Ah. If her last name was Jennings, then it certainly must be just Sasha. Kirsa didn't mind acting as a resting pole, mostly because it certainly beat a number of other things Sasha could be doing. "Well, what do you suggest we do, then? It is a pity that I cannot battle you, as that would certainly pass the time."
Like many of the Pokemon present, Hans was getting fired up just hearing the other battles. He would never get stronger if he didn't fight! Then he could give the Elekid payback. He glanced up at Prickles; no, the Houndour could tell that Prickles was much too strong to fight. Where had that Mudkip run off to? Hans could probably turn it into a chew toy...

"Yep, I've known this fella since he was a Charmander," Kasiya said somewhat proudly, "and I was there both times when he evolved," she added, remembering both events as though they'd happened yesterday. Nitro had evolved into a Charmeleon in order to defend her from Hiro, who at the time had been quite mean and vicious. She was also there the day he completed his evolution and became the mighty Charizard he is now - it had been during a practice battle with Mike, where not only had Nitro evolved, but her Golbat had become a Crobat at virtually the same time. "Yup, we've come a long way since then," she said wistfully, remembering that the first time she'd met Mike, he'd been running through Vermilion City, smoke trailing from his rear-end as Nitro had set him on fire. "Good times," she mumbled, remembering her manners as she turned back to the girl. "Hi," she said brightly, as though they were speaking for the first time. "I'm Kasiya," she said, before pointing down to the baby Pokemon who was still busy investigating her big brother. "And this little girl is Nova! She only hatched like... five minutes ago," she said. "Nova, this is your big brother! His name is Nitro!" Sometimes, the way Kasiya talked about the Charizard almost sounded as though she were his trainer.
"Char!" Nova cried happily in response. Now, she didn't exactly know what a 'big brother' was but she sensed it was something special. After all, the bigger, stronger version of her had the same scent as she did. She took a cautious step back as the Aipom approached her, but after a moment or two of studying him she decided that he wasn't going to hurt her. Besides that, he was wearing a really cool... thing on his head! The excitement and all that of just being born and having all this stuff to look at was definitely taking its toll on her though, and the youngster let out a loud yawn before plopping down on the warm pavement next to Nitro. For a few moments she stared dreamily at their burning tailflames and just like that she was sound asleep.
"Okay, I guess it's nap time for you," Kasiya said, bending down to scoop up the little one in her arms. She took the only empty Pokeball she'd brought with her and gently touched it to the baby's head, and she was pulled inside without incident. The light in the center faded instantly and Kasiya smiled at the sphere before placing it on her belt with the others. It was then that she remembered (again) that Shocker was missing. "Oi! Shocker, where are you?" she shouted, ignoring all the looks she was getting from several directions.
There was far too much noise going on right now for Shocker to hear her trainer's calls, but she did know the general direction from which she'd just come from. She waved up at Train, wondering if her new friends would follow her as she began to look for Kasiya. "Raiiiicuuuu?"
=-=-=-=-= "We're coming already," Jaeshan grumbled, giving one final wave to Sasha before he made a move to follow after the redhead. Combusken was way ahead of him, having already taken her place opposite Helios by the time Jaeshan caught up to them. For a quick moment he studied the Vulpix. Sure, it wasn't the largest of Pokemon but he knew very well that he shouldn't underestimate a Pokemon because of its size. He looked back up at Keegan and grinned. "Let's make this a fun one, eh?" he called out. "Combusken, start off with Double Kick!"
With a cry, Combusken bolted forward, locking her gaze onto the fox. As she neared her target, she felt the muscles in her strong legs loosen up in preparation for her strike. I hope she doesn't go overboard, Jaeshan thought, watching her lash out with two strong kicks. She really needs to learn how to keep her cool during battle...

Luffy pouted slightly as the other cool smaller lizard was put back into its strange ball thing. Luffy didn't quite understand them, Robin put others in them and he had seen other trainers put there Nakama inside of them but he had never been put in one. He shrugged slightly he knew who his Nakama was, he didn't need a ball to remind him of that. Looking around he frowned slightly, he couldn't see anything good really, he decided to go back up to rest on Robin's shoulder. He kind of wanted to go swimming but he wasn't sure if he would be able to swim, his counterpart couldn't... He would have to wait for Robin to take him. He just hoped she would hurry.
Robin was about to introduce herself when the other shouted for some what Robin could only assume was one of her pokemon. She waited for a moment before she hesitantly introduced herself. "My name is Robin Knight and my Aipom's name is Monkey D. Luffy, you can just call him Luffy though." This other trainer seemed a lot more experienced then she was, she had seen the powerful Charizard, er Nitro, evolve all of his times. Plus she had a brand new Charmander! Robin was so jealous, she shouldn't want a new pokemon so soon though, she still had a lot of training to do. "Umm are you looking for your other pokemon?" She knew the feeling, what with Luffy wondering off whenever the hell he felt like it.

"Actually, yeah," Kasiya replied a bit sheepishly, looking around in hopes of spotting a familiar, tawny mouse running around nearby. She would have no such luck, however. "My Raichu. I mean it's not like she can't take care of herself, but I kinda wish she wouldn't run off on her own..." she said somewhat sadly, although Robin was wearing one of those 'I know how you feel' looks. But then again, both Keegan and Jaeshan were nearby, and she thought that perhaps if Shocker couldn't find her, then perhaps the Raichu would find one of them. Kasiya studied the Aipom up on her shoulder for a few moments. He looked quite energetic, and Kasiya guessed that perhaps the little guy was bored.
A few more moments passed and Kasiya shrugged. "Well, I guess I'd better go look for her, and get back to my friends," she added.

Robin watched the other girl for a moment, "Well good luck finding her. I will keep an eye out, not that it counts or anything." She sighed slightly before glancing over at Luffy, and smiled slightly. "You wanna go swimming little buddy? I bet the others want to be let out as well." That said Robin waved goodbye to Nitro and Kasiya before walking over to the shore. There were a lot of beach goers but Robin found a clear spot before reaching back to the small of her back where Raz's parkball and Brooks pokeball was. Pressing both of their buttons and releasing them before reattaching them to the back of her bathing suit. "Hey you two." She greeted as they both appeared.
Raz was not surprisingly wide awake and did a little flip in the air as a greeting while Brook practically died of joy at all the pretty trainers. Robin just chuckled slightly at them. "I figured you two would want out, were going swimming, or... well Luffy and I am, I am pretty sure you will float Brook and Raz you can fly. Still don't bug anyone. In fact, Brook I am not letting you out of my sight. Raz please behave yourself." Robin pleaded as she bent down to pick Brook up. Brook was a bit disappointed but he got over it when Robin started to head into the surprisingly warm water.
On her shoulder Luffy get out a happy cry at seeing his Nakama appear and then they headed into the water, plus his newest Nakama was with him to! Raz was flying ahead of them enjoying the sea spray on his wings. Letting out a chattering laugh Luffy dipped his hand tail into the water and gave Brook, and consequently Robin, a splash.
"Oi! Luffy no splashing!" Robin was laughing though clearly not to upset.

Riza continued to watch Sneasel splash around in the shallows, freezing drops of water and very much enjoying herself. Riza couldn’t help but smile as she watched her Pokemon. Seeing the Sneasel have fun seemed to always make her happy. Out of the corner of her eye Riza saw a girl with red hair and her Pokemon begin to play in the water. Riza had to think about it but she recognized the Aipom and Hoppip. She didn’t know what the bug was though, and her Pokedex was in her bag, on shore. ‘Oh well,’ she though. She’d find out what it was sooner or later, but right now she was far more concerned with figuring out what that strange move that Sneasel kept doing was. ‘It has to be an ice-type move,’ she mused thoughtfully, wishing Jaden were here. He’d know what it was, seeing as he was the veteran trainer and all that jazz. “I wish you could just tell me,” Riza laughed, watching Sneasel freeze a solid patch of ice on the surface of the water. The combined warmth of the ocean and the day made the ice’s lifespan quite short, but that didn’t stop Sneasel from repeating her actions.

Helios crouched low to the ground as Combusken advanced upon him - she was much faster than he'd anticipated. He managed to dodge the first kick with ease, but Combusken's momentum was against him and the second kick was planted right into his side. While it wasn't the strongest of attacks, and Vulpix weren't known for their stamina, Helios beared it without a sound, backing up a bit while he waited for an order from Keegan.
We've really gotta work on our move opions, the redhead thought, but gestured forward with his right hand. "Counter with Ember!"
Helios let out an indignant snort at the request of such a weak attack, but he complied, remembering that this was a practice match and he wasn't trying to hurt Combusken. With a growl, the fox let out a small burst of flames from his mouth, his six tail twitching as though they each had a mind of their own.

Riza looked around to see where her new acquaintances had gone, and she wasn’t at all surprised to see that they’d spread out a bit. In fact, the tall blonde boy with the weird name and Keegan were now having what looked like a battle of their own. Intrigued, Riza wandered over towards them, grabbing her bag and beckoning for Sneasel to follow her. ‘That is one strange looking Pokemon,’ she thought, looking at Jaeshan’s Pokemon. When she saw Keegan’s Pokemon she nearly squeaked with excitement - it was an extremely adorable Vulpix! Riza took her Pokedex out of her bag to scan the other Pokemon, much less impressed by it. “What is up with all the fire-types?” she asked quietly, shaking her head as she put it back in its pocket, watching the exchange of attacks with semi-interest. She didn’t have much reason for not liking fire Pokemon, other than the fact that they were strong against one of her favourite types. Sneasel, on the other hand, didn’t seem to be bothered by all the fire that was around, and instead began to dig in the sand at Riza’s feet, using her ice ability to freeze clusters of it.

M.A. let out a long, contented sigh, either oblivious to the ruckus that Daemyn and Tora were creating or simply resigned to the fact that these two would never get along quietly. The Houndour had far too hot of a temper, and Tora had far too much of a lust for a fight, and that was that. How they ever connected with pacifist M.A. was beyond her.
Meanwhile, M.A. started to love the pull and release of the tide; it felt so nice! Gee, she loved this ocean. Too bad she hadn't seen very much of it. Not too far away, M.A. curiously saw that one chick -- Riza, was it? -- and her Pokemon making ice of the water. What a pretty Ice-type. If she had her Pokedex she'd look it up. So distracted was she by her harmless observations that a huge wave was able to creep up on her and knock her legs right over her head.
Daemyn, being the overly protective one, went into a frenzy when M.A. disappeared, running out into the water then running back when he realized he couldn't swim for anything! When she resurfaced nearby, the tide having brought her closer to shore, she spluttered with laughter. The Houndour literally tackled her to the sandy floor, licking her salty face. "I'm fine!" she coughed, batting away his tongue. "Now get off of me! I gotta fix my bottoms..."
Knowing that his trainer was alright, the pup sulkily stalked out of the water. Dangerous stuff it was. He didn't like it one bit. So he sat down next to Ulani, who was attempting to put sunblock on herself, although all she succeeded in was making herself albino.
Tora, having stopped her mischief when her trainer pulled her magic trick and disappeared, saw her monkey competitor from the other night, the one who had eaten more than she had. Charging through the water and stopping only a hairs' breadth from colliding into Robin, she greeted Luffy with a trumpetting sound. Hullo, hullo! This was a monkey to be reckoned with, Tora thought with much respect. No one could eat more than he could!
Not too far away, the brunette regained her composure, stealthily fixing her suit under the water, then waved cheerily at Robin.

Crenu had no proof that these were the guys he was looking for, so he decided to hide in the crowd and listen to them for a while. But as soon as he got into a good position they got up and moved together towards the beach, pushing each other around and bumping into angry pedestrians as they forced their way through. Crenu followed again staying a few feet behind, catching sentence fragments that didn't appear to have anything to do with his mission. As he watched what looked like the most reserved of the group hanging in the middle he saw a shorter guy put an arm around his neck and grin as he spoke. It was to noisy to tell, but Crenu could have sworn he heard the word "Tauros." Sticking with his lead he followed them onto the beach, staying farther away now and walking at an angle from them to avoid being sighted now that the crowd was thinning into the open beach. When one of the guys glanced back Crenu decided to lay in the sand and pretend to take a nap, he was going to have to change tactics. He wasn't going to be able to get close enough to hear anything, so he thought of a new strategy. He was going to wait for them to come to a stop so he watched them from his less than ideal post. As they got out of sight he got up to find them again, he wasn't surprised to see them gawking at a girl who was hiding in the water and some other girls who were close by.
"Dude did you see that!? I think her bottom almost came off!" The shorter one was pointing at the water grinning as two of his friends watched laughing with him.
"Pfft, forget that bean pole, I'm more concerned with those two...nice." The more reserved guy said as he stared at a blond and red head. He was taller than the other guys by a little, about the same height as Crenu, with black hair and a more on the muscular side.
As Crenu got closer he recognized two of the girls they were staring at. The one in the water who was apparently trying to avoid embarrassment was M.A. without a doubt, and the red head with the Aipolm he had met they previous night. What was it, Robin? But the blond he did not know yet, not that it mattered really. He had a job to do and he knew how to approach these guys. The leader might not have been that easy to interrogate, but the others seemed stupid enough to let info slip if asked right. Walking up to them he started to look around before starting the conversation. "Hey guys, you seen a little twerp with a baby Tauros round here? I'm thinkin bout taking it off her hands." As he said this he grinned as stupidly as he could, hoping the dumber ones would bite.
The moment he mentioned the Tauros the leader tore his gaze from Robin and her friend and eyes Crenu suspiciously, but the other three started laughing. The shorter one chuckled stupidly as he spoke. "If you're planning on jacking that girl for her Tauros, Jet here beat ya to it. That little baby was helpless, you shoulda seen her cry when we-"
"That's enough moron! Who told you to open your fat mouth?" Jet cut him off angrily and stepped over to the blond kid. "Get lost, we don't know anything about a Tauros. But I do know you've been following us from the market, so who the hell are you and what do you want with us?
"Heh, no point in hiding it anymore, dumb flunkies may be obedient but still not as bright as you want them to be. I'll be straight with you, I'm here for the Tauros. Hand over the pokeball or I'll take it, it's that simple." As Crenu said this he tossed two pokeballs out in front of him, Poliwag and Larvitar taking shape side by side as the white light vanished and the pokeballs bounced back into Crenu's hands. This wasn't going to be a fair fight, but he couldn't command more than two pokemon at a time effectively so they would have to do. He just hoped that not all of these punks had pokemon.
"Heh, you're a funny guy. Take this joker out!" With that Jet's goons got into position and threw out their own pokemon. The short one sent out two pokeballs, but the other two only sent out one each. "To bad you two only have one pokemon, guess this 'll only be a small massacre." Jet grinned as he backed up a bit but remained in the area. He wasn't going to run away or anything, no way the blond kid was gonna come on on top of a four on two.
One after another the four pokemon took shape as Crenu watched. One was a bulky yellow pokemon with hands that looked like black boxing gloves, the other was small blue bird with a white belly and a red crest. The two that the short guy sent out were a big purple both with green wings and a light blue insect with no legs and two big antenna that resembled Noctowl eyes. "Damn, Larvitar give yourselves some cover with a Sand Storm! Poliwag stay close to Larvitar for now!" Larvitar immediately threw a hand up in the air and the sand below them started to swirl around, making a big cloud of sand that concealed them for the time being. Not all attacks had to be used offensively, and without a smokescreen using pokemon this was the next best thing with all the sand the beach had to offer. Damn, this isn't going to be easy. I'm glad the other two goons didn't have more than one pokemon, but four on two still isn't good. And it doesn't help any that I have no idea what what these pokemon are nor what they can do....

Robin was unaware of people were staring at her and continued to play around in the water using Brook as a surprisingly good flotation device. Brook was surprisingly happy since he got to see all the lovely legs of the nearby ladies when he was under water. On her shoulder Luffy was just splashing around happily but he refused to actually go in the water. Above them Razputin was buzzing around very much enjoying doing sharp turns to avoid trainers and waves crashing on him. Overall they were having fun until Tora decided to almost crash into Robin. Robin let out a loud screech of surprise and fell back into the surf. Spluttering a bit Robin stared with wide eyes at Tora for a second before she grinned nervously. "Ahaha... Hello Tora was it?"
On her shoulder Luffy let out his own cry of surprise, now his fur was wet, which wasn't a pleasant feeling but that strange huge nosed pokemon was back. Also it looked like her back would be drier then Robin's shoulder. Making a quick decision Luffy jumped off of Robin's shoulder to land on Tora's back. He gave her a chattering hello and held onto the wild pokemon so he wouldn't fall off.
Seeing M.A. wave at her from a bit father Robin picked herself up and made sure she was on steady feet before glancing down at Luffy who was now on Tora's back. "Umm, Luffy be good ok?" She could only hope he would at least try to stay out trouble. Picking up her makeshift flotation device, aka Brook, she made her way over to M.A. "Hello having fun at the beach?" She was still a bit nervous but M.A. was probably the person she felt most comfortable with, other then Luffy and Ampersand that is.

M.A. heard laughing from somewhere, but there was laughter all about; thus she suspected little, and her focus was only on her red-headed friend who was coming by, her lovable red plush of a Pokemon accompanying her. "Sorry about Tora!" she grinned as she stood back up, a bit sheepish now -- really, her Pokemon were always reckless, she was rather accustomed to apologizing for them. "And I loove this!" she said, waving a hand idly over the surf and sand all around them. "It's gorgeous out here, don't see why I didn't go to the beach more with the family." A touch of nostalgia breezed through her as she realized that she really had no idea where her parents and brother were. Well, she vaguely knew that her parents were attending to some science business or whatever, and that Sae was spending some romantic time with his fiance as he foretold, but it still felt odd to be so independent of them after having them perennially in her life for the last, oh, fifteen years? "How's life treating you?" she returned, patting Brook on the head fondly, tottering a little bit with the next wave. Oh, he was adorable, absolutely adorable.
Tora trumpeted in an energetic hello, and deciding that maybe she'd give her possibly new friend a good time, began to buck and charge around recklessly, not exactly bright enough to understand that she might be giving Luffy a hard time of hanging on. But heck, the monkey probably could stick on anything like glue. Avoiding a near collision with some unaware beach-goers, Tora continued running out, not exactly realizing they were going out too deep when her momentum slowed and she realized that uh, she wasn't exactly running on sand no more. And so she followed the natural direction of a boulder in any body of water -- down! The two submerged like a rock for just a second until...
Suddenly, both Tora and her passenger were picked up a side-winding surfer (much as much to his surprise as theirs'). The tanned fellow, in his astonishment, toppled off, leaving the two to their own devices.
Meanwhile, Daemyn and Ulani, far away back at shore, had their attention riveted to this battle nearby with Crenu, that one guy M.A. knew. Hey, now, that didn't seem fair! Four on two? And those trainers didn't look like they had any harmless battling-for-fun intentions! They sounded like bad people, malicious tones clearly in their voices. Upon Ulani's insistence, the two trudged toward their trainer's acquaintance, stopping finally at his side, where Daemyn barked intrudingly to announce their presense; he looked on curiously at the battle, or at least what he could see of it due to the Sandstorm, suddenly lusting to fight himself, and fight anyone. Ulani (a little red due to over-exposure in the sun already) plopped lightly until Crenu's head, chirping as if to say, "Well, we'll help if ya need it!"

Robin had never been to the beach before, her family couldn't afford to go. Still she was enjoying herself and it seemed like her pokemon were to, well she didn't know it but Brook was being a perv about it. The little Hoppip was very happy to be near the pretty girl with the nice long legs. "It is very nice here. I have never been to the beach before, I think I might make a few more trips after this. That is if my pokemon want to come." She giggled slightly before looking back over at M.A. "I hope its treating me pretty well. My friend came back, even if it just seems like he wants to sleep. How about you?"
Luffy laughed as he held onto the wild Tora as they careened around the beach. He wasn't all to happy when she started going into the deeper water though. Doing his best he tried his best to stay on her and still as dry as possible. It was not to be though because suddenly he found himself under the water. Blinking wide eyes a few times Hat floating above him still attached by the string. It was strange seeing the bottom half of people, he could also see a few water type pokemon swimming around, they looked kind of tasty to.
Before he could think more on that he was suddenly swept up onto a board with Tora. He let out a small cry of surprise when he found himself on the cool board thing with some strange guy. The guy didn't stay on for very long though and so now it was just Luffy and Tora. Shaking himself in order to get rid of the water in his fur he straightened Hat before moving to the tip of the board. It was so cool! They were zooming all down the waves and it was so cool! Looking back at Tora he gave her a big grin and did a happy little dance.
Above them Raz flew through the sky happily, there was a bunch of Wingulls and they were fun to chase. None of them were to happy with him but none of them could catch him either. He was to fast for them and so he was just bugging them. Letting out a small cry he did a few flips into a group of Wingulls startling them. Most of them just tried to ignore him but one of them was fed up. The Wingull decided to give chase to Razputin and soon there was a sky war going on above the beach.

Kasiya waved goodbye to Robin and Luffy, hoping that she'd get to talk to them again soon. The Aipom was incredibly cute, and Kasiya couldn't help but wonder where Robin had met it. I wouldn't mind catching one of those, she thought. But then again, there were a lot of Pokemon that Kasiya wouldn't mind catching.
"Shocker?" Kasiya called again, looking around intently for signs of her Raichu. She stared at the mobs of people all around her, almost wishing she had Fang with her. The Crobat did make a pretty good scout... that is when he remembered what it was he was supposed to be searching for. A sudden commotion down the beach caught Kasiya's attention just then, and without even thinking about it she made her way towards it. That's definitely a Sandstorm, she thought, momentarily forgetting that she was searching for Shocker. At first she couldn't see very much, just a whirling tornado of sand, but every now and then she would catch a glimpse of the Pokemon confined within it. She didn't recognize them all but she did think she saw a Taillow, Makuhita, Larvitar and Poliwag, the other two she couldn't identify. By her count there were six all up, and very quickly Kasiya realized that it was three trainers versus one. Her sense of injustice flared and she glanced over to where the lone trainer stood. He was staring into the sand with the coldest gaze Kasiya had ever seen, but that did not deter her. "Hey!" she shouted, vaguely recognizing Ulani and Daemyn nearby, "need help?" She moved a bit closer while trying to keep her distance from the swirling sands. Even though she had far more skin exposed now then the last time she was faced with a Sandstorm, she wouldn't let it stop her from helping someone who was in trouble.
=-=-=-=-= Combusken was so busy trying to dish out some hurt to the Vulpix that she didn't even see the Ember attack coming her way until the flames blasted her in the face. She cried out, stumbling back a few feet and swiping at the air with her claws. It hadn't really hurt that much, it was more of the fact that it had caught her by surprise.
Jaeshan sighed and slapped his forehead with a palm. Luckily Keegan and Helios weren't going all out against them otherwise this could end pretty badly. "Combusken!" he shouted, his voice loud and firm. "Calm yourself down and use Focus Energy!"
Breathing heavily, Combusken continued to backpedal from Helios. She let her arms fall to her sides and she took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Her body began to glow as she mentally and physically prepared herself for battle.

Combusken certainly is a spirited Pokemon, Keegan thought, scratching his chin. Jaeshan was right though - she certainly did need to learn to control her temper during battle. The redhead thought for a moment, but then smiled. "Let's give them a taste of your Flamethrower," he said calmly, hoping that Jaeshan would try to get Combusken to dodge.
That was more like it! Helios planted his feet firmly in the sand and inhaled deeply, summoning the fiery energy from within before he opened his mouth and sent a stream of flames towards Combusken.
I hope this isn't overdoing it, Keegan thought, even though he couldn't help but watch the flames with admiration.
