"It wasn't me who told father, I might had been pushed into telling Elithana but not anyone else" Corella mumbled hiding the fact she was just as surprised as Oassu by almost staring at her plate of food and avoiding eye contact.

Elorin paused waiting for Oassu to recover and for Felina to pick up her jaw "Oassu, I've known right since we had our first encounter at Skear's peak based on Hayate's original report. Then I found it somewhat amusing seeing you try to come up with a cover up story. Truth be told if I had not known then the task I had set for you may have been easier. I thought that it would be a good way to prove how... committed you are" he truthfully replied noticing the sigh of relief coming from Felina.

Satoshi nodded "Yeah my teacher... as bad a person as he turned out to be in the end. He did look after us when we were in his care and most of that night consisted of him having to give me the most unpleasent of treatments to get them out my system faster" she shuddered almost skipping past the better smelling resturants. "Almost there, might be able to see it now since the dragon festival is probably the only time of the year when the village has any lights on at all during the night. Makes it harder for anyone trying to ambush us at night in a pitch black area."

"Does Zadina plan on trying his luck at being a mime then? Or are you just hoping he can help you remember your spells better so you can remember everything in that little spellbook of yours" Amane asked with a small laugh.

Hebal nodded moving aside for Jeckhart "Yeah you go out and enjoy your holiday instead of thinking about work all the time. And I bet Kimino and Anakuda are kicking back getting ready to enjoy the holiday season too"

Seph snickered gently running her fingers down Itaka's chest "Im surprised anyone actually bothered to steal paintings still. From what I've heard they are nearly impossible to fence and the more well known the painting is the harder it is to find someone with the guts to buy it and moreso to hang it up somewhere. Though I bet you wouldnt say no to obtaining some signed ultiman pictures if they were to accidentally be stolen by a guild member"

Gil chuckled "No I guess not still think Ninja's of all people have the advantage in the dark and this place is kinda well hidden even without light don't you think?" he said "Wasn't really easy getting in after all" he said.

Oassu sighed wondering how obvious it was "Well I'm hardly a thief anymore, apparently I'm classed as a ninja now anyway though I'm surprised that all these people knew, hardly told them a thing anyway and I'm surprised Elithana didn't do anything about it" he said

Zadina blushed a little "My spellbook serves a practical purpose but you can't learn to be a mime, it's an innate ability some people are born with no one knows the source of it, all we really know is it's not genetic so I'm just curious since it's quite a strong power" he said.

Itaka shrugged "Well my guild prefers bigger heists like vaults and stuff and sometimes they have these in them so nothing really to do but keep them" he shrugged "And don't tease me like I'm some kid I know ultiman don't exist silly" he chuckled taking hold of Seph's hand and giving it a little squeeze.

Elorin nodded "You can thank Udoaver for that one because before she went to Kunec she gave a good long rant about how she could have sent a few people to beat you about a little. But he seemed to say something to calm her down a little"

Corella nodded her head "Yeah I remember that outburst. You were lucky dad got her to keep her mouth shut and mum was away out gettin a check up. I'm sorry though, it was my fault she found out" she very quietly added avoiding eye contact.

Felina sighed moving straight on to a chicken leg for the next part of her meal "Don't worry about it ok. I'm just glad things are working out and relieved Elithana was civil to us in Kunec. I think she's warming a little to Oassu" she optimistically stated.

"Yes well... that remains to be seen but I do have other news for you too on a less intense matter" Elorin cleared his throat. "I spoke to Nares earlier on about the centaurs in Yithra forest and we agreed that if you didn't mind the early start and missing some of the warm up celebrations for the festival then your welcome to go and investigate with her if your still interested."

Satoshi paused thinking things over a moment "Well I see your point but in terms of darkness, ninjas against ninjas are pretty matched but only when both sides are familiar with the area. Familiarity helps in darkness and so because of the lights thats a slight advantage to the home side should someone try and sneak in"

Seph shrugged nuzzling Itaka's face with her horns "Well thats fine by me. The better thieves tend to be incredibly annoying and cocky and seem to think they are better looking than they areocky and seem to think they are better looking than they are. And guys like Oassu, well they just aren't my type. But your right two demon brothers wrote the ultiman series. I met them once when in the war. Even famous people faced conscription"

Alpha scratched his chin a little disappointed by his answer "Don't be so quick to dismiss the idea of magic and machinery, a good firespell on the airship can keep it going twice as fast and I hear thunder spells can have a big effect on machines too"

Amane smiled and let out a small cheer watching and applauding the rainbow "Yeah thats the sort of spell I like to look at and apparently some summons can even produce rainbows when they appear so one day I'll return the favour and entertain you" she promised.

Hebal paused resisting the urge to leap into the centre ring now almost everyone had left the tent "Well what if you keep doing the spell like every half a day or something would that stop the effects wearing off. I just remember the dark association used to talk about things like love potions and the like and to be honest some of them were so mean and ugly nobody would like them any other way hehe"

Oassu frowned "Well we're pretty experienced adventurers now, she'd be in good hands could treat it as an act of trust or another test if you like, you know neither me or Felina would allow anything to happen to her" he said spying the disappointed look on Corella's face as he poured hismelf a glass of Elven wine "After all it'll be hard to guarantee when the centaurs will be in the forest again" he said.

Gil chuckled "Sure, travelling in the wilderness you don't exactly have the benefits of streetlights, if you're lucky the moon will be full so it'll be no hassle but i've ate plenty of Carrots so got my nightvision good by this point" he said.

Itaka nodded kissing Seph's horns as they passed "Yeah Oassu's a bit like that but the same could be said of anyone confident in their abilities I know neither you nor I are the most gracious when it comes to our sword abilities ya know?" he chuckled "Though must say I'm a bit jealous you got to meet them, lucky they both survived" he said nodding satisfactorily.

Zadina giggled "Cap'n Alpha I'm aware of some stuff like that but it hardly really helps the airship in unique ways just replacing common elements like coal or coolants but I've heard of more accidents in applying thunder to machines than successful attempts since it can be difficult to gauge and control the strength of the magic interjected into the machinery but if you like I'll see what can be done" he said sensing Alpha wanted a positive answer before he folded away the rainbow "Sure thing Miss Amane though it's not wise to keep overdoing the effects of the charm spell Miss Hebal, overuse of mental-affecting spells can result in permananent cognitive damage to the victim" he said quietly.

Felina nodded giving Corella a slight nudge of support with her foot under the table "Yeah come on why not let Corella come with us. Even if your unsure about me and Oassu going through the forest, Nares will be with us. And if anyone can keep us all safe and well it would be your second in command of the entire elven military and head ranger. We'll be fine and home in no time for the festival"

Elorin paused rubbing his chin in thought "It's not an issue of trust. I trust Felina enough that she will take care of somebody for she always does like to help people. It's just, well to be blunt your not much of a fighrer Corella. However... I wouldn't recommend telling your mother as she can do without the stress but if you go and ask Nares if you can join her and she says yes then I suppose I can reluctantly agree since its the festive season."

Corella nodded somewhat satisfied by the answer "Ok then I'll go ask her later on before she goes home for the night but I bet she'll say yes because she's really reasonable."

Satoshi snickered "Good to know your eating your carrots though its too warm around here to grow those so we don't get that advantage. Plus here, the cliffs that surround the village block out a lot of the moonlight so if its cloudy and the stars are hidden it gets a lot harder. Though if you want a nice view of the stars I know a good spot up on the cliffs for viewing them"

Seph sighed sensing Itaka was no longer comfortable "Ok then but let me help feed the chocobos too as thats usually a fun activity unlike cleaning up after their poop the next day anb we can continue" she added kissing his neck before getting up and releasing him from under her wings. "The sales dropped but the prices of the comics got cheaper too so any bought then would have been a good long term investment if one was to resell"

Alpha smiled trying not to snicker at Zadina's request "Sure I have the firepower to do something like that but not always possible when your the one that does all the steering as the engine room is quite a distence away.

Amane muttered a small "oooh" looking up towards the sky as she left "Oh wow look how dark it is out ther and... I've never seen the stars so clearly without loads of trees in the way" she gasped, completely mesmerised by the sky.

Hebal grinned reaching up and patting Amane on the back "Hehe yep, its a pretty sight to look at isnt it. And later it will be darker and full of pretty colours when the fireworks go off though you might want to put your fingers in your ears for them"
