Elizabeth stopped at a rather large distance away from the gates. She could barely see the outline. "This is where we part ways for now. Just head up to the gate, Ill be watching just in case. If they let you in, send a post card to takumi for me with your place shown. Ill meet you on the front doorstep later that evening. Promise." She said and took her rifle off her back and laid down in the sand, looking through the glass and seeing a much closer picture of the gates. She drop the stabilizing legs into the sand and setup there for now. "Ready when you are." She said to her friend and would wait from there.
Sonyo nodded to Elizabeth and then reached down, patting her head lightly before walking to the gates. Her white cloak would make her nearly invisible in till she got past the heat rising off the sand. She felt a bit more comfortable with Elizabeth watching over her, knowing that if anything went wrong that she could most likely save her before she got too hurt. She took a deep breath, stopping at the gates, then looked at the guards. "I-I request entrance and then a moment to speak with the Kazkage... I-If that's possible. Thank you..." She couldn't hide the light nervousness in her voice, she was just a runaway who was scared and was looking for a place to call home.. but to the guards she could be anything, including a threat, and that terrified her.

Trudging back from the Red Sands and his mine a strange sight caught Masahiro's attention. Two young women heading towards the village gates, but they seemed apprehensive. Going so far as to stop and part ways, before one lowered herself into the sands and prepared a UHV weapon. They came in droves last time, a massive suicide mission, but now they arrived in a two man cell, seeking entrance to the village through sheer timidity? This was not sitting very well with the ANBU and he was going to investigate very closely. Reaching into his flak jacket he pulled up the facemask of his undertunic and used it to cover his lower face, then drawing out some fabric from one of his pockets he used it to create the traditional ANBU head covering, pre-mask era.
He took off with a burst of movement towards the one who had her rifle drawn, circling around her blindspot. If she was staring down that scope then she would be blind to him as he approached. He, however, was unarmed, so he would have to be careful in his approach and attempt to draw her into close range as quick as possible to defeat the upper-hand her rifle gave her.
Closing the distance with footsteps muffled by the sands and his years of combat and training in it, the ANBU delivered a kick to the woman's rifle, tossing it aside if she wasn't quick enough to recover it or wearing it on a sling. Taking a step back from the position as soon as he cleared the line of the rifle he looked to her and took a combatant position, crimson eyes with a single tomoe each staring down to her.
"I took it your commanders didn't want to lose more men to the sands. You've got ten seconds, Soldier." He spoke, the word awkward in his mouth as he spat it out to her.

The rifle flung from her position she rolled away and sprang up onto her feet, knife drawn. A nasty looking serrated combat knife with a large blade being held in a reverse position as she stood near her downed rifle. "Ten...nine....eight." She said tilting her head in the direction of her friend. "Doesnt matter as long as she has a home. Back...off" She said and was in a defensive posture. 's**t...thats just perfect. Village anbu. How in the ******** did I not see a patrol..good job liz.' she chastised herself. "My commander sent us on a suicide mission, so we're not getting back. But Im not where the mission is supposed to be either. Floodwaters my a**.." She said the last bit under her breath but it would be just audible for him.
Listening to the words of the woman he kept his eyes intently focused on her, the crimson hues staring through her while he set himself into position for another strike. Hearing her out he heard the words of one seeking home and of one in desperation. They weren't here to attack Suna, they were here to escape the UHV rule. His eyes seemed to soften as he darted forward, delivering another attack directly to her abdomen, just beneath her ribs to double her over. As he remained directly in line with her his right hand moved up from her ribs to her hand to grasp the knife she brandished.
"You're running. You're afraid. I know that despair, I know that pain." He gripped her knife hard and wrenched it from her hand, tossing it beside her rifle.
"I'll watch your friend. I can't vouch for you after we caught you leveling a rifle towards our gates. But I have a friend in Takumi. He's an older gentleman, he'll be arriving to do business in the forge in a couple of days. He will always introduce himself first, as Tetsu Homura he has long silvering hair. If you have anything to give to your friend, have it ready by his arrival.
Takumi. Forge. Old man Tetsu Homura." He repeated as he stepped back from her, his eyes looking her down and then back to the gates, shaking his head to the other ANBU watching.
"Gather your gear and go as soon as I've made it to the gates."

OoC; We discussed the character auto-hit outside of the combat, in Skype before choosing to go with it.
Her eyes went wide and a little spit flew from her mouth on the impact. She doubled over, her free hand brushing the mans own as she moved it to her stomach. The pain was excruciating but she could at least think. Her weapon deffinetly wasnt her body though. A brief flare of chakra that could even be attributed to the pain was sent through her hand and a tiny mote of black would be made on the back of his hand. Unseen, under gloves. It would serve a purpose in the future perhaps but for now, she just tried to listen, glaring up at him. "The rifle is for her sake..." She coughed out. Tol'd her id cover her." She shakily got to her feet and regained her breath watching him move off. 'could have just asked...thats going to burn a little while...' she thought to herself as she stopped shaking and picked up her rifle, slinging it over her shoulder. She would have to clean it later. She slipped her knife back into her boot and would still stay and watch the form of her friend until she moved into the gates. She didnt trust someone that ambushed her for any reason. Even if it was protecting his own. Though she didnt blame him either. But you didnt live through trust alone anymore. You had to live through cunning as well.

Arriving beside the girl's friend he placed a hand on her shoulder and looked to the other ANBU guarding the Crevice. He gave them a nod and proceeded to enter the gateway with the girl in tow. As he looked down to his hand he saw a variance of his chakra flow, a different coloured chakra overlayed on his own. A fuuinjutsu layed over him.
"Your friend is quick, I sent her on her way to Takumi. You'll come with me to the Kazekage's Office, speak when spoken to, and be mindful and respectful while you're here. Do you have anything you wish to announce to me before I bring you into my Lady's presence?" The ANBU asked as he guided the young scared woman into his city.
Sonyo tensed as she heard footsteps in the sound approaching her, but she didn't turn away from the ANBU at the gates. She jumped when a hand was laid on her shoulder but relaxed as the voice that talked wasn't full of hostility or anger. She turned her head to the man who had spoken, a taller man with long silver hair. Her mind slowly calmed down from it's racing thoughts, and she looked back to look at Elizabeth to make sure she was okay. She let out a sigh of relief seeing the female standing there, then she looked back at the man. "Not really... if you met Elizabeth then it's pretty clear where I'm from... The only thing I can think to tell you that would be of any importance is that I was a fairly new gennin in Otogakure and my name is Sonyo Rue..." She gripped her sleeve with one hand, trying to stop her body from trembling, trying to calm down her breathing... she wasn't going to die, she could calm down now.

The ANBU, face hidden behind cloth, looked into the eyes of the woman as she spoke. He listened to her words carefully and heard what she had to say, dissecting it himself as he lead her on. Sonyo Rue, she introduced herself as. He would give no measure of word in return, but instead would continue to guide her. As an ANBU it was not his place to befriend her or to give her just who he was. Tucking his long hair into his flak jacket he continued the journey forwards.
"You're going to be marked for death by the UHV. They hate the power we've amassed, but they are even more brutal to their traitors. Your resolve is going to be tested, time, and time, and time, and time again until you break or you flourish. You're now the Rose in the Desert, as beautiful and alien to us as a snowflake, and just as likely to wither and die. I can only help to plant the seeds of hope and water the plant occasionally, you must tend to yourself in these hellish lands. You'll find, however, you're among a garden of flowers much like yourself. Each one tested time and time again." The ANBU spoke in veiled words, his eyes turning from hers, the glowing red pupils leaving a small trail in their wake.
Elizabeth waited until she could tell that she had gone inside the gates. That happened to be when she moved out of sight. She shut her eyes and said a silent prayer for her before turning and walking through the desert. She had someone to meet but a few days before she was needed there. Time to survey the site. She honestly wanted to be far away from these trade hubs but technically she wasnt mia yet. Because of this she decided to say ******** it and went to takumi.
If he wanted to scare her, he was doigna pretty good job. Her eye twitched with anxiety as he slowly lead her in to the village and towards the Kazekage. Talking about her being fragile and there being a good chanse that she could be killed or crushed... Jeez. She understood she as an enemy but was there any reason why he had to scare her more than she was already scared. She kept her mouth closed and let him just guide her, praying to everything there was that she'd make it through this day without dying from anxiety.

Masahiro stood at the precipice of the gateway, feeling as alient now as he had when he first came to the lands of the sands and winds. He looked back towards his cousin's seat of power, towards the home he had made for two years, and towards those whose life he had affected in his time here. Shaking his head he made to march away from the village, when stopped by the ANBU at the gate he gave a nod, recognized as one of their own, but now something different sat upon him. He still carried the ANBU mask he had been granted in the village, tucked into his rucksack. Smiling at the thought of it he made his way for the long roads back home. To what could be considered home at least.
"Goodbye Sunagakure, my family. I'll return one day, to see you in the sands." He spoke as he made his way for the world crossroads.
The genin walked up to the gates, and apparently had left her traveling partners behind a little bit. She made it just in time to see Masahiro exit the gates, along with a leaf headband on his forehead. 'Huh. I'll have to ask about that when I get to Lady Kazekage.' Hikari thought, as the jounin passed by and started on his way towards the crossroads. She needed to wait for her allies first, however, and sat in the shade of the gates to stay cool in the desert sun.
