Aku looked around after shaking Alex's hand. "Keep our voices low... it's crazy here.. and you're impatient? Sounds like alot to grasp." He said barely above a whisper. "Good to know," Emiri said, as she watched him come back. She watched as he bent down to pet Ninetails.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you," Emiri warned. As Alex had begun to bend down, Ninetails began to back away, and had a slight sneer in her eyes. Her tails began to prickle as Alex got closer.

Ninetails sat up straight with a look of uninterest as Alex stood back up and faced Emiri. Emiri watched as Alex looked down at Ninetails, then to her.
Emiri's happy demeanor came back as she blushed at Alex calling her cute, but she quickly hid it as she turned to Aku.
"So how about a little exploring," she said almost too quickly, hiding the fact she had blushed. "I'm sure there's some new pokemon here, not to mention those horrid monsters," she said, cringing at remembering that Kabutops' airy roar. "And there's Brock. I'm looking forward to my first badge," Emiri said, as her pokemon cheered behind her.

Lots of stuff to draw. xD The following fossils are available to battle as many times as you wish over the course of the next day or so. They'll be in limitless supply. Some easy exp for ya. ;D Each battle gains you +10 exp to the Pokemon that battled. You have to post 3 times in between battles. You can also fight double battles with a partner against two fossils for 25 exp per battle to each person. You got +10 exp for defeating the first fossil. "Mind helping me look for Emiri and Aku?" she asked of Buju, hoping the Bug wouldn't mind. Of course he didn't, so he took to the air and started scouting around for the others.

Emiri looked around, hesitantly. She could have sworn she heard something coming towards them. She was looking around them, when she heard a rather familure noise. Looking in the direction of Viridian forest, she saw Buju and Ritz coming from the forest. Emiri and her pokemon, happy to see them, began to walk up to Buju and Ritz, when Ninetails began to growl at something coming from the side.

Ninetails was growling, Charmeleon was hiding behind Emiri, Ivysaur was getting ready to charge, Rhyhorn was grunting, and Scyther's wings began to flare out, as they all watched a fossilized Kabutops turn the corner, looking straight at Emiri with the same airy roar as the first.
Emiri screamed, as it came charging towards her and her pokemon, turning to run, her pokemon following, but Ivysaur stayed. Emiri turned back to Ivysaur.
"Ivysaur! What are you doing! Run," Emiri exclaimed, watching in sheer horror as the fossil was approaching, with sharpened scythes and the horrible noise of scraping bones. Ivysaur looked at Emiri, waiting for a command. She knew what he wanted to do, but couldn't bare to have Ivysaur go against something so scary. Emiri saw the determination in Ivysaurs eyes. Turning to face the monster coming towards her, and her pokemon, Emiri exclaimed, "Ivysaur! Use solar beam!"

The bulb on Ivysaur's back began to absorb light as the Kabutops continued charging, it's scythes scraping against the ground. Kabutops attacked with a scratch attack, violently striking Ivysaur with one of its deathly scythes. Ivysaur took the hit with vigor, as the bulb continued to absorb light.

The Kabutops turned an began running, only to turn around again, gaining speed upon going to attack Ivysaur again. Ivysaur looked at the Kabutops intensly as he released the light absorbed by his bulb. The light crashed down around the Kabutops, surrounding it in a pure light. When the light faded, the Kabutops staggered, and had taken the hit hard.

The Kabutops shook the attack off, and again began charging towards Ivysaur, striking hard with another sharp scythe using a scratch attack. Ivysar took the hit, and staggered back, before regaining his balance.
"Ivysaur! Use vine whip," Emiri exclaimed, still horrified at what she and her pokemon were facing.

Julian had wandered off away from the rest of the group a while ago, and hadn't really found any of the fossilized pokemon when his Pokegear tuned into another strange signal. He listened carefully and then shook his head exasperated. "Keys now? Really?" He asked himself in an annoyed voice. He looked around and still didn't see anything to fight around her so he decided to leave the cleanup to the two others he had met before. With a quick movement Julian sent out Tori and then hopped on her back. "Okay Tori, looks like we are going to the sinnoh region this time." The bird pokemon took to the skies and headed for Eterna city. "Have fun cleaning up the fossils!" He yelled down to the trainers as he flew off.

Ivysaur took aim at the Kabutops, and fiercly unleashed the vines within his bulb. Whip after whip, the Kabutops took the attacks, before finally falling to the ground in a heap of dust and bones, the scythes clanging against the ground, scraping as they fell.
(Kabutops was defeated. Ivysaur +10 exp.)
