The fairy held her hand in the light, afraid to melt, like snow and spring.

Ivory glowed at Aerith's praise. "I had no idea, either. Last night he just looked so scary, and stiff. But in reality he was really kind." She wanted to explode, and tell Aerith everything---all her hopes to live without clinging to a bracelet, and of bringing the Asrai's out into the sunlight, and all the bad things that this made up for. She pursed her lips against the torrent of emotions, though. She didn't want to stir it all up when her dream was just a seedling.
She didn't notice Maro's face puffing up. She started, again, when he spoke to her, and turned her head to him, her chin meekly tucked into her chest. "That's great, and by the way, we seem to have not met just yet. I'm Maro Sakura, Chiyo's older brother. What's yours!"
"It's...um...Ivory Coleridge," she murmured through half closed lips. This impression was astonishingly shyer than he previous spirit. Facing the boy was making her more nervous, and being looked at still gave her that prickle over the skin of apprehension, stained on her psyche. While growing a drop of friendship for Tora, who'd taken bold initiative in teaching her, and a flood of admiration for the headmaster, who'd offered her a realization to her private fantasies, and a link of kinship with Benten, who could understand and emphasize with her, Maro had done nothing for her so far. She remained tense beside him, avoiding his eyes.
Thinking desperately for a way out, she remembered what Aerith had said about herself: "There isn't much to know about me actually. I'm not very....exciting."
"I'm sure that's not true about you," she blurted, swinging on her butt, her houlder absently brushing Maro's. She flinched away from it and hurriedly focused on Aerith. "There's plenty exciting. You're really strong, y'know, and really nice. It was excited when you became my first friend." A blush swept across her face at admitting it and she ducked her head with an embarrassed giggle.

But her white skin flashed in the sun, solid, existing, and astonishly alive.

Aerith smiled for Ivory. She felt so proud for her. "I'm very happy for you Iva." she said smiling. When Maro tried to introduce himself seeing Ivory's reaction was kinda interesting. She didn't seem to like him very much, but hopefully they become friends sooner or later. These were practically Aerith's two friends on her own without Lena. When Ivory put the topic back on Aerith she blushed a bit as she listened to Iva list her qualities. "Oh...well...thank you." she said with a small smile and looked down at her food. "That's nice and all, but even so it doesnt really make me exciting. There isn't much to know about me. It's best not to waste your time." she said playing around with her water.

Aerith looked over to Ivory who insisted that she'd tell things about herself. She really didnt know where she should start and how to even start. Chiyo nodded in agreement to Ivory in wanting to know her more but it only made the girl even more nervous. When she glanced over to Ivory she saw a weird expression on her face and when she turned to see Maro she saw a face of annoyance She gave a sigh and took a spoon, dabbed a small chopped piece of carrot and pulled it back. "Maro..." she said releasing the spoon and had the carrot his his forehead. "Your face will get stuck like that if you keep making that expression." she said hopefully this well get the topic off of her and on to something else.
