There is indeed a cartoon network in the united states. I am also aware of an Anime network available in some places- but I do not get the latter. Unfortunately, american dubbing companies tend to take a good anime and turn it to a mediocre show at best. I shudder at what they did to Sailor Moon. It wasn't too bad in the origonal Japanese, but the american version is like a sweaty turd- you don't want anything to do with it.
Same for Naruto. I am up to episode 50 in Japanese, and it is a wonderful show. I have seen up to episode 3 in English . . . and hate what they have done to it.
Advent Children still makes me drool. They did such a good job of being true to the charecters and environments . . . I do not care for the voices that were given, but then again I got it for free, so what do I care? pirate
