Gil nodded sagely "Well that's certainly noble of him especially considering how he could have ruled the village, didn't know I was dating the daughter of such a respected town elder" he chuckled giving Satoshi a playful nudge "Man it's even warm at night here, perhaps I'll miss a bit of the snow and ice" he said.

Oassu grinned darkly having clocked the hidden weapons on the servant when he entered aware of his own concealed weapons "I don't know I'd certainly say you were perfectly capable besides eliciting help from others may count as a useful survival skill too" he said.

Itaka shrugged "Eh I imagine there's some big pay off at the end for him though Viera I've heard just keep themselves seperate from the other gender most of the time" he said finishing the count "Right lets get in and have some soup since it's getting cold" he said turning to continue the chocobo trail.

Satoshi pretended to gasp before returning the nudge with a small smirk "My dad isn't that old you know. Though apparently nobody expected somone as uptight as my dad when youner to end up with someone more free spirited like my mum and between you and me... dad wouldn't have enjoyed being leader much anyway I think" she whispered onto the end while pushing her hair our her face. "It's summer here sorry. No snow but make sure the next place is cold and you'll be just fine or you could come back here in a few months time"

Felina shook her head "That hardly counts as survival skills, that just counts towards the benefits of cooperation but I can heal myself and I have since learned how to put up a tent all by myself and how to camp out which probably counts more. And I have managed to collect a nice set of things"

Crella nodded "Yes that counts as good survival. Not the magic but the tent pitching though I don't know why anyone would choose to sleep in one of those rather than a room in a hotel or inn as it doesnt seem like a comfortable experience.

Seph laughed jumping off Chobi's back much to her pets disappointment "Hey don't give me that expression, I am capable of cooking and doing nice things for other people once in a while. And sure, send them away and let them have their fun too they'll appreciate it" she shrugged petting Chobi then Gregor "I'm assuming your staff kept your fridge well stocked otherwise its going to be a pretty dull soup and if I overdo the attention Chobi might get a bit too jealous of Gregor but i'll slip him in some extra food portions later" she whispered.

Oassu frowned as his stomach rumbled slightly "Hope it's not too much trouble for him, your little brother will have to deal with this all one day" he said thinking it was awfully rude if he was waiting just to agitate them as he released his cutlery

Gil shivered "Swimming? No thanks I've done enough of that to last me a lifetime" he said with a baneful glance at the fish in the water below "Though your mother seemed ok, her career didn't come up at all" he said moving out of the way of a drunken couple who had been out swimming that day.

Itaka sighed watching Gregor walk in circles looking at his feet emitting a small 'kweh' with each deliberate step "Sometimes I think he was dropped as an egg or a chick but you shouldn't be so favourable here, remember Chobi was raised with many of these chocobos they all see each other as equals mostly, well except for Boris but it's handy having a leader" he said petting the chocobos unaware that Irelia had flocked to Seph and was sniffing her upon hearing "extra food".

Satoshi snickered "Well ok maybe not swimming but maybe take it off to sunbathe though probably would need quite a bit of suncream on. But mums career isnt anything we would normally ask her about since its nothing new to us and I don't think you had any desire to talk about it either so I'm not complaining" she shrugged with a happy sigh as the smell of fresh food cooking nearby at some of the resturants went straight up her nose. "She keeps suggesting I should give her job ago because I apparently look right for it but I can imagine you would dislike that just as much as me"

Felina nodded listening to the footsteps she thought sounded familiar "Well hopefully the kid will take more after my grandad who was a very confident and outgoing person so had no bother making big inspirational speeches where as dad... well nobody could be as sociable as grandad. Also.." she trailed off curious as to why her father had just entered the room alone.

"Apologies for being late and unfortunately I have to inform you but Alusaadi is currently too tired to join us but sends her regards" Elorin sighed making a swift journey to his seat followed by a hoard of servants carrying over the food to the table.

Seph snickered gesturing to all the chocobos to follow her round to the warmth of the barn "Just because something is hyper and a little but silly, doesn't mean theres not a smart person under it all. Gregor might be a total chocobo geek at heart" she chuckled gently pulling the doors to a close once the last chocobo had been brought inside. "There all sorted though I must say the hay looks good for sleeping in"

Oassu smiled "How considerate to provide a little buffet for the little guy!" he said peeking under the table watching Cid pause to consider what to munch first before eventually digging into a carrot "Must say I'm not really used to such big meals, normally can't get this on the road" he said reaching out for a bowl of soup first.

Gil chuckled "Well there's always a lot to lose in a fight, how clothed you are doesn't make a difference really but travelling alone you tend to need decent equipment and my armour makes up for a lack of party members to cover other weaknesses" he said

Itaka nodded "We'll need to come back to feed them later but for now we can head in and start on the soup though do you really want to sleep on the hay?" he said confused as the chocobos all began to kweh to each other about the days events now they were home "Didn't figure you for such a nature girl then again you worked in a stable before so I imagine you had to do something like that before" he said.
