The Darc Knight Interesting design, though I don't like it since these new characters are suppose to be in 1998, not 2008. The Picture X-ed on me Knight, couldn't see what it is. Are you talking about Operation Raccoon City? I don't like the way it's set up. Spectre is a character I used in an old Resident Evil RP i did a while back, before i even heard plans for this game, I can't say I was the one to invent the character for the simple fact I don't know how long it took them to develop ORC. But I don't like it much either, they're using stealth technology, which back in 98, i wouldn't say is a realistic setting for it, unless it's alien lol.

Oh my, it's Star Trek: Enterprise all over again; where the past becomes just as/more technological than it's future!

Rediculous, I know, Isn't it? ^_^ Have you seen the trailer for Operation Raccoon City? It's totally messing with Cannon, I guess that's why it's been dubbed a Spinoff. Ticks me off also that now the Xbox will have Resident Evil 4 on it. Capcom really pissed me off with that, 4 was only suppose to be for Nintendo Game Cube, but they had to screw everything up, and port it to the PC and Playstation, now to the Xbox. You can see all what's going on with the RE 15th anniversary trailer on youtube.

Well we have to know that pretty much any armed forces are usally end up dead in survial horror games. Which would explain as to why, even though being Umbrellas best, they die. That or the suffer Dyntsyt Warriors syndrom. Where any unnamed combanted just stands there and let the enemy have there way.

Poor canon, they keep stretching to suit their needs, specially the Raccoon City Incident, since it's what people think about when you say Resident Evil.
Just how many people did Umbrella throw into that doomed city?! We have Carlo's group, HUNK's retrieval unit, all the scientists in the secret facilities, and now....whatever this team is.
I would have preferred being a random nameless cop of the RPD forced to improvise to save his skin. I mean we already got to play as Kevin in Outbreak, but he was part of the same elite unit that Leon was going to be part of (in case you didn't know, it is wildly speculated that his and Leon's uniforms meant that they would be part of a new team that would substitute STARS).

You have to think though, ORC is non-cannon, so as far as we're concerned it's another elsewolds title by DC Comics. Meaning it has no bearing what so ever on the story, and is just meant to rake in money off of an already sucessful franchise, by using it's name and characters.
I wouldn't be surprised if this ORC game is just the byproduct of an unproduced game, that was abandoned and then picked back up again, because Slaint Six was able to get permission to use Resident Evil as it's Title.
Alot like how the terrible live action movies are byproducts of failed movie ideas, that got fame from using a popular franchise Name.

Theres a DMC movie? I only played the demo that came CVX. So I know next to nothing about it.

I'm a bit confused, You mean how Devil may Cry was an attempt at making the original 4 RE game, but totally took another direction?

The first Devil May Cry was an attempt to make Resident Evil 2, but they got so off track they ended up with something completely different.

When did the first devil may cry come out? RE2 came out in 98 I do believe, and i thought devil may cry came out sometime in 2002.

Pretty very sure: Devil May Cry (デビル メイ クライ) is a series of five hack and slash video games set in the modern day. The series was developed by Capcom and created by Hideki Kamiya. Originally intended to be a sequel in Capcom's Resident Evil series, Devil May Cry was such a radical departure from the series' style that it was developed into a new property entirely.- from Wikipedia.

You see there though? It said it was suppose to be a sequel to the Resident Evil Series, not RE2 though. I do believe that Devil May Cry was suppose to be the 4th installment in the RE series, but as stated, was too dramatically different.
