Did a quick stint with the 4th Armored Division, up north in Saint-Lambert-sur-Dives. *He puffed out a cloud of cigar smoke, then sipped his beer*

Darlin' that whole war was a rough tour of duty. *He swishes his beer slightly* Some of the things from that war make me wish my memory was still wiped. *Sniffs indifferently and shrugs* Then again, knowin' those things sure make it a lot easier to know how things add up. So...meh.

It mighta been rough, but you n' yours saved a lot of innocent people. Flyin' with Blackhawk and his team, I saw a lot of things I won't ever forget. A lot of terrible things.
But I saw my share of miracles, too, out there. And I won't forget those, either.
