"No.. not really...." Lena said, shaking her head some "everything is just a lot cleaner.. I've had quite a lot of time on my hands...." she continued as she took hold of Shinji's hand and pulled him along toward the living room.

Shinji nodded to Lena and followed her to the livingroom, squeezing her hand softly in his. He wanted to tell her he was sorry, but he'd said it so many times before, he wasn't sure if she wanted to hear it or not. Part of him thought perhaps they had the sort of relationship his parents had - No matter what either of them seemed to do, or how upset one got, the other was always there to love them. Always.

Lena looked over at Shinji after having pulled him down to sit on the couch beside her. She could see in his eyes that there was something he was holding back. She shifted to lean back against the arm of the couch and face him. She pulled her knees up to her chest and straightened out her skirt as she said "If there's something you want to say, just say it... I don't like it when you don't tell me things..."

Shinji blushed faintly as he looked to Lena. He smiled softly and shook his head, shifting closer to pull her to rest against him. I was just thinking about my parents...he said, resting his head to hers after moving an arm around her.

Lena smiled as she rested against Shinji "What about your parents..?" she asked, shifting to look up at him.

Shinji shifted to kiss Lena's forhead softly, a faint smile on his lips as he looked to her. I was just thinking, that...The way I tend to wander off, is a lot like my mom...My dad does it too but not quite as often. I was just making comparisons of us to them...thinking about their relationship and how strong it is, and wondering if we're going to be like them...He paused to look to Lena again, and smiled. I hope we are...They're rather unstoppable.

Shinji shifted just barely so that his lips better covered Lena's. He pulled her to himself better so that she was more comfortable against him, and moved his other hand to cup her cheek. He smiled against her lips a moment before breaking the kiss, moving to kiss her nose softly.

Lena let out a giggle as Shinji kissed her nose. She smiled and nuzzled his neck, snuggling up closer to him as she said "I've really missed this..."

Shinji let his eyes fall shut, and nodded against Lena. Me too...He took a deep breath and rest his head to Lena's, leaving his eyes closed as he ran fingers through her hair again.

Lena let a yawn escape her lips as her eyes fell shut. She was so happy to be there in the arms of the one she loved, once more.

Shinji paused to look to Lena, tilting his head to better see her. Are you tired? he asked softly, not wanting to disturb her if sleep was calling.

Lena's words made Shinji grin, unable to surpress the sexual nature inherited from his father which made him think of all the possibilities. He cleared his throat and sort of laughed, nodding to Lena some. Yes, we should get you into bed. His voice still mirrored the thoughts, which Lena could more than likely recognize.

"Mmm-hmm.... into bed, to sleep..." Lena said with a bit of a laugh. "You have such a one track mind..." she continued as she stood up from the couch.
