MISSION- Poachers on the Rocks
Some poachers have upset a herd of Rhydon! The Rhydon have been attacking people and are headed for Mauville City! Stop those Rhydon before they destroy Mauville! You will fight 4 angry Rhydon.

Rhyhorn, or any non-evolved, non-legendary rock or ground type Pokemon.

“See guys! Missions are easy, let’s go do another one!” I said to my Pokemon as we walked to the message board. “Kip! Vee! Tota!” My pokemon said. “I pretended to understand them and said, “You guys want to do a harder mission?” Amazingly, I was right. They nodded and Eevee jumped and grab a three-starred mission post. “What?!?” I said as I read the piece of paper. “Come on, we’re only beginners, and we’re new too! How about a two-starred one?” I begged them. They growled and Mudkip and Totodile soaked me with Water Gun. I surrendered and started to get ready. I got my backpack on and got on my bike. I withdrew my Pokemon and started to head for the destination. While traveling, I thought about getting a Larvitar for a reward, my face brightened up after that though, then I heard a crash. We had reached Mauvile, but we saw more Rhydon than we expected!
The Sun began to set. I quickly released Eevee and Totodile. Not wanting to harm the Pokemon, I told Eevee to use growl and for Totodile to use Scary face. The Rhydon slowed down a little and became a little weaker. Then I saw the poachers, hiding up a hill. I coaxed the Rhydon to me, and withdrew Eevee and Totodile. “Hey Rhydon! Don’t you want to get revenge on the guys who disturbed you?” I said to the Rhydon as I pointed to the poachers up the hill. Almost all of the Rhydon went up the hill, and I saw the poachers running away. But four Rhydon remained. “Hey, don’tcha wanna be with your friends?”
I ‘asked’ them, but they just stood there. A few moments later, they were charging at me with their drills turning like they were a Power Drill. Because of instinct, I released Mudkip. “Mudkip, use Whirlpool!” Mudkip whipped up a spinning vortex of stinging water. It gobbled two Rhydon, but one fell because of its weight. The other one just stayed there, the water did not have enough force to pull up a Rhydon, even one that’s not large. I began to cower, until I saw the whirlpool weathering away the Rhydon. The water turned a little browner and grayer every second; soon we could not see anything. As we stared at the Dirt vortex, I realized we left ourselves open to an attack. Right after I noticed that, I looked around me and saw that a Rhydon was charging at us at our left, right, and behind us! I panicked and started to think hard. Then it came to me, “Mudkip, use protect!” Mudkip made an orb like structure around us and blocked the Rhydons’ Horn Attacks. The Rhydon slid around the orb and ran into each other. The Protect wore of, so we ran off to somewhere safe to think. I quickly remembered my first mission and what Mudkip did, and so I whispered the plan to Mudkip. I came out of my hiding place with Mudkip and told Mudkip to use Whirlpool on the Rhydon. Soon enough, there were three Vortexes turning brown. The other one had managed to get from the whirlpool and ran away. It was running up the hill, with it’s exterior being shiny and thin.
We returned our eyes to the Rhydon. We could not see them behind the vortex anymore. “Now’s the time, Mudkip!” I said to Mudkip, “Kip!” Mudkip squeaked. He Added a Water gun to the center ground between all the Rhydon and used a Mud Slap attack. The mud turned the vortexes into an almost-black color. I thought to myself, “This is too easy for a three-starred mission.” I started to think until I saw the Whirlpools; they were reversing! The Rhydons used their horns and turned it, soon the whirlpool was no more. I saw that the mud covered Rhydon, and thought once again to myself, “The sun is hot today…Oh no! The mud will harden!” I realized their defense would be stronger if the Mud turned solid, so I ordered Mudkip to use Water gun. It hit the three Rhydon that were running to us and washed off the mud. I got it off, but I had no idea how to beat them. Soon, they had reached us and we panicked. I told Mudkip to run, but there were three, he did not get away, Mudkip was hurt by the menacing Horn Drill attack. It was a 1-hit-KO attack. I withdrew Mudkip and released Totodile, seeing it had experience in fights now, it was not scared. “Totodile, use Water gun!” Totodile blasted the Rhydon with a super effective hit. The Rhydon were strong, they would not back down. “Use Dragon Claw!” Totodile clawed two Rhydon simultaneously and used both hands for the other one. The one hit twice was in pain, it released a rock blast technique from pain but instead hit the other two Rhydon. The Rhydon was an Evolution Pokemon; so it’s attack did greater damage than our water gun. The Two Rhydon got up and roared at the other one. It ran away back up the hill and then released a high-pitched roar to say it was not afraid of the other two.
The other two were tired; we had been fighting for hours. They decided to finish it off quickly; A Rhydon aimed for me and started running, stupid enough to leave Totodile. The Rhydon tricked me; it grabbed Totodile and rose up in the air, readying a seismic toss attack. The other Rhydon stayed down under the other, preparing a Horn Drill. Totodile could not hear me from up there; he had to act upon instinct. Totodile panicked, then it just focused and relaxed. It used a Hydro pump attack to the Rhydon that was holding him. The Rhydon lost focus and fell on top of the other Rhydon; it fainted from the Drill. Totodile got out of Rhydon’s arms and stood next to me. The other one was still standing. It wouldn’t give up, it was furious.
Totodile was focusing; it was about to use up all its energy. It uses a Rock Slide attack and trapped the Rhydon. Then it uses its final move: Ancientpower. Totodile closed his eyes and started to crush Rhydon between the rocks. A few moments later, Totodile opened his eyes and released the fainted Rhydon. “We won, Totodile!!!” I screamed. Soon, the people came out and celebrated. The Mayor gave me a Larvitar as a reward and some money, then I went off back to the HQ.
