“YEAH!” I screamed as I was recruited into Team Aqua. I was thinking of all my adventures and Pokemon I’d meet. I ran around the HQ, wondering where to go. Then it hit me, missions! I went to the mission board and there was a level 1 mission that just stuck out of the others, one called ‘Birch’s First Break-in’. The mission reminded me of my all-time favorite hero, Silver! Giovanni’s son was the greatest; he’s what made me be interested in Team Aqua! I read the details and hopped on my Aqua Bike DX.
My Aqua Bike DX floated above the ground to Littleroot, which prevented roadblocks. I cut through Slateport and reached Route 103. The trainers weren’t suspecting anything so I quickly road my bike to Littleroot. As I was going through Route 101, I saw Professor Birch getting chased by a wild Zigzagoon! This would have been easier for me, until a kid named Brendan saved him. Then they went back to the lab.
The kid received a Treecko, the one I was hoping to steal, and after he left the lab, a girl named May took the Torchic! Only Mudkip was left, so I jumped from the window and hid under a computer table. The Professor sat down under a nearby computer table, blocking my way.
When the Prof. left to check on May and Brendan, I crawled under the Pokeballs’ table. A researcher heard something and checked under the computer tables. While he was looking away, I grabbed the Pokemon and crawled back to the computer tables as the researcher came to look behind the bookshelves. I quickly jumped out of the window, grabbed my bike, and ran into the forest. Right after I reached Route 101, the Pokeball popped and a furious Mudkip glared at me. Then I knew I was in for a tough battle.
“Go Eevee!” I shouted. The nearby trainers watched from behind the trees, scared of getting hurt. The Mudkip quickly used a Water Gun attack and missed Eevee. “Eevee, use Tackle.” I said, getting too cocky. I thought it would be a breeze after Mudkip’s
Mud Slap that was nowhere near Eevee, I thought it had extremely low accuracy. But it missed on purpose. Mudkip dodged Eevee and jumped behind the mud pool and used a massive Mud Slap attack! Eevee was directly hit and it’s accuracy lowered by one stage. Eevee had almost fainted, but she managed to use a Quick Attack. The attack hit the unsuspecting Mudkip and it replied with anger, Mudkip used a Whirlpool attack and mixed it with a Mud Slap. The mud-whirlpool hit Eevee and it tortured her. The pounding mud whipped Eevee with great force, stinging her every second. To top it, Mudkip added an Ice Ball attack; it smashed into Eevee’s face and made her faint. “Eevee, return!” I shouted in terror. As the flash of red absorbed Eevee, I said, “You did your best, Eevee, go rest.” The nearby trainers ran away, cowering. I released my powerhouse, Totodile, with anger, I screeched, “Use Thrash!!!” Totodile felt my anger and became in sync with me; it gained power through anger and used a whopping Thrash attack. It hit Mudkip directly and made it wriggle from pain. My anger went away and I saw what I did to Totodile, it was enraged and kept torturing Mudkip until it became confused. Mudkip just lay there, breathing heavily, and Totodile was walking into trees.
Soon, both of them recovered. Seeing that Mudkip was not hurt enough to be captured, I prepared one more move to finish it. Both pokemon stood in their battle stance. “Totodile, use Slash!” I said. Mudkip leaped up into the air and released a Stomp attack that teamed with gravity. Mudkip missed Totodile as it moved behind Mudkip. Mudkip’s attack pounded the ground like a gavel and left a tiny crater. Totodile successfully slashed Mudkip and made it faint. Totodile danced as I returned him in his ball. “Good Job, Totodile” I said while releasing Mudkip’s Poke Ball into the air. A stream of red light absorbed Mudkip and wiggled.
It moved onceIt moved once againIt rolled over, then it finally went
“Yeah! I caught Mudkip!” I shouted as I put it in my Backpack with my other two Pokemon. I went on my bike again and went off back to HQ. As I left Route 103, I heard Professor Birch’s scream. I guessed he saw that someone had stolen Mudkip. I also heard someone getting scolded; I looked back through the window and saw it was the Researcher.
I rode my bike to HQ; I right away went to the message board. Then, I stopped at the Poke-center to recover my pokemon.
