Rakuin Sanimiitai |Koton Heir Apparent| | Chunnin | Konohagakure | Doton : : : Fuuton |
Into the academy Rakuin made his way through the front, leaving Tetsu to trail behind ever so slightly. He'd been unable to practice with his spear for far too long, and as such, he'd need to fix that. He grabbed one of the weapons scrolls available to him, before dipping off into a room for himself and Tetsu. There was plenty to practice, after all. Primarily, it came to stance to begin.
It was fortunate that the scroll had a diagram, as he drew the spear from its customary place on his back. Raki began simply by adjusting his footing, sliding his foot forward so that his shoulder was placed forward. Crouching ever so slightly so that he might achieve a lower center of gravity, harder to knock around. The spear rest in either hand, holding the haft parallel to his own shoulders, the base of the haft where his knees currently were positioned. It was reasonable to assume he'd gotten the stance covered well enough.
[Fighting Stance - 1/1]
Next came the more simple techniques. To begin with, he knew he would have to proceed from the stance he was currently standing in, leaving nothing but a thrust of the spear. It would be meant to take on lightly armored foes, which was well enough. Edging ever so slightly forward toward a practice dummy, he thrust his hands forward, spear in hand before pulling it back anew. An awkward jerk at that, but it was well enough..
[Thrust - 1/1]
Within range of the practice dummy, it was simple enough option. Now that he was up to basic combat, he'd just taken care of a thrust, and now it was a basic cutting practice. He made certain to keep the basic stance, unmoving in which he raised his right hand upon the haft, blade moving along with it. After the process, he went and dropped his hand with force, dragging the blade downward along the torso of the dummy, leaving a light slice several inches long.
[Slash - 1/1]
It was a simple movement at this point. All so simple it was, for at this point it would be to move whilst in stance. He maintained his simple stance, spear held parallel to the ground. Nonetheless, he knew he'd be recycling old skills to supplement that he was proper. The young man moved forward carefully, while his spear came slashing downward yet again, across the dummy anew.
[Forward Step - 1/1]
Ugh... Another simple one, the young man thought in displeasure. The basics were most necessary to move onto the largest and most impressive techniques, but then again... How was he to ever free himself of the urge of the monotony and the cycle of vengeance that the trio were entitled if he didn't learn the greater skills? The young man drew up the spear, angled it downward and took a stab at what would be someone's kneecap.
[Downward Stab - 1/1]
The young man looked about the room, before leveling the spear yet anew. IN this particular case, it was a simple parrying maneuver, but he had little means to actually- Scratch that. He knew just what it was he should do! "Tetsu! Charge me!" It was a rather ridiculous command, but after a moment of gazing, the ram charged lightly. Flipping the spear, the young man curved the spear before striking the horns. The horns were belayed, yet sent the young man stumbling to the floor.
[Parry - 1/1]
[More editing to come... xD]

Masahiro made his way towards the academy, asking several of the students and faculty if they had seen any sign of young Uchiha Koan, several shook their head that they had not. Masahiro took this in stride and continued along his quest until an older shinobi, a former teacher of hers, pointed him in the right direction, a library of scrolls and jutsu. Just the kind of place one would find an Uchiha. A few minutes later the rumbling voice of the young girl could be heard through the magnification jutsu, leading him directly to her and to a wealth of scrolls.
"You know, I haven't seen some of these in nearly a decade now. I'll be your new instructor, by-the-by, Hatake Masahiro." As the man spoke he reached down and retrieved the Human Cocoon Technique scroll from a low shelf. [1/3]
"Jinteki no Mayu, the Human Cocoon Technique. My master loved this technique, used to make himself a hammock in the trees outside of the village and look over us as we sparred. Or he'd be a bit ballsy and attach it to a stone and lay in the river as we fought around him. You know, come to think of my master, we did a lot of fighting, but he did more sleeping." The man said to the young Uchiha girl as he unfurled the scroll and made a quick notation of the required signs and the old limitations warned of the technique. [2/3]
"But as I've only got you directly under my supervision I think I'll have to be more hands on, so this will probably be the only time you see me actually use the technique." The man spoke as he quickly drew his hands in quickly memorized signs, a small puff of smoke working along with the final sign as a cocoon enwrapped itself in a corner of the room, which Masahiro could be seen lounging in, picking through the scrolls and books in that particular region of the library.
"You, Uchiha Koan, I have heard have a reputation. Perfection. Pride, a bitter streak a mile wide. Before you say anything, all I have to say is that it had better be true if you expect to survive the training the Hokage has asked me put you through." He wheeled on her, picking a secondary scroll off of the wall. [3/3 Jinteki no Mayu [ Human Cocoon Technique ] Learned]

"From what I understand you don't seem to need much more of that. What you seem to need is not so much structure, but something to bridge the structures you know." Hatake Masahiro spoke with a curt nod, his left hand settling on the hilt of his sakabato, wrist bending over it lightly to show no sign of attack or ill will.
"Perhaps it is best we get to know each other first, however. I didn't sweep in and grab your dossier and exactly study you from afar before introducing myself to you, and I doubt you know much about me since you'd have just been getting into lesser schools when I left the village to train. Truth be told, I'm a little famished, perhaps we should go gather something to eat?" He asked the young girl as he reached through the pockets of the vest he carried over his shoulder to find a wallet that was very low on funds.
"Looks like I should have just enough to feed us," he chuckled absentmindedly, "so tell me, what kind of jutsu do you specialize in?"

______Taka stopped watching the other shinobi in the room now, intent on getting something done. She set on her pillows in the corner of the room, facing the rest of the area and her eyes would lose focus as she dove into her minds eye. She had several genjutsu to use and free time to finally do so. She focused on the first known technique, having studied them quite extensively while teaching slow moving students. It was a simple tune to turn animals against their owners. A simple whistling between the lips could do this fairly easily. She could whistle, so she could do the technique. Easy right? She moved along rather quickly to the next one.
The next technique was a bit tougher than a simple realization and a parlor trick. The firefly's could be manifested fairly simply but the buildup had to be done quite carefully. She formed her seals in her minds eye and a single firefly would come into focus. During the buildup of this technique, those fireflies would be key to keeping the target in the genjutsu. As she focused her chakra to take shape, dozens more would come out into view and the world here would begin to dim, the noise of the other students muting slowly around her until there was nothing to be heard. The fireflies flew around her slowly, all moving counterclockwise. They would converge in mass on Taka as she focused on their formation, swirling around her. She started to hear voices in her ears speaking to her, telling her to kill her kage, her genin team, all these students in the academy. She mentally shook her head rapidly to try and shut out the images and voices speaking to her. She finished the formation of the jutsu and let her fingers separate, ending it on her, a rush of warmth coming back to her body as she felt the tension leave her.
Her next technique was a powerful one. One that she was not willing to try on herself. She created a clone to endure the torturous technique and had it walk away for a few steps in their dark area. She focused on molding the chakra. She had to focus on molding it into the claws. She knew the shape of those very well, as did her legs from taming Shade. Those would work nicely. She focused on the shape of Shades claws, imagining them digging into her legs and tearing into her flesh, the sharpness and the merciless instruments of destruction in her mind. She pushed her hand forward and the clones eyes went wide. The camera switched perspective to the clones side. The clone looked down with those wide eyes. Registering horror those eyes were locked onto a set of lions claws digging deep into her stomach. Taka's hand closed back in her real body, those claws sinking into flesh as a tear rolled down from the clones eyes. There was no mercy in Taka's eyes as she clenched her fist and twisted it. The hand would rotate as she did and she would pull her arm back, the sound of flesh ripping filling the space and the spatter or freely flowing blood lightly dripping into the abyss. The clone could only stare in horror as she watched her entrails being taken from her, playing out with the hand. Taka would rip her hand back and drop the entrails on the floor and wave her hand in a slashing motion, cutting open the clones face and sending it to the floor in the perceived impact. The clone dispersed and Taka was very glad she couldn't feel what the clone did. She was sure that would hurt. She was also very glad she taught her companions how to kai themselves and her out of a genjutsu. She couldn't afford to be caught in something that powerful for very long. Taka smiled at her story, cranking through two extremely high level techniques in one go. Both the voice of terror and the tribute to the sand.
Her next technique memorized was an iffy one. It involved controlling the weather to a degree of precision. She could make them believe they were in a firestorm, however they wouldnt actually be burned. Though her genjutsu was easily powerful enough to cause their mind to believe they were burned and do physical damage to the body. She mentally sighed, the darkness going ripply from the effect. She missed her mate deeply. She was beginning to think her collection of genjutsu was in a way, hording to ease her pain. She definitely felt it still and was convinced she wasnt returning, the ring around her neck proof of this. This would fuel this genjutusu. The pain of loss manifesting in a pure storm of rage and sorrow. It would hail for her. She stood and moved into the center of the blackness, the outer edges of her focus wobbling as if unstable now. She snapped her fingers and the hail started pouring down. Another movement of her hands and her form was obscured by dozens of falling flower petals which swirled around her before dispersing.
The next genjutsu was a nice one, as she didnt have to maintain the seals for the effect. The clone sprang back into existence with a kunai in hand, looking highly irritated that it kept being used as testing fodder. She put a hand on its shoulder and gave the clone an apologetic smile and its features softened a bit. She could swear the simple gesture left her with a purring clone. "Ready?" She asked the clone, who answered with a nod. She formed the seals keeping eye contact with her doppelganger. There was the brief sound of chakra formation and a glow around Taka. The clone nodded and slashed at the air with her kunai, aiming for Taka's throat. She took a step back to simply dodge the kunai and the clone stopped, holding its throat with wide eyes. It pulled its hand away, not seeing blood it would continue assaulting Taka, swinging its kunai and missing each time. And every time thin angry wounds would appear on the clones body where she had swung. She smiled each time at the results becoming more and more true to its form. So dodged this way and that, the kunai slashing inches from her, still tearing deep lines into the clones flesh. She jumped back away from a final slash and the clone fell to its knees, in its eyes drenched in blood and bleeding out rapidly as a pool spread across the floor. She dismissed the clone, once again glad that she couldnt feel these clones.
Taka had only a few more jutsu on her list to learn, both of which being avatar techniques. The first was the avatar of fury, designed to do exactly what it was named. Blind the target with rage. Quite useful in most situations. She formed the indicated seals and manifested her chakra in the form of the armored warrior, the catalyst of this jutsu. The ghostly knight moved up to take, in that reassuring manner it generally took but would soon do mean things to her mind. She held her seal as it walked up to her and seemingly pushed its cold hands into her mind, bringing up the last time she saw her life mate. The issues in kumo, the person trying to drag her name through the dirt at the chunin exam interviews. All the bad memories of her past being brought up and replayed in front of her. Even though the person was from the same village, this made her want to tear her apart. She felt the rage clouding her vision and the taunting features of the delicious looking female before her. Her yellow hair, and those green eyes. She could make her scream out and become her little pleasure slave if she truly wanted it. Only to be thrown out with the Monday trash after she had become completely devoted. Yes that seemed like it was deserved. At least thanks to the genjutsu it did. She likely wouldn't feel this way when she released it. Images of things to be done to the girl swam through her mind, clouding judgment and reveling in the ability to inflict pain to the girl as she begged for more. She released the genjutsu from herself and gasped out as the feelings vanished. She need to take a moment for herself to calm down and push the images from her mind. She could be a truly cruel person if she wanted to be. She pushed the thoughts from her mind and ran through her clarity technique, calming herself. After a few moments of calming herself down she would stand and head toward the hokages office unless stopped. It was enough of a break for her, she needed to get back to work.

”To live in each current moment,”
At a full sprint, Terra blurred onto the scene and placed a hand in the middle of her chest. She breathed heavily, each breath taken at almost a panting pace; sweat dripped off of her slowly, having sprinted the entire village to attempt to evacuate the people. She finally had one last building to do so in, noticing that an evacuation was already underway.
Entering the building, students were scattering everywhere as Terra tried to get them organized. She walked up and down each hallway, covering as much ground as possible as she blurred as much as possible. As she was evacuating, she realized that she'd probably have to continue her training afterwards should things turn sour.
At long last, she blurred her way to the middle of the academy and stood there, out of breath and panting. She continued to try to recover herself as she smiled. She had successfully evacuated many of the people in the village.
