Lucien laughed quietly at the command to eat. "'onestly, I would, but I cannot move, as I said earlier. Zees ees why I said to not worry about eet. Just leave me 'ere, I weel eventually turn to a mummy and you won't even know I am 'ere. Je suis désolé for ze trouble, monsier!" he said quietly, the smell of the blood and the meat only torturing and taunting him, just out of his reach.

Lucien was honestly confused. This creature was crying for him...? Why? As he felt the meat pressed against his lips, however, he opened his mouth and allowed it entrance. Tasting the delcious combination, both of his halves were satisfied and he began to weakly chew on the meat, loving every tiny morsel of it.

He wondered if his master will keep this creature. But it wasn't his place to decide so he didn't though he wondered.

Lucien finished the entire piece of meat and felt much better as he slowly sat up. His crimson eyes slowly blinked as he reached up to wipe at one of those tears. He didn't understand this beautiful creature, but he was grateful for his caring. Lucien wasn't used to anyone caring about him, not even Kaeru as the doctor had only done what he had asked for a price. This man before him had no reason to help him. "Pourquoi....?" he asked, genuinely wanting a reason.

Lucien blinked, and then realized that he had accidentally spoken in french. "Je sui d-- I'm sorry, I meant....Why? Why do you....care....?" Lucien weakly looked around, trying to avoid looking at his neck. While it was true that he had a little bit of his strength back, he was still hungry.

Lucien smiled before standing up, keeping his eyes averted so that he would not give into temptation. "Even eef one were to leeve for an eternity, 'e would steell be caught by surprise at all of life's meanings, opportunities, and secrets. A life cut short is no deefferent from a life fulfeelled. Boz are useless without zee knowledge and experience of all zat life can offer." Lucien headed to a wall, running his fingers down the wood. "Nozing lasts forever...." he whispered softly to himself.

SpReAd ThE lOvE //_______________________________________________ when I say The bird didn't quite understand what the vampire meant but said, "No nothing lasts forever but isn't it enough that i don't want you to die?" He asked innocently as he disliked seeing people die, especially right in front of his eyes. He wasn't the kind of person who will let someone day without trying to save him/her.

Lucien was caught off guard by the question and he turned to stare at the phoenix with wide eyes before a smile graced his lips. "I suppose eet ees...monsier...?" he asked again, once again realizing that he had no idea what the creature's name was. However, the beautiful creature and his words struck him true to the heart and he dimly wondered in the back of his mind how he ever made it this far without the bird-creature.

Lucien loved that bright smile. He wanted to reach out and carress the face it graced so beautifully. However, he dropped his eyes again, temptation setting in. "No meat, monsier Fushichoo, merci. Ah, but, some blood alone would be nice....ozerwise I might attack someone, and we do not want zat..." He said half jokingly before sitting down modestly, as he still only wore the hospital gown around his waist, and staring at his hand and leg, which were perfect and unscarred now.

SpReAd ThE lOvE //_______________________________________________ when I say "Ok!" Standing up, he rushed over to the kitchen with the bowl and opened another storage area where it was warm. Minutes later, he was slightly sweating while holding a red package. Going back to the kitchen, he reached for a glass and poured the blood into it before going to Lucien and handing the drink to him. "Here you go, sir."
