CatachanMan Oh, ok. Thanks! Now i'll need to take some things away to add them. I'm doing a guard infantry army. You can technically cut out five models if you use a conscript platoon. They don't need a command unit, if I recall.

it's a lot of painting. xd but you do get to have a lot of fun with conversions. Because making 200 people who look identical plays with your sanity. You WILL convert a few models.

I love converting models! I do it to a lot of my men. My Commisar is made from the body, legs, and head from a Tank Accecories Sprue, a Space Wolves Power Fist arm and backpack, and an axe from the Space Wolves. He looks soo cool!

Eh, the painting is decent, bit it's neither perfect, nor golden demon quality. These are just how I do gaming standard paintjobs on units...

@Mat: Already got it, I picked up a box of Minis I'm making into Storm Troopers.
@Ophiuchus: Your CO as cool as mine and about as lazy as me. Nice combo. wink
CatachanMan: Welcom to the world of flashlights and squishys. I know a thing or to about army building. A little advice: Ask if you don't know but you seem to know that already. Remember: "The Emporer protects!"

Brother Felix @Ophiuchus: Your CO as cool as mine and about as lazy as me. Nice combo. wink Hah, i'm so bored i'm doing "cameo" models. I've got one current conversion i'm doing for an officer wearing a ZAFT uniform from the Gundam's Cosmic Era timeline. Just because I can. No one else will have a model QUITE like this one in their army.

CatachanMan My command squad is the Heroic Senior Officer, 1 standard bearer, 1 Medic, a Missle launcher team (2 guardsmen), a priest, Commisar, and Psyker Take away the missle launcher you can't use it so long as you have the priest in the squad. Also that move will allow you 2 armor saves before you get to your much more costly squad members. Also with as many close combat specialists as you have in this squad you don't want them standing still.

Felix it got late last night and I didnt get to taking those pics but ill take them tonight. I suggest using those Troopers to beef up your troops force. A strong base will put the fear of the Emperor into your enemys before your big stuff even makes it on the table plus in escalation games your gonna want as many units on the feild when the game starts as possible
