I prefer it was actual posts/threads in the main forum, as the point of the contests were to boost activity there, thus keeping newbies and such interested in the guild. But nope, it is certainly fine. Even without all of your posts in here, you're still going to take first place anyway, so it doesn't matter to begin with.
