(Make sure to reread that post I made before, I edited)

After he had been caught Raine tried to focus, he knew he had really bad luck when it came to just about everything but he really hard to try. Keeping his eyes on the log. Raine took careful steps testing the log before he put his full weight down. With Xen and Kimiko's help this was easy enough and soon they were more than halfway across the tree. He smiled as he saw the end coming closer. "And yeah, I could survive that. I've had worse, trust me."

(:O I should have just had him learn chakra control right there anyway I'm sorry I have to go crying I'll try an be on before 6 but from 6-9 tonight I've got art if you'll be on after than it's on. Super sorry, won't be this busy tomorrow.) Raine managed to get farther now, the end of the log was just ahead of of them. "Well, that's the end." he pulled his hands from Xen's elbows and hopped off the log, his feet thumping with the soft ground. "Sorry guys, I promise I won't be so bad now. I really will." He wasn't just promising them, he promised himself, he had to make it up to them. "Let's go!" He turned looking up ahead there was a small path, probably made by animals. It would work to get them through though.

Raine walked for a while, it only took a few minutes to reach their next obstacle it seemed. There was a rope wrapped neatly and laid next to a small cliff. Raine stepped forward and realized that this cliff wasn't just smal, it was at least 30 feet high and they were on an over hanging ledge.

Xen looked over it was a surveying eye. 'We could probably easily just scale this with chakra control, but then Raine would have quite bit of fall before him.' The Maboroshi turned to Kimiko "Momoe-san do have a rope in that trusty pack of yours?"

Kimiko blinked turning her gaze from the valley before them to her rival. "Huh?" she registered his question "Oh, hold on lemme check..." she fiddled about in her pack just behind her, finally springing a grin "Oh! My mom must have packed some." She withdrew the curled up bundle. "But I don't trust my skills with rope to-"

"Naturally..." Xenon took the rope from her hands his face even. With a quick toss of the rope, he let one end fall the base of the steeps decline, his eyes searching about for a sturdy place to it tie down... Finding a nearby stone that served well enough, he secured their way down rather quickly, his nimble fingers used to tying string during his thinking exercises, and rope not being all too different. After testing it with a few tugs he got back to his feet, holding the rope as he followed it to the cliff's edge. "Let's go then." He slid down, sliding down the rope, using the chakra in his feet to control the speed at which he fell by causing friction.

Kimiko gave a quick little nod of confirmation, seizing the rope and climbing down after him, her arms more than enough to support her own weight. She looked back up with a spirited expression, eager to see what awaited them next "Come on Raine!" she hopped off the rope at the Bottom, Maboroshi standing by already, his eyes casting about the area around them...

Devadas decided to keep up with what he had been doing before. After all he was trying to improve his dexterity. He pushed himself off the roof with his arm and then tried to flip through the air onto the ground. Of course it was about ten feet down, and most likely dangerous to attempt. At the same time it was most likely worth it in the long run. There was no reward without a bit of risk involved. Devadas quickly considered the insanity of what he was doing, but it was too late now. He was too busy acting in the moment to be interested in anything else. It was times like these that made Devadas wonder if he was making the right choices in his life.

Unfortunately Devadas couldn't land correctly and only managed to stumble forward and collapse onto the ground. After checking to make sure that he hadn't broken anything significant, he stood up and decided to continue his training, since he was in no way a quitter. Even though he was in pain, it didn't do him any good to stop just because of a little pain. He stretched a bit before taking off towards the nearest tree. He might as well continue where he left off before as long as he was doing acrobatics again. It may be redundant, but you had to do something for hours upon hours a day in order to become really good at it. Ariel acrobatics was something that Devadas really wanted to become good at. There was no better test of bravery than risking one's life flying through the air.

Yet again Devadas found himself becoming increasingly intimate with the ground. As he pondered why the ground was becoming increasingly vertical, his face hit the ground. The idea of flying through the air made him question the sanity of what he was doing. Not that being a religious worshiper or a ninja made him sane in any sense of the word. But being a pacifist in a group of blood-thirsty psychopaths did make him more than crazy. At least if one of them killed him he could meet his god faster. Although most people would want to avoid their own mortality, for Devadas it was a constant companion. As he pulled himself off the ground and set off running, he wondered what his life would have been like if he hadn't gone the path he was currently on. Sadly it was too late to change now.

Raine gazed down at the river below them. This was going to be great. Smiling he grabbed stepped forward grabbing the rope, he stopped. Looking back at the rope on the ground Dash must have meant them to use it, and since Kimiko had used hers it might come in handy. Quickly he dropped it down to the others. Following behind, his hands burning as he slid down, not bothering to slow down too much. He didn't mind the pain.

Standing with his team mates Raine looked out over the water. Sure he could probably make it, but he was strong. He had lifted hundreds of pounds of rocks, just to be strong. "Guys, can you make this? I mean well it's pretty rough water and if one of us goes down than we are out a few flags, and who knows if one of us could risk coming after one of us."

Failure seemed to be following Devadas around as of late. Or at least that's what he thought of his luck as of late. If only he could manage to do something right for once. With his options running out, he kissed the skull around his neck and gave a silent prayer for luck. He would have to make it up to his god later for all the favors he had been asking for as of late. Nonetheless he really did need help. This at least seemed like a reasonable way to change the direction he was going in. Pulling himself off the ground, he ran towards another tree. He would get off the ground even if it killed him. Unfortunatly if his luck continued this way he really would die from this training.

As the world began to spin along with Devadas he extended his arms to use another tree as a form of slingshot. In the air he felt free, unshackled from the confines that gravity imposed on him. Perhaps he should take up climbing next? With nothing stopping him now, attempted another back flip in the hopes of accomplishing something else. It didn't matter if anyone saw him as long as he was riding high. Devadas knew there were other people in the forest. Perhaps they would find him sometime in the future. It wasn't really a big concern for him unless they were all looking for a fight. It was the last thing Devadas really wanted, but young ninjas always seemed to want to show off physically. It was if someone above them would praise them like a handler praises a dog, and they would eagerly bask in the false praise. The only praise Devadas needed was the praise of his god.

Yet again Devadas slammed into the ground like a lead balloon. It seemed that no matter how hard he tried he would never break free from the ground. It was a depressing concept to be confronted by your natural limits. That didn't stop him from trying of course, but now he just needed to figure out a way to make himself better. Even if he had a while to train, an enemy could come out of nowhere and destroy him. His weakness appalled him and Devadas spent many a sleepless night performing rituals to gain the favor of his god. In his heart he knew he had a place after his death, even if that meant he had to suffer in this life. Beat up but undefeated, Devadas got up and took off towards another tree. He had to feel that rush he got when flying again, even if it drove him insane.

Devadas was beginning to get angry again. His lack of ability was a backhand slap to the face that made him want to rip trees out of the ground. Luckily for the surrounding area he lacked that form of strength. As he pulled himself off the ground he decided he needed a new way to train. As he stretched he looked for the tree that he had left his imprint in before. After a few minutes he found is and went a few meters away from it. Whirling around Devadas began sprinting towards it. As he jumped and front flipped through the air he tried to spring off the tree the way a tree-frog jumped off a leaf. Even if his bodily structure was completely wrong for that kind of activity he had no choice but to keep working. It would pay off eventually, or it would send him to the fiery depths of hell.

When his feet hit the tree they slipped off and he went head first into it. As he fell back he gazed at the sun as it moved over head. Why was this causing him so much pain? He had been able to do it before, but now it just made him suffer. As he stood, Devadas wondered what great sin he had committed that was causing his ineptitude. As he wiped the small amount of blood off his forehead he went back to where he had been before. He wouldn't change his tactics this time; instead he would stick with it until it worked. If it worked before it would work now, and only the failure to believe in his god would ruin him. But as he cracked his neck he silently swore to complete this task as proof of his devotion. Nothing could possibly get in his way now.

As he flew through the air Devadas grinned wildly. The pure adrenaline rush that he got was worth every drop of blood that he shed. Everyone had a vice of some form, and it appeared that adrenaline was his. In the long run it wasn't as bad as alcohol or drugs, and as long as no one else got hurt everything was cool. Devadas tried yet again to back flip through the air. It seemed that the most basic of aerial maneuvers was causing him to suffer more than ever. If he could master it, it would mean that he could move on to far more complicated and far more exhilarating tricks. Just the thought of what was possible made Devadas' blood boil. This was truly what it meant to be free.

Yet again he failed to perform the back flip, but he tried to salvage it by twisting sideways towards a nearby branch. As long as he stayed in the air he wasn't a complete failure. Devadas silently wished he had someone to compete against. It was always more fun if someone was trying to outdo you. The pure competitive spirit drove people to amazing lengths and their bodies were able to perform amazing feats of strength and speed. If he was able to draw out that raw natural power, an exercise such as this would be a trivial matter at best. Still, it only made sense to work for what you wanted, so much the sweeter the prize when you attained what you wanted.

Using his unusually lanky arms, Devadas was able to swing himself upwards again using a branch that he had managed to catch onto. At least he didn't look like a complete fool out here. Not that there was anyone out here to make him look like that anyway. Yet he had another opportunity to try the back flip he had been going for earlier, and so Devadas used his forward momentum to swing his legs in front of him, as he tucked himself into a ball. The world began to spin faster as he increased the speed at which he rotated. What he was doing would either look really cool or potentially get him sent to the hospital. Either way it was too late to turn back now.
