You don't need dance lessons... I didn't get the steps down to this dance we did until like the second day and that was after a lot of practice too...

You'll get used to it. 3nodding

I love acting and all but I'm getting preeeeetty tired of the same people getting lead roles. .-.

Wtf calls you a whore?

Well, I was thinking that if I had dance lessons I could move more smoothely. But maybe all I need is lots of practice like you say.

The leads cast in the play I'm in were rather questionable... and one was the teacher's daughter who... isn't that great at acting. (just in my opinion, though... well... and lots of people's...) But whatever! I guess you can't always win.

Well... I've gone to school with her since grade 6 and I moved away this year and yea. She's mean. confused

just try and relax a little, don't stress over not being able to get the moves right straight away therwise you'll just get tense and learning the moves will just be harder.

I'm sure you'll be great when you get into the swing of it.

AoD:Yea.. I just got chorus and I thought my singing wasn't that bad..

But stop that sarcasm! She really is mean, I just can't really explain it unless you know her personally.

AoD+Chicky: Thank you for the encouragement from the both of you. I'll try to follow your advices. (: heart

Funny thing is: I did vocals in the band I was in and I can sing jazz music pretty good so... My high school chorus teacher was just so intimidating that I couldn't perform as well. gonk

Oh, I was being serious. I've been there, been called that. XD

Of course, no problem~

Your posts really are amusing sometimes..

And last time, I checked, Tylenol along with all other medications have warning labels for SIDE EFFECTS. Hell, Advil can be a b***h to your stomach.. ALL medications have a RISK, some are just lower dosages than others.

I never even said Alzheimer's was curable, but there's still some medication to reduce symptoms.

And you know why they go back on anti-depressants? Because they go off cold turkey without asking their doctor. And they generally believe that without them, they'll get worse. That's not a physical thing, usually. It's more psychological and that, can be dealt with. You can convince a patient that they don't need it.. Just like you convinced them that they do.

Try telling thousands of psychologists and general doctors that ADHD isn't real. Sure, they'll believe you. rolleyes

And yeah, a lot of drugs are mixed up because it takes a long a** time to get results. Drugs are tested eight to twelve years, even then there still is some error that the manufacturers don't find out til later.

Drugs aren't perfect, dear. Doctors study the PRACTICE of medicine, not the perfection of it.

Dear foxing lord.

Meer: Virginia?! But...I live there. And it sucks. Mm, crime rate. gonk

Your posts really aren't that amusing. You've got a horrible way of presenting your thoughts in a severely sardonic format that gives a very arrogant impression.

In any event... shampoo has warning labels of side effects also... those side effects are for IMPROPER use. Anything used incorrectly can be bad.
let's take a look at tylenol. Tylenol is just acetaminophen. It's in the pain releiver class and it does this by dimming the nerves to require a greater stimulation before the pain recieptors acknowledge a pain sensation. It also puts a hard limit on the temerature control functions of the brain to aid with fevers. Acetaminophen was approved by the FDA in 1951 (Yeah I looked up the date.)

Due to it's chemical nature it is metabolized by the liver. So if you take tylenol for a hang over, while drinking, before drinking, or while on any other drug that weakens the liver it may cause further damage to the liver.

It's safe for use during all stages of pregnancy and during nursing. (i looked up the pregnancy thing too... cause I've never needed to know that)

The official side effects for tylenol (by independant study) are as follows: "When used appropriately, side effects are rare. The most serious side effect is liver damage due to large doses, chronic use or concomitant use with alcohol or other drugs that also damage the liver."

Tell me again how this is dangerous when used properly?

Next topic

Your generalizations of peoples conditions and reasons isn't making you very reliable. Not everyone who quits cold turkey goes back on. Not everyone who quits properly stays off of it after. Even if you go through the doctor recommended process of dose reducement until you're "weened" off the medication, once you take your last dose you're on a countdown before you go through a withdrawel stage. The weening just lessens the intensity. Either way at that point it's a matter of will power and to be blunt, the majority of people who willingly depend on those meds lack willpower which is how they got there to begin with.

As for ADHD there is a fairly large school (though still a minority) that is with me on the stance that ADHD is not real. Now when I say that understand that I'm saying "Attention Deficite Hyperactive Disorder" is not real. The reason I say this is that although the symptoms exist, I don't beleive it's a disorder. It's just the effect of the information age. Children are growing up exposed to higher amounts of multilevel fragmented data and as a result have a capacity for quick transitions. The reason it's viewed as a disorder by the scholastic community is two fold. First it's because the current scholastic structure is completely unable to instruct on such a level. The approach institutionalised by western civilization is very structured and linear. This doesn't mesh well with our entertainment and internet absorbtion. So instead of spending millions to restructure schools to fit the needs of the students we move to the second fold. There is a lot of money parents are willing to pay to dose thier kids. So why spend money to keep up with progress when you can make a profit? There is a reason they can only inhibit the symptoms and still can't pinpoint the actual facets of the "disorder"

I'm not expecting pharmacists to know all the side effects or functions when they release a drug. The chemical compositions of each person on a case by case basis is too varied to make a case study foolproof. However... the doctors that perscribe this s**t to people, especially minors... most of them need a crash course in ethics and should revisit the Hipocratic oath.

Having been a home owner and landlord, I can understand why they won't allow it. Its money. Cats are known for scratching. Sure, not all cats are desructive but the chances are there. Not to mention some people do not take good care of thier cats/dogs and allow thier waste products to become an issue. Dogs have a tendancy to be occationally noisey. Same with birds. Fish pose an entirely different problem, that being if anything ever happens to the tank, you're risking water damage.

Now, not many landlords are willing to allow certain pets for the various risks accociated with each pet. I am sure your family is more then willing to take good care of your potential pets but lots of people are too lazy to do that or look for good renters who are responsible ^^;

Total agreeance grypes 3nodding People have often said my kids have ADHD as well and for the same reasons you listed, I tell them they are full of it. My kids just don't have enough access to things to keep them interested. They are model students but they both say school is so boring it hurts. At ages 9 and 10, my kids can learn any game at least as fast if not faster then I can, that is games that take reflexes. They haven't quite grasped stratagy games yet xd

;-;
Me and my boyfriend bith wanna move out (of our parents houses) and live together....but my parents don't think it is neccesary (although it will that it will only take me an hour to get to school instead of 2 hours and 15 min.) ....his mum probably won't agree either...

So that leaves his dad (his parents are divorced) but he barely sees him and its kinda weird to ask him....

And another problem is where can we go. Cos his university is very far from my college. There is one city where we wanna go (which is in the middle and not so very far from our parents houses) but we can not find anything.

And I'm dying here....I'm going crazy here....I have to do EVERYTHING and my sisters nothing...and they get everything they want...

Yeah, that's what I'm talkin about. My original idea (pre-research) was from personal experience. Both me and one of my younger siblings have been diagnosed with ADHD. We were both problematic students. I'd get bored and then get disruptive because I'd get it on the first pass and the teacher would be on thier 6th repetition of the same idea for the benefit of the slow kid and it would drive me nuts. My brothers issue was almost identicle except he wasn't acting out as a result, he would just detatch from the environment . So He'd get the first bit and the be elsewhere after he got bored and would mis the rest.

He's on meds and now he's a better student in school but he's also... kinda dim now. Not brain dim... spirit dim.

I on the other hand refused medications and learned how to teach myself. Everyone I've met who had "ADD" or "ADHD" and hasn't medicated for it and actively tried to adapt using self reliance instead of stressing and trying to force themselves to fit into the "normal" functions are damn near brilliant, though also a bit quirky. ninja

Well, I can definitely agree with the no dogs rule and the no birds rule because of noise and such because all the people in the other buildings seem to have dogs, and they won't shut up (I don't really mind, though... I've grown up around dogs). I can see how that could prove to be annoying, especially in a fourplex where you have to share walls.

But, with cats I think its more our furniture that would get more damaged, so I don't see why it'd bother them.

Although, you're right. It all boils down to the irresponsable pet owners who don't look after their pets very well. Take my one neighbour for an example. They never take their doggie out for walks, when it needs to be outside they put it on a leash and attach it outside the door in their tiny yard that isn't even fenced.

I feel bad for that dog. ):

Anywho, I can see your points Impy. Its just a little frustrating because I miss having pets.

Well even so, I know it's a hassle if anything goes wrong but there should be allowances for small caged pets or fishtanks under a certain volume. A beta fish bowl isn't gonna cause any more water damage than a tall glass of water.

I wanna quit muh job *__* Only been working for 2 weeks or a little more... mebe a total of 20-something hours...
Always new retail sucks but Sunday, I worked 8 hours. I might've been suffering from fatigue, I wasn't feeling 100%, and I dealt with an extremely rude old man, almost cried, didn't eat half my lunch, dealt with a snob... came home with sore shoulders, sore back, sore feet... I couldn't put pressure on my right foot until the next night. D:

might've been because I slept 4 hours that morning and I've had premenstrual bleeding er whatever for about 6 days and am starting myactualperiodthisweek.
Lucky me I didn't have to work yesterday, I slept well <3

A friend of mine in California works at some store... like an eBay store or whatever. He suggested I work at the one closest to me... I'm thinking that would be better since it's not retail. @_@; I'm gonna look into it after I get my paycheck - whenever that'll be. The world of Customer Service is ******** and I'm not allowed to be rude right back to the customers. emo
