It's a rather complicated system that never ceases to annoy me. Your best bet is to find someone good at math to help figure it out. (Assuming you're not good at math yourself.) Wait, do you have a bloodline or anything? lol, i figured it out...took a while...but i got it, thank you.
oh, and i read that you can pick multiple shinobi types...is there a rank that you need to be to get them? and does the second one's bonuses drop?

You can pick two, and get the full bonuses of each. Don't bother picking two with the same bonuses though, because those won't stack. You get the full bonus from the start unless specified otherwise by the types.

kk, I was gonna pick Elemental for the learning bonus, and since my main element is earth, and I'm normally around it...+2 rank for it, hahahaha!, and combo to use more jutsu in a post...

To get the +2 rank bonus you have to be near an extreme example of the element (that's a really lame way to explain it, sorry), so for example for Doton you would have to be at a mountain, or something like this

I think for the purposes of balancing it out, to get a bonus of +2 to Earth you need to be around a significant ROCK formation like a mountain or maybe a valley?

@Snuff: On the chakra system, Its assumed that people would read all the major forums before RPing, so we thought that crowding the new member forum with another thread was unneeded.
Everything within the ground is not usable with the doton element. Besides, gameplaywise, that would be incredibly unfair.
@Auggy: You normally have to be near a mountain, preferably the base (since it is where the most loose rock is), a valley, or a formation of rock of some sort.
@Hinote: Oh come on, its not THAT complicated. I'm not a math person, and I can figure it out just fine.
That would depent on how widespread said forest fire is, and your location relative to the fire.

Location would be at the center of it, and spread would be rapidly growing from your current location.

Ummm... Do I get the bonus for my Hyouton without being around a source of ice? I mean I do create it after all. So would my literal character be considered an EXTREME source of ice?
