Yeaahhh... don't miss that.
There are like NO bugs here... except the scorpions and giant cockroaches. But scorpions stay away from people and cockroaches only chill outside at night.

Ninko Nogitsune @Riko: I'll be eighteen next Tuesday. However, I come from an extremely conservative, Christian family, my mom being the matriarch. I'm sort of hoping said family will help me pay to go to DigiPen, so I'm not about to make her think games are the devil (again) no matter what that entails. gonk
I'll make a list of games I'm gonna play the second I get my own place. sweatdrop
EDIT: I've never heard of chiggers until now. sweatdrop
Digi pen is great... for programmers. Anything else you DON'T want to go there for.
If you are looking to do art either do a traditional art school or some school like mine that focuses in the field you want.

...I didn't expect it, but I just got a huge burst of inspiration from, of all things, a mecha game!
I can't wait till the exams are over and Akira can train in his new fighting style! ^^

Everyone on my mom's side is over-the-top religious and conservative... and they all hate me for reasons that should be pretty obvious though stupid.
Video games are only evil when I want them, but the minute my sister wants the PS2, or the DS or the Wii- they're suddenly ok. ninja

Bachelor of Arts in Game Design is what I'm aiming for there. My parents loved it because of the professional environment and the fact that it's close by. Again, my mom is vehemently against me going to an actual art institute because apparently, weirdos go there. sweatdrop

That's what I'm getting.
I am telling you now, don't go to Digipen. There are 2 schools people respect a game design degree from. I've heard it from EVERYONE I've talked to in the industry.
UAT and Full Sail.
Also, give up now if you are a fan. This is business. 3/4 students fail out of the game design degree. 1/3rd in the first 3 semesters if you go to a good school. If you are looking for an ART degree, go into "Game Art". Game Design is rough. There are no idea guys. 60% of the students at my school are design degrees and the jobs in the industry is only 13% design related. Getting in is near impossible from what I hear. It's a cold day in hell when an entry level "designer" position is open.

Though most of the greatest lines come from him being an a** to Neku. xd
TWEWY is probably the only JRPG in which I actually enjoy the combat. There's a bit of a learning curve, but it's fun once you get the hang of it.
The music is also awesome. I use the soundtrack for Shuniji's theme (Shibuya).
