come play Kento the Nogitsune Meh, it's fine. I'm actually understanding it slowly. I refuse to make a post until I understand the system. Lol Wtf is WP? Depends where you are? In the system in this guild it is most likely Will Power(WP) What's the point of needing WP to seal a Bijuu? O.o

Will power rpically is the strength of your mind in a sense. since sealing a bijuu here entails you gaining one. (if you are talking about the bijuu world event). Think of the naruto world, you need some willpower just to keep a bijuu in check even when it is sealed in your body. Gaara had some serious side effects from the nightmares he got from sleeping and thus never slept. Naruto when angered could often lose control in his later years when the seal was weakened.
so in basic terms because i feel like i might end up being confusing(i often am lol):
Will(you) vs Will(bijuu) is what you are checking against when sealing... basically. 3nodding

Also, before I even begin to do anything outside of what I have done... how often is "random sustained stat boost no jutsu" used? Cause with some of the checks possible in the bijuu world event stuff it gies a very strong suggestion that the answer is gonna be "all the time". Then I wll have to say good bye cause I got done with it entirely two or three years ago when I wrote Bleach Elites off. Not to mention it doesn't seem to have a limit so far... I can get sneak jutsu, body flicker jutsu, boosts from activating bloodline limits, or for the specific point of beating system checks but please don't tell me people in here boost just to boost... as that would be terribly depressing. :/

Boost just to boost? question
EDIT: also random sustained stat no jutsu are used only when a player feels they need them. In combat they are governed by combo limits as well as chakra/fatigue usage and therefore are balanced out between other techniques the player uses. EDITEDIT: also stat boosts are limited to a max boost based on the flat stat it is boosting.
AS for the subdual process of a demon, you would be writing out roleplay as you did this not just rolling to try and get lucky on gaining a demon. Now in a technical sense that would be what you did aside from the required rp lines for specific portions of the event but as far as 'flavor' of how you obtained them it is up to you. You could have a grandiose battle flinging balls of fire and energy blasts left and right and get smashed into walls and the like, you know whatever floats your boat as far as that goes.
If you are worried about the stat system hindering you in some manner just remember that it will be more for disputes between players and otherwise control required events. I know out of the naruto(and even bleach) roleplays I've been in there was something that was always present in multitude... OP people with almost zero originality waltzing in and deciding they are the bee's knees simply because they put in their profile "I'm the most powerful shinobi(shinigami) in the world and have defeated thousands with great ease and nothing can stand before my might because my bloodline(zanpakuto) is the best and I also have a bijuu(hollow) inside me that grants my already awesomeness even more awesome." That is what we strive to avoid all the while keeping the environment enjoyable and fun. 3nodding
The stats should not drive the rp but the rp should drive the stats if that makes sense. 3nodding

No Bejew, Curzed Murk or Bloodzline a-bil-a-tea, butt eye buff up." AKA. Crap that doesn't happen in cannon without some reasoning. Eh, the whole idea of the rolling saves thing is a turn off on the Bijuu thing, So I might as well avoid it. And the limit really doesn't matter so much when you consider it allows for a 6x boost in general (25x if I read strength right). Makes stats less... staty. Makes me think of the crap going on in bleach elites that happens simply because boosts exist. In general terms without actually going into a rant, I don't like the boosts run rampant thing, and believe there should be a specific purpose behind them, like bijuu, bloodlines, etc for sustained. And other boosts should be more specific one-turn purpose. But looking thouroughly through the system, I must say I absolutely hate it utterly. So I guess I'll be taking my leave and try to find a stat ruled rp I can agree with. God do I hate random boost power playing.

Also you don't boost stats for no reason, it is assume as a semi good rper you can come up with a good reason for why your boosting something and how it being boost to make sense for your character I don't know what stats your reading, but you seem way off, the most a stat can be boosted is x2 your base level in said stat. e.g. if you have 50 Will Power you could only boost it to 100 even if the skill you were using to boost it gave +300Will Power, and only one thing at a time can be boosting a stat, also you can't use two skills, say something that give you +20 and then another +30, for a total or +50, you get one or the other not both so this x6 and x25 seem to be you reading a lot wrong Also why go after a Bijuu they don't give anything too great a benefit for the mission to get them unless you really want one for the character, and beating someone with one doesn't take too much more then a normal person, just more planning but are have fun to have

We usually look over every technique a player creates and if it doesn't work rpically we let them know. The point of the matter is, we want the ability to maintain creativity of the players without restricting them only to things that are canon. Of course the rules established are to avoid power playing as much as possible and allow for an enjoyable experience for all. If you want to play a naruto based game go buy one for whatever console you own and play it. If you want to create a story in the world of naruto with a reasonable safety net from those noobs who think they are a 'kyuubi-hyuuga-uchiha' then I'd ask you to give me a link to a better location if you can find it. The stats are not what is important here, it's the stories made that make the guild shine, so if you only care about being a powerful entity that is your prerogative. Good luck in your travels should you really decide to leave. It'd be nice to have everyone stay and enjoy the community here but it's understandable that it isn't everyone's cup of tea.
