Nick surveyed the area looking for anything of interest. He looked around and noticed nothing out of place. So he decided to go refresh himself at a bar a few blocks away.

Meredith removed first herself from the car, shutting the passenger door and out of habit, locking it. That meant that she had to unlock Tokeru's door but that was fine with her since at least she remembered to lock the car in the first place and take the keys out of the ignition. She placed the car keys within the keyhole and she turned it until she heard the soft click that signified the car door was open. Eden then pulled the handle of the door to gently swing it open. After that, she proceeded by pressing the button in order to release Tokeru from his seat belt and get him out of the car. Once she had him in her arms, putting on a careful balancing act, she shut his door and then turned to head toward the tunnels of the Chapterhouse, all that remained of the once mighty structure. They still hadn't figured out who'd blown the place up but it'd been a real b***h and since it'd been in the day, Eden had almost been fried and would have died had it not been for these convenient tunnels. "Here we are, love, what are you needing?"

James parked the honda across the street from Edith. He got out a locked the car with the key in his hands. He then walked over to Edith to see if she need help with Tokeru. As he did this he told them both."Man, to think this is the first place we meet. Even if it was not that great. I'm still gald we did."

Tokeru was glad for his love's help, but this was something he needed to do by himself.
He got out of her arms and stumbled forwards a foot, nearly slipping and cracking his head open among the rubble.
He walked forwards among the debris, and probed the ground on the edges of the rubble every few feet or so.
Please let it still be here he hoped to himself.
After a few dozen minutes of searching, he found what he was looking for. "Can someone dig the rubble out here? I need to get to the ground."

James ran over to where Tokeru was. He started picking up rubble at he could and throwing it out of the way where no one was.

Eden was instantly at her love's side to prevent him from falling or injuring himself, she was serving as a weight that he could lean against and her solid form was definitely capable of holding up his weight. As Tokeru searched and looked around, Meredith was there every step of the way, refusing to leave his side, absolutely defiant. There was no way she was going to let him fall over and hurt himself even more than he had been. "Look," she said to Tokeru, somewhat irritated, "if you're not going to let me carry you then the least you can do is let me stay beside you so that you don't go falling over onto your face. Is that too much to ask?" Clearly she was worried about him and the fact that he was being completely uncooperative and irrtaional was beginning to irk her. It'd been a big step for her to let him come here in the first place and now he was practically refusing assistance of any kind. 'What the fuc-' Just about to ask what Tokeru was here for she heard his thoughts and then he instructed her and James to dig up the rubble in a certain spot. "What are you looking for?" she asked Tokeru as she dug, obviously curious.

Adrian crawled out of the rubble, blearily looking around. He had just been having a nice nap amongst the rubble, then Poof! , here were these people digging into his little nap-area. He waited a couple of minutes to dust himself up and wake up properly, and then said "Ach, any particular reason ye scunners are digging in me hoom?" He picked a piece of metal from his arm and flicked it away, stretching slightly. "There a' was, sleepin’ and think o' ships jumpin' over tha wee fence, then there were these claggers picking oot ma furniture." He noticed that they were hunters, sighing; he saluted in a haphazard way.

When Meredith jumped back out of surprise and gasped, it wasn't needed to point out that she'd not been expecting the man to be there in the pile of junk they were uprooting. "Oh my good lord! I never saw you there! What the hell are you doing in a dump anyhow?" She heard the Scottish accent and wondered if she was to generalize and assume that perhaps he was a bit too loud mouthed a drunk and had landed himself down with no money. Then again, the Irish were better known for being drunks but who knew. She was American so she couldn't really say much since she'd only been to the places as a teenager and hadn't met all that many of them. "Any particular reason," Eden restated her former question, "you're living here in a dump? You are aware that this rubble is from a former base of an organization that a few of us hunters were formerly a part of. We just need to rebuild the place and we'll probably be hanging out here a whole bunch again. When that happens, you'll have to come join up with us so that you actually get a bed as opposed to sleeping beside a building that's being rebuilt." She smiled to him then extended her hand as opposed to saluting. "Edith Jackson, you are?"

"Ach weel, I'm a bit o' a classy gent, and no I ain't drunk, not that you're not the first clagger to ask me that." He took the tip of the Finger of her hand and shook it gingerely, ready to jump back in case of danger. When he saw there was none he let go, looking around. "Weel, I 'spose sleepin' in a bed would be preferable to sleeping on old medical waste, but what would I ha' to do exactly? I already keel off any Vampies or Wolfies I see apart from the ones who're hunters obviously" He looked around, jumping back suddenly, landing on his back. "Ach, sorry, I thought I heard somethin', meh well."

"Sorry," Eden said as she put her hands up in mock surrender, "I'm ignorant of culture so I'm just going by myths and rumours and other such things." When he took the tip of her finger she was prepared to take her entire arm back, wary that he was going to break her finger but it turned out that he was just shaking her finger as opposed to her hand. "You just join the Shadow Stalkers. We're separate from the Hunters organization but we're allies of them and basically a branch of them if you will." When he mentioned rather quietly that he didn't hunt hunters that were vampires or lycans, she became a slight bit stiff. "You'd," she said menacingly, "do well to keep it that way since they're quite capable of hunting down traitors who do target them." She then raised an eyebrow at him as he jumped back and landed flat on his back. "Good thing you're not a turtle or you might be in a bit of a predicament now wouldn't you? As for hearing anything, I didn't catch anything out of the ordinary. Spooked easily are we now?"

He jumped back again when she started to talk in a threateneing manner, his hands rushing for something to keep him steady. He managed to get onto a sitting position on a brick, and said "Ach, do ye think I would honestly be stupid enough to hunt down me own kin? Ye can get hung up by ye neck for so much as stealing ano'er man's drink!" He brushed his fringe out of his eyes, they were darting about quite fervently. "An' I ain't Paranoid, everyone IS out to get me, those claggers at tha Institution, the Vampires, Wolfies, Demons." He wrinkled his nose for a second "Or Tainted as you politically correct bastards call them." He looked up, a rare moment of calm streaking across his face. "Can ye honestly look me in the eyes and tell meh that everyone isn't after everyone else around here?"

"Thing is," Eden responded with a cool calmness that made her seem almost predatorial, "I haven't a friggin' clue so I suppose I just threw it out there for good measure. Not in this country you can't though laws seem to be getting more and more useless as time goes on. And the new ones seem to be becoming more and more ridiculous." She noticed that his eyes seemed to be unfocused and shifting here and there and back again. It made her wonder if he was alright and whether or not they should have left him to his sleep. "Hm, Institution ... That might explain a few things, then again there are a lot of us here that psychologists would probably want to institutionalize for what we've done or been through or whatever else you can think of. Of course we're all paranoid! We're hunters and we hunt monsters that try to kill us! Of course they're out to get us because either we're considered traitors to our own kind or we're a nice little play toy or snack for them to feast upon! No I cannot look you in the eye and honestly tell you that. Getting back at eachother, creating conflict, that's just how this city seems to work."

Tokeru said nothing as they dug, preferring to conserve his strength. Then when they finally reached the dirt at the bottom, he searched around with his hand, and pressed inwards.
The air reverbrated with a resounding "Click", and a hole opened up beneath Tokeru, who having completely forgotten he had built this when he had wings, fell down.

Eden turned in horror to see Tokeru wander off when she became preoccupied with Adrian only to see him fall down some sort of hole. "Tokeru, what the ******** are you doing?!" Without so much as a second thought for her own safety, she jumped down the hole after him. She realized, after she'd jumped in that it was a long way down, or at least longer than she'd expected it to be. Next she was going to have to worry about missing Tokeru as she landed since if she landed on top of him the impact would definitely not be pretty. 'What the ******** is he thinking?! Just falling down this friggin' black pit without even considering how deep it could be or whether or not he'd get hurt!' She just continued to fall, waiting to see how long it'd take her before she hit something solid. At least her legs hopefully wouldn't be crushed from the impact of her fall or jump since she had jumped down after him.
