"Oh! W-well, um, okay then!" She seemed happy at this particular knowledge, and giggled when the hat was put onto her head. A free hand moved up to fix it on her head so she could see him better.
"Oh! You're talking! That's it." She sounded like she understood everything in the world then. "I...I've been practicing the hand talking thing!" So why was he talking when he didn't need to?! Aaaaa...at least she was understanding him a little better now, but it was hard, and she mostly stared at him when he did talk to try and process it.
"...A dance? Okay! We can do that!" She just wanted to dance with Christof, really. Didn't matter what.

The dragon looked towards Mal with a grin and with a peculiar look in his golden eyes. He stared at the two specifically as he said something.
"Perhaps.. but not all treasure shines."
He paused and chuckled there, "But it is a bonus for sure."
Noticing her crown slip, Jericho brought up a hand to nudge it back into place.

Vaith realized, it was nearly (or it was!) the last song of the night--- Everyone else was dancing. He realized, very blankly, he had yet to ask his date for a dance. After he had been forced to muster up so much just to ask her to be his date, asking her for a dance wasn't that bad, right? Introductions were made to yet another occupant of Amityville Academy, Vaith's head spinning with people he had met. He wasn't sure if he'd remember them all but he .. would try. Half-heartedly. He zig-zagged through the crowd with purposeful intent, his legs taking long but lazy strides to meet his destination.
" .. Xiu, would you like to dance?" He asked, his voice lowering, his hand extended out to offer for hers. For the first time during the night, Vaith wasn't as awkward. Perhaps, you could even term him as "smooth," his frown turning upwards into .. Was that a smile? If one had to go by math, Vaith's smile was at a ten percent smiling rate, ten percent more than he had ever done before.

"Oh, sure. You know, lots of food. And people. People that definitely aren't food." Was she salivating a little? Surely not. "And it was so nice of Riley to help us get, erm. Dates, ah ha ha. I'm new here so I don't really know anybrudy- body -yet.""Are you ah, having a good time?" She leaned a little against the table. Talking wasn't nearly as bad as dancing, and the more she talked, the less apprehensive she became. Cady was finally starting to feel a little normal.

Barth could admit that the song that came on was on the less than platonic side. Still. Calder had rescued the first N.A.P. meeting and then salvaged the booth, while his other staff members had...been predictably less than active. Or busy shooting up his club members.
"I thought I owed my Chief Greeter at least one dance," Barth said, taking Calder's hand and positioning himself for a relaxed waltz. He was certainly taking the lead in the realm of pacing.
"A little late in the evening though, sorry." Barth had been...distracted.

"Really? Well, she's already dropped some hints..." Moure said, thinking back to all of the gluttony demoness's comments and actions. Those were mostly...flirting, weren't they...? This explained SO MUCH. Moure finally realized Claire probably had been trying to tell him all this time....
Moure wasn't sure what to make of Danny's choice of head-rests, but allowed it anyway.
Moure looked down at Danny, a bit surprised as she spoke her advice, considering it was actually...really, really good advice. Weird. He gave a nod and a slight smile. "Thanks for that Danny. I'll have to give it a try. Maybe, anyway..."
"We'll have to see. To tell you the truth, I think I can be kind of oblivious with this kind of thing." Thank you for pointing out the obvious, Moure. "I doubt she'd do anything mean, really...But thank you for the offer." He gave a slight laugh, imagining Danny trying to help him out by kicking people.
Moure made a mock upset face, "But it matches my suit! You'd seperate it from the rest of it's uniform?" He gave a fake sigh, then spoke again with a slight laugh. "Alright alright. You can keep that hat until I need it back, deal? But if I need it back, you know...if I have to go home or something..." Moure's face fell slightly as he mentioned going home. Going home most likely meant never coming back out.
Moure looked up, trying to throw off his fallen expression for one of curiousity. "A sleepover...?" He asked, looking at her with a quizzical expression. "I can totally go for the Scario Kart gaming, and whatever this Left 4 Live is, and all the video-gaming..." He paused, trying to think of how to say this. "...You realize I'm a boil, right...? Even then, I don't think I'll be too useful on the advice-giving front. And I don't think I can paint nails well." He paused again, then finally nodded. "But if that's what it'll take to make up for this, that's fine with me. You already know where my room is, so just come over sometime, and we can have this 'sleepover' of yours." This really was going to be an odd night, whenever they had this weird sleepover. Oh well, if it's what Danny wanted, he'd go along with it.

"An excellent point." Malodore tilted its head at Jericho, bringing up its free hand to catch its own crown as the thing threatened to slide right off of its head again, hat and all. "I will admit to getting a bit tired myself... I think it's the crowds. And the lights. And the excitement in general." It blinked a few times, gaze a bit bleary behind the lenses.

"Okay, um. Th-tho.. um... you... you jutht... thtep like thith.. and hold your handth up like thith..." It was a bit difficult to do the dance to the current song, but really it was a matter of rhythm. And he liked utilizing new skills.
He demonstrated, mismatched hands held up with limp wrists as though stalking some prey, his feet moving accordingly. Just as Jericho had taught him, he was now passing it down to little Amrita. She needed dance lessons, and he was only happy to help.

Calder let his hand slip into the demon's, smiling a bit as he looked away. "It was nothing. I know you were busy. I tried my best. I don't think I brought in a lot of people though. Seemed there was a lot more commotion going on in other booths." Which might have explained why the few that came in wanted a break. Still, it was done and gone and in the end, he didn't think of any way he could have done better short of dressing up as a pillow and bouncing in front of the booth entrance. He only hoped that some of the students remembered the clubs when they came in next year to enroll.
Wow. Next Year. He forgot that this one was ending so soon even though all signs told him that it was. It felt as if just yesterday he was that kelpie who had never once entered a school before, or knew what a desk or cafeteria was. Where eyepods made him turn his head and go 'wha?'.
His smile grew at the thought. In one year, he made friends and learned so much. Much more than he ever felt he got from his actual classes. He couldn't wait for next year to come, but thinking about it, he terribly missed home. It had been forever since he'd seen his parents.
Smiling, he returned to the present and moved with Barth, the pace easy and not that surprising for the demon who took slow and steady to heart.
"Don't worry about the dance. I think everyone's been busy. Hope you are having fun with Lilith." He grinned, knowing how much Barth wanted to impress her.

Xiu wasn't sure what was more stunning--the fact that Vaith was asking her, or the fact that he was smiling. Kind of. Well, it was a very charming smile to her, and the Baku returned the smile with a big one of her own, politely placing her hand in his. "Y-yes please! I'll try not to step on your toes." Her tone was only half-joking--since this was her first formal dance, she was so nervous that she wouldn't be surprised if she did tread on her poor friend's feet.
But she would try not to. "Try" being the key word.
"Excuse us for a bit?" She smiled towards Levi, Demi, and Marzena, dipping her head politely and removing her camera so that it could be left on the table.

Barth winced at the word busy. "Well, err, you know, not busy so much as...otherwise engaged. But all that's sorted out."
He smiled at the mention of Lilith. "Yes, quite. That's been going well. I think. She's... disappointed by me sometimes." And he was often disappointing. Tonight, however, there had only been marks in his favor. "But that's sorted itself out too. How's your date been going?"
Barth was curious on several counts. If it had been going well... well. That was food for thought.

It was a slow process, but it was clear that Riley was slowly, helplessly falling asleep. Her head was on Malodore's shoulder, and her body had managed to lean almost all of it's weight on Jericho from the side. No one had noticed her eyes fluttering closed, due to the sunglasses - but the bubbly sounds emitting from her mind were a telltale indicator that sugar + excitement + happiness =

Grinning to Malodore, Jericho's attention soon shifted to Riley as he felt her lean against him more. Before he could ask if there was something up, he heard some bubbly noises emitting from her mind. The dragon gave her a light nudge but it didn't seem to warrant much of a reaction.
"Looks like she's already one step ahead of us," he chuckled, "We should probably get her to her room soon."

Armed with a fantastic new hat, Amrita followed Christof's directions and subsequently began learning The Creep. She shuffled her feet as he did, lifting his arms and flailing her limbs like he did; it was easier to make her wrists flop, they were all twisty anyway! Before long she was laughing happily, which was an oddity for her; Amrita never laughed.
"Heee! Christof, Thank you!" She cheered, leaning over to hug the nearest appendage to her - his demon arm. In the process she spotted Riley, and she paused. "Oh...I think she fell asleep!" She whispered to Christof like it was some huge secret.
"Thank you for the dance!" Amrita was happy with her little time with Christof, but she had to get back to Charlie and...well, he probably should go poke Riley. Hugging him around the neck now and standing on her toes, she gave her igor friend a quick peck on the cheek; it something she had seen Lizzy do, so it had to have been okay!

"Ah, yes, I agree," Malodore said, wryly. "Might I ask for your assistance? I'm not entirely capable of carrying anyone any great distance..."
