Akari suddenly noticed the forest end at a tall mountain. He wondered how a mountain would be in a place like this. So he decided to climb the mountain with Heika. On the map, it showed that the magma village was located over the mountains. But it was gonna take more than a day to get over the mountain. So he found a cave and walked inside. It was a good size to camp in. So he took off his bag and unpacked his stuff. It was dark outside as Akari found some wood in the forest and brought it into the cave. He then made a fire. Slowly he took out some of his food as he got out a pot and some water and made some ramen. He then took out two bowls and scooped the right amount into each bowl. He then handed some chop sticks and the bowl to Heika. Akari's face was visible now. He had a smile on his face. "Here... I hope you like ramen. It's the least I could make..." said Akari as he took out a water bottle and handed it to Heika too as he started to eat his ramen slowly.

Heika smiled and thanked her student, hungry from their journey and eager for something to eat. Being handed the water bottle, Heika took a deep gulp before handing it back, rationing the water out of habit. "Its good," Heika said, talking about the food as she began eating. "Is Konoha far?" She asked, having seen Akari handling the map.

Akari slowly placed his bowl of ramen on the ground as he grabbed his map. "Well seems like we have to make it over the mountains. There's a stair case that we have to find. If we find it, it will lead us straight to the village. But we have to go through the mountains first. It seems like these mountains aren't just ordinary mountains. They are volcanic mountains. Some are even active. If we make it to the top, we just might see the lava flows..." said Akari as he layed the map over in front of the two of them. He then ate his ramen again.

Heika laughed a little at Akari's last statement. "Seems wherever I go it always ends up hot and dangerous." She grinned, tipping her bowl up slightly to drink some of the liquid. "Volcanic mountains... how fun. Good sightseeing, I suppose." She mused, mainly to herself, busy eating her noodles.

Akari quickly walked over to his bag as he took out two more ramen packs. He then opened them and tossed them into the pot. As it cooked Akari decided to keep the conversation going so time could go by faster. He then knew of a topic to talk about. "So... I remember seeing you at the festival with someone else. I also remembered him at the bar when I came to eat my dumplings... Who's this guy anyways?" said Akari as he finished his ramen and waited.

Despite acting as though it had effect on her, Heika still couldn't stop the blush that crossed her cheeks. "Oh, I uh, had my Chuunin exams with him." She said, keeping her orange eyes on the bowl in her hands, using the chopsticks to swirl the remaining contents around in it.

"Well... you sure aren't good at hiding what you feel..." said Akari as he pulled down his hood to show his white hair and his face. His kyo kougan was activated the whole time. He could see her emotions with his eyes. He could tell that she liked him. "I guess that's how you two met..." said Akari as he could smell the aroma of the ramen in the pot. He then scooped them into his bowl. He then took Heika's bowl and filled it with the ramen. He then handed it back to her as he started eating again. "Love... how does it easily effect people...." said Akari as he wondered.

"L... love?" Heika said in shock, looking back up to Akari. "W-well... maybe. I don't know. I thought we were friends and then he..." Her blush deepened at the memory. "I didn't graduate the Academy until I was 17, so I never had anyone like that. How am I... Gah, this is too complicated." She huffed, going back to eating her noodles with vigor, orange eyes dark in thought and confusion.

The smile was still kept on Akari's face. He found his sensei interesting. She was a bit funny and weird at the same time. As soon as he herd that he made a move. He knew it. The guy showed his feelings first. Akari wondered how his sensei reacted. She must of been shocked as she was now. After they finished Akari cleaned everything up. He didn't want his sensei to do anything. So he then sat down after he was done packing again. He took out his sleeping bag and layed down for awhile. "Love is also bad and good at the same time you know?" said Akari as he looked at the ceiling.

While Akari cleaned things up, Heika went about scouting the perimeter and setting up traps in case anyone tried to sneak up on them before returning and pulling out her own sleeping bag but just unzipped it and used it as a blanket for her lap, keeping watch over her student as he laid down. "Haha, like I would know. Both my parents are Shinobi and live in the same village but Kevin..." Heika paused, orange eyes gazing upward before looking over to her student, mischief in her eyes. "Broken a few girl's hearts, have you?" She asked.

Akari laughed at the question as he turned to look at his sensei. "I've never met a girl I liked in my life. I... have seen many people who have had broken hearts..." said Akari as he turned to look up at the ceiling again. "The power of love is very strong... It feels really good to have love in your life... It's what keeps all of us living..." said Akari as his smile disappeared from his face. "But it carries a heavy burden... If the heart is broken, the pain will be impossible. Only those who are strong can manage... But some died for that reason..." said Akari as he smiles. "I hope that doesn't happen to you sensei..." said Akari as he smiled.

Heika's smile turned soft and her eyes sad. "I never thought about love like that. I was too busy trying to catch up, I don't think I've ever thought about love at all. And thank you, I hope it doesn't happen to you either." She said before reaching out and ruffling Akari's hair. "Nice hair colour, at least you don't have to worry about turning grey when you're older." She teased.

Akari grinned as he herd the comment. Suddenly the thought came to his head. He didn't have to worry. But Akari felt stupid as thought about it. He smiled as he wondered if he would ever find a girl he liked. But all the thoughts got Akari tired. Climbing up the mountain wasn't easy. So he decided to rest as much as he can. Slowly closed his eyes. His thoughts still wondered his mind. Soon he fell asleep.
(I have to go and sleep right now. I'll see you in the morning...) wink
