up the winds picked up and started to blow her back down. Nina leaned herself forward and grabbed the ground and crawled her way up the hill.

Elric shrugged. "Well alright then." That said, he turned around and headed into the cave by himself. He should be fine, the group has yet to encounter one of these Lurkers... Benjamin began to snicker at Nina's fustrations and turned to his sister. "How long you think she's going to try before she asks for our help?"

"I give her one tumble down the hill." Fara said with a snicker. "And when we help her, we let her tumble at least once." Fara smiled like a child with a secret as she watched the wind try to blow Nina down the hill.

"Agreed..." Replied Benjamin. He waited and watched Nina tumble as many times as she had to before she asked for their assistance...only to tumble again of course. That was quite amusing. Suddenly, the sound of metal clanking could be heard coming though the dark cave. Then out flew Elric, swords in hand. "Elric! You alright?" Asked' Benjamin. "Lurkers, urgh...and a chick..." He groaned.

Nina tumbled down one last time and landed on Elric. "Wh-what?" She asked, having caught the last part of his statement. She looked to the cave as glowing red eyes appeared and soon several dark beasts lumbered out, black crystals jutting from their backs. Nina quickly stood up and drew the katana from her bag.

In the midst of the dark four legged beasts stood a woman with dark violet hair. Her eyes were as crimson as the lurkers. She was bit younger than Nina, but it made her no less intimidating. Strapped to her side was a rapier with a revolver mechanic built into it. In her hands, the Duon World Crystal. They were too late, this new girl had gotten to it first. "Looking for this? I'm sorry, but I'll be keeping it." "You're one freaky chick, just who are you?" Asked Elric, he lifted Nina off of him and picked up his swords. "Hmm, how about you just call me Revenir?" She said to him in a sultry tone of voice. If anything, it was downright creepy to Elric. "Ew, how about I mail you a nice card, you give us the crystal and we call this even?" "It's tempting, but no. A diamond's a girl's best friend you know, you're a close second." "Ew, again just ew." Elric shivered and turned to Nina. "Please, do something about this chick."

Nina nodded and readied her sword. "If you're not going to give it up, then how about we fight for it." She said, motioning to the girls sword. "unless that thing is just for show." She smiled, gripping the sword. Her sword let out a small crackle as electricity flowed through it, as if it was sensing her excitement.
