Satoshi shrugged "Maybe so dear but you forget I can just totally cheat with a little bit of teleportation. Though I will take you up there in the daytime since the cliff tops make for some really good views and sunbathing spots. It's where I used to go to keep to myself and draw most of my pictures when at home. Though if we're all in the dark we would have been in a way private" she laughed pulling open the door for Itaka "Now help me find everyone, it's so much more crowded than usual" she frowned seeing just how many people were happy to stand around with the fully occupied seats.

Corella smiled jumping in before Elorin eager to be helpful "Well in the morning, though not too early, we light the beacon at the temple to mark the start of the festival and then there will be some musical entertainment. Then dancing and fireworks in the evening. I could give you a copy of the festival programme if you want to see specific events"

Felina nodded "Yes please theres some really cool unique events that are different every year. Like last time I celebrated here there was a really cool jousting tournament and a really lovely play about warriors saving the beautiful princess Serah from the hands of of an evil former knight of the castle" she fondly recalled. "And then at the end of the festival before the beacon was put out dad summoned Bahamut!"

Seph shighed shuffling back to the kitchen "Its still kind of a shame because I was just starting to get comfortable but first thing we do is to get all the veg out and to turn on your stove. And if you have any meat or rice toss it over to make a good filling" she instructed washing her hands in the sink "I'm going to show you how to make a real good soup"

Alpha chuckled shaking his head "Maybe not tonight but we'll be flying you home at night time anyway. Meaning before you go back you'll be able to look at the pretty sky from the airship up close" he assured them.

Amane smiled barely taking on the information "Ooh thats cool then thanks though it sounds like a cool ability to have just to make the stars that little bit closer to see but why would they be explosive?" she wondered a little confused.

Hebal giggle hiding her surprise that Amane hadn't learned about the sky much in school "Well its because they are really really hot and comets would be travelling really really fast so when they hit stuff it makes a lof of damage and would really hurt. I think Sephy could show you or at least explain better how it works

Oassu smiled "Sure can get the tickets if you like, though what elves are you getting in who do jousting anyway, it's not exactly done here, need a lot of room to create a jousting stadium don't you?" he asked "Though since you brought it up what does count as an elven sport?" he asked.

Gil chuckled "What kinda training does he do up there, plenty of good training to be had in mountains but nevermind." he said flushing uncomfortably as a couple of buxom ladies squeezed past him on the way to the bar "The women here are all rather....ample" he whispered to Satoshi "It's sort of uncomfortable" he said keeping an eye out for his drinks aware of a couple of people looking at his unusual figure.

Itaka chuckled "Well we can always go back to it, just my stomach was rumbling" he said wrapping his arms around Seph and spooning her as she washed her hands "And hey I thought you were gonna do all the soup making, I can make soup but you are the master supposedly" he chuckled kissing her neck slightly.

Zadina frowned pulling out his spellbook and flicking through "I only ever used this spell once but since you are interested" he said muttering a small spell from the book he held out his hand causing a spectral telescope to appear "There's a whole bunch of people dedicated to studying stars I think but this is a little tool for seeing things far away, it'll only be around for a couple minutes so use it now if you wanna see the stars further away" he said handing it up to Amane

Elorin shrugged cutting himself off a slice of pork "We have pleanty space in the city to make a small arena for jousting since its not an activity that requires much space. Also I think you forget just how spread out and varied elves are for Mineerin has a massive elven population and since the incident with Agralia, many of the elves from that area moved south into the safety of Mineerin" he explained.

"Yeah they did the park up all Mineerin style for the tournament but sport is a funny one with is. Like archery is our 'national' sport which you probably already know and then different areas tend to do different activities. Like here the main sports are archery, hunting, climbing and swimming. But the elves on the Agralian continent like to do athletics. The elves from the snowy areas like to skate and while I dont know much about the elves from the desert, according to Hayate they like gymnastics and free running" Felina informed Oassu thinking out of all the sports mentioned, the only one she would enjoy would be the archery.

Satoshi frowned putting an arm around il "Hey, relax a little as we'll be going outside soon and getting some good old space and fresh air. This place is only so full because of the festival and lack of missions over it" she assured him trading her money for the newly arrived drinks. "There we go now follow me and help me look" she added leading him through the crowd to a door at the side failing to notice her Hitomi waving to her in the corner of the outside yard.

Alpha chuckled putting a hand on Zadina's shoulder "Very soon kid, we were going to go there straight away but how about we let Amane have this little moment since it seems like a big deal for her seeing such a clear sky for the first time. Probably making important childhood memories here" he whispered.

Hebal smiled glad Amane was having fun "Well Im sure you passed your little white mage exam with flying colours and your black mage one too because from what I heard you've always been really clever at spells and way ahead of all the other kids" she praised him, about to say something else until a sudden sqeal from Amane who was pointing proudly at the stars she pointed out earlier. "Well done that was an easier one, now maybe... why not try looking for the stars shaped like a dragon now hehe"

Seph smiled pulling the ingredients out the fridge "Im sure theres a lot of places you can put your hands, can always show me later" she flirted back tossing an apron over Itaka's head. "Well dear you could maybe chop some carrots or cucumber to start with, nice and easy job to start with.

Gil blushed slightly returning the kiss "Well now no shame in keeping me to yourself" he said sitting down with a smile "Hey Hitomi, I don't know why he'd be fretting over that, I'm hardly a 'big' celebrity, some would simply call me a dog of war" he shrugged taking a drink from Satoshi "What did you order by the way?" he asked uncertain as to what drink she'd gotten him.

Oassu shrugged "Well maybe I can see some in Mineerin sometime, if we get the chance" he said sighing happily "It's nice having all this food on offer for once" he said going for some pork and potatos with stuffing "Though thinking about it you're totally right about how we've been eating rather extravagantly lately" he said.

Zadina giggled "Well done Amane though I still can't quite see the starsigns" he said wishing he could make sense of it "I hear some children in heavily populated cities like Goug and Agralia get like this as well because the sky is obstructed by buildings and the like" he said hopping with excitement as he spied the fire eater leaving the tent through the back entrance.

Itaka sighed "Fine fine if you like," he said reaching up and taking down a large knife comically modified after a big sword before slicing into the cucumber "Hope there's some meat for the soup, never really had cucumber soup before" he said.

Felina nodded checking up briefly on Cid munching away "We were treat well in Kunec though it is probably not food that I would want again for quite a while. A lot of the food was just so... eggy and the rest was a bit to tender for my liking meat wise. But... I can't skate so i'm not sure about that activity" she added.

Elorin chuckled not surprised "Well pleanty people can't skate properly which is why theres also some people there to help anyone out. It's just a case of balence. Though I must say I'm glad you're taking care of yourself and making sure you're well fed. You should do that for the times when you don't have much food around and so the damage is lessened"

Satoshi snickered picturing the scene "Oh its just a glass of wine, should be slightly fruity and like strawberries. But Ranmaru is one of the few people here who knows who you are and was pretty keen on meeting you last time we spoke. He's a bit shy with new people as is let alone famous people" she explained.

Hitomi leaned forward giving Satoshi's drink a small sniff "Yep smells like strawberries and black current though don't recognise the drink. I'm not allowed anything alcoholic" she added with a sigh. "And all of us have the same profession really so its only natural you would get more respect than with the average bunch of people"
