Heaving a sigh, Janani pushes the thought of not being able to help out of her mind. She has a determined look on her face as she, well, ignores Sato to talk with her friend. She knows it'll be, essentially, being rude to her, but she's more concerned with why her friend is acting so off.
Luana! We're fri...
She'd made it halfway around the bar when Luana faded... Janani sighs as her arms hold her white Cat Plushie closer. What...? What was wrong?

::Sato snorts and looks over at Janani::
Well, looks like its just me and you now, k-
::Sato stops. No way she could call someone like three times her size 'kid'. She shakes her head and pops the top off her beer::

Of course, 'kid' would be accurate. Compared to Sato, Janani hasn't even gone through adolecence, puberty, or whatever else one would call it. She just looks the age. She tilts her head to look at the woman.
Yeah... It is... What's a 'k-'?

Janani tilts her head, before bowing it slightly. She coudl be seen as showing a sliver of shame.
To you, I guess so...but I'm actually scrawny to my people...
Sighing and shaking it off, she decides to answer the question.
Well, I'm a Bind, but I'm still a child. I can't do much, yet. I guess my main responsibility is to learn about humanity and watch over Terrans until I'm ready...

She looks at Sato, then realizes the confusion.
Oh! Yeah! All inhabitants of Terra. I guess you might call it Earth. Humans, like yourself, and other beings, intelligent or animal.

Well, I'm not FROM Earth... and I hate to say it... but it looks like you guys didn't do a very good job.

Janani shakes her fingers.
No direct interferance. In a Terran versus Terran conflict, we have to allow them to work things out. If we interfered, how could humanity grow?

::At this, Sato can't help but laugh::
Right. Because there's a lot of growth to be found by killing eachother. Seems ******** fair to me.

If we interfere, we take sides. If we takes sides, Terrans die. If Terrans die...how's it fair?
Janani's confused. It seemed second nature to her. Then again...she is the Celest of the group.

Right. As opposed to not taking sides, in which case.... Terrans die. That certainly sounds much more fair.

Janani shakes her head with a slight bow. She has to sigh, though. The end of Terra meant the end of the Shards. Well...in a sense.
At some point, Terra must come to an end. It's unfortunate... Death is the ultimate equalizer.
...and it's something that no Shard could hold control of.

Janani tilts her head. Humans certainly are interesting. She knows that they can't understand the way things are. Afterall...none could understand the logic behind it. She can't even fully. With a slight sigh, she fades out.
