Lily smiled as Darius kissed her. There they were lying in the mud having the time of their lives, anyone who found them would probably think they were crazy, but who cares? Lily looked up at the night's sky knowing that it was indeed time to leave. Lily kissed Darius on the lips and smiled weakly.

"I'll need to change before my mission...think you can get us out of this mud trap we seem to always fall into??"

Lily smiled as they hovered above the mud. She felt amazing, as if she were part of the sky almost.

"My place, the window is still open so we can get in that way." She was happy that she'd remembered to leave the window open just in case they'd decided to make a stop there, because now it had paid off.

"I can change and then go..."

Oni took the first step into the forest. "I'd better carry out Itoko-kun, this place is wet and muddy all over..." Oni picked up Tetsuo and threw him on her back, securing the straps around her shoulders. "We're going to have to head toward the cabin. Our best bet is the trail leading to the school from there. I just hope we find something..."
"Yea, maybe somebody dropped a map that clearly leads us to their secret hideout..."
"You're not very funny, you know."
"Well excuuuuse me. Hey Itoko-kun...why do you hate people so much that you would isolate youself from everyone. You never told me. And why is it that you trust me? Am I not a person as well? What makes me so different that you would go out of your way to take care of me?
"It's because I feel we're the same. I was cast-out of society because people believed I was a freak. They would hurt me both physically and emotionally. Eventually, I became tired of trying to fight the whole world, and decided to live alone. Then I found you. Left to fend for yourself in these woods. You had been thrown away, unwanted, just like me. I took care of you for that reason."
Oni continued to walk in silence until something bright caught her eye. She ran over toward the object and sifted through the wet leaves.
"What is it??"
Oni lifted up the object. It's some sort of pendant. What should we do with it?"
"Keep it. It might be something we may need. Just DONT put it in my back!"
"Why would I put it away? It's beautiful!" Oni put the pendant around her neck. The chain was just long enough for it to rest on her heart. It resembled a silver pheonix with outstretched wings. A black orb rested on its breast.
"Now what?"
"Let's get back to campus, I wanna take a look at it"
Oni stood up, and headed towards the campus.

Kira landed and walked next to Deleno. "The usual. Bears, squirrels, deer. Nothing really extrordinary. I usually grab a bobcat or a deer."

Kira found a chuckle escaping from her. She quickly shut her mouth in surprise. No one ever made her laugh. Except her family. She shrugged and whistled. Nemia appeared a moment later. "Anything interesting today Nemia?" "A group of Unicorns have entered the forest. Also, I thought I saw a Phoenix. Not to mention a family of gryphons." Kira's lips twitched and she glanced at Deleno. "Shall we?" Her claws had already grown back.

Kira scowled and she strained against the ropes. She bent her hands until the claws cut the rope. Then she darted after him. She half spread her wings in a special way so that she could attain faster spped. She suddenly paused and lifted her nose. She smelled the gryphon's scent instantly. The baby had been seperated. She grin, her fangs peeking through. Then she darted off again to where she knew the parents would be.

Kira gave an irritated sigh. Stupid. Now they were probably hiding. Kira stopped in the last spot that they had been. She breathed in deeply to make sure. Kira settled herself on the ground. technically, she was using the same thing she always used for hunting. She began to sing a soft lilting tune. The creatures of the forest began to head toward her area. Kira merely kept her eyes closed. She could feel the gryphons coming.

Kira opened her eyes and scowled. She stood up and at that moment, the baby gryphon entered. Kira went to it and cooed to it softly. She smiled sadly. "Poor thing. I am really sorry. I would have asked but the idiot killed your daddy before I could. Go on to your mother now. Go on." The grypon growled softly and gently nibbled her hand. Then he trotted off into the brush. Kira turned and ripped a cloth from her shirt and wrapped her hand. She stepped up next to the dead gryphon and looked at it. "I suppose I'm cooking then."
