Happy under the hug mainly because it was warm, Calder snuggled with Freya a moment before the hug was broken. Christof adjusted his load and checking to make sure they were all tended to, headed up to and through the door.
Calder paused only a moment to reflect on Christof's behavior. During most of the trip, especially in those dire ours before Red's passing, he had taken hold of the situation and willed everyone to build and then made sure their group was accounted for before leaving. He certainly seemed very mature. Maybe even more mature than Calder, and he felt even less useful than before. Despite being the same age, he hadn't taken shown any sort of bravery of levelheadedness during this experience.
Frowning, he followed behind, ready to get back home.

Bul was quick to return to his blush when Willow came up to him in natural form. Looking between her and Mei he chuckled. He was still nude in front of everyone and the longer he stood there the more obvious it felt.
But as Willow handed him her pin he was able to take her gesture seriously and gently held the emblem in his hand. "Willow, thank you~" he said to the tiger with a gentle smile. "You... were such a wonderful teammate. You all were. I'm so happy to see you all okay now. I was afraid I'd be teamless forever..." he hung his arms then patted the tiger's head.
Demi the approached and Bul felt like he was literally surrounded by family. Even his antagonizing was welcomed by a light shove. Did he care that team venture saw him kissing his leading lady? NOT A CHANCE SUCKAS. Though he did owe Bea a hug now that she arrived, though in front of his ghoulfriend he'd treat it as a half hug maybe a couple shoulder pats. "You guys, I know Demi here knows her, but this is my ghoulfriend Mei." he smiled and gestured a sort of bow to the living doll.
"If you guys find Cady we should all leave right away. I was just telling Mei I'm ready to get into some warm clothes =^="

There was nothing he could say. There were no words that could ease the ache of the loss, nothing that could make everything better again. Red was gone. And although he continued to whisper soothingly in her ear, they both knew that it was not going to be ok. Not for a long time. They would wake up every morning to head to class, and she would not be there in the halls, or in gym class to yell at them, or with Arel during the assemblies. For a while they might wake up, and think that perhaps it was all a terrible dream, a nightmare that even Halloweentown never wanted to experience, and that she'd be there just as she always was. But then it would come flooding back, that no, she was truly gone, and that pain would come rushing back. But perhaps after a while, they would wake up and they wouldn't pretend it was a dream. And a little while later, maybe the tears wouldn't come every time they saw a hooded figure. And then maybe after a long time, it would only be at night sometimes, maybe during a full moon that there would be that little squeezing ache in their chests.
Holding her a little closer, Nuk let her cry as long and as hard as she wanted, his fingers moving over her skin in the most comfortable motion he could manage. Surprisingly, he didn't feel awkward having her in his lap, his arms around her -- for the first time since they had broken up, he didn't try to nudge her away, physically or otherwise. Tilting his head, he kissed the top of her head gently, letting her vent all her fear and heartbreak, occasionally murmuring something back to let her know he was listening. "I'm not goin' anywhere sweetheart," he replied in a low, reassuring tone, reaching up to stroke her hair a little, running his fingers through the ends.
It was only after they had stayed for a while, the canyon almost completely abandoned that he spoke up again, his voice as gentle as possible.
"C'mon babe, lets go home... you need to get that burn looked at."

Lattice gave Edel a small nod showing that she noticed her or at least realized where her form stood in relation to her own before she pulled her attention back toward Lizzy quietly tilting her head to one side before she offered quietly, "It was bound to happen. There was a lot of emotion and chaos going around..."
She felt tired, weary, and worst of all she was cold which is something she never imagined she would be all things considered.
"What matters now is that we are all in one piece, maybe not happy but in one piece." It was always important to be in one piece was it not? She shifted her footing again as Lizzy mentioned waiting for Vee the ghoul gave a small nod though she didn't look comfortable at the prospect.
"Vee and I are...at odds. May I go ahead please? I do not think I can bear seeing her right this moment..." Lattice murmured softly her head bowing. Vee's hateful words came back harsh and fast it was like being there all over again. It was easier for Lattice to see and face Hel than it was to see and face Vee. Hel never said she hated her while Vee did.

"CADY IS HEEEEEEEERE."The ghoul in question stumbled out from behind the skull, still coughing from all the dust. Dust, and glitter. How was she ever going to get it off? And - oh. Her skull pin had chosen this moment to stop being on the fitz. She was covered in spookies and the remains of a pink dress. It was, to say the least, not very flattering.

She was milling about the field silently, leaving Mort as others began to gather around him, wishing Toby and whomever else lingered near by a safe journey back to Halloween...
Mei and LW had made their appearances, which Natalia breathed a sigh of relief for. It was good to know the flames hadn't destroyed them...completely.
Yet their primary concerns were to tend to their own businesses, be it with loved ones or to offer Red their final goodbyes. While Natalia wanted to snuggle up with each, she did not approach. Not yet, anyway, as they would have plenty of time to catch up later on...The monster even noticed Renaissance in the mix of things, a faint smile replacing the lack-luster look that lingered on her face. She also kept the gap that separated them wide and unnoticeable, walking around him on her search; although for a very different reason than the one for the ghouls. But as she wandered through the canyon by her lonesome, a heartache begged the question that was continuously mouthed by her own pale lips. Where was Whisper? Where was her ghoulfriend?
So many of them had started to head home and yet the hellhound was no where to be found. Not a flicker of orange light reverberating off her suit shown in the distance...not the flutter of brown hair and fur as she stepped lightly, just as Whisper always did. Natalia moaned, clutching herself with both arms, or rather attempting to while still holding on to Mort's limp arms. Watching the scenes of love unfold around her gave way to an empty pit in her stomach. Where...where?!
A great portion of Red's remains were left in the wake of the students. The area looked so peaceful now as the last few who wanted a piece of their professor were either successful in their attempts or leaving what was left of her to rest...Hope burned within Natalia, a hope that was hopeless really...perhaps Red would return some day, in some way...Halloween was filled with Ghosts, right? Perhaps...not that things worked the way the monster hoped...
Oh...wait...Mort was still over there. Poor boil, couldn't snag a piece off the ash...
Her aimless walking led her back to the zombie, leaning against him with her hip before bending forward. "We have to go." Her voice was much lower than what she thought it would be. Clearing it, she spoke again. "Come on hon, we have to go..."

Jove found himself safely tucked in Tybalt's arms, bone piece, medal and all. But he still whined as he was carried towards the doorway. He whined for Demi, and Seiji, and everyone else he was being pulled away from. What if this was another door that would lead to a terrifying battle ground? Was LW still with them? Would he see his friends again? And where was his brother, what if he was leaving Ren behind? The little pup whimpered and cried all the way through the door. ((Exiting, back to Halloween))

"Not yet. Not yet."
Her hip bump jostled him a little, but Mort managed somehow to stay up. With his head he indicated to Natalia his pile of ash he had failed to secure as a more solid fang from the skull, the zombie's expression a mix of sheepishness and self-consciousness. Others had managed just fine to take a piece!
"Need mento. Er. Menento. Menement - Nemen - Faaaaaaaaaa."
He'd facepalm himself, but . . . well. Yeah.
"Need something to remember," he tried again.

"There ain't nothing wrong with ghoul time Willow." Damien replied back in a huff and crossing his arms at the mention of the topic. "Its just sad I can't have any ghoul time." he muttered out quietly and did his best not to stare at a certain friendly Baku until the tiger decided to hold up his paws from the view and started at bat them away playfully. "No, no hairballs today please and Bea."he said turning around to face the paler ghoul. "It's journalism, make it up." he replied back with a wink. "But Cady needs to be found, should I start waving steaks in the air then?" he offered pulling out two more that never got to be thrown in Redzilla's mouth. They were still good.... he thought. And playfully returned back the shove that Bul offered, like an unspoken message between pals. "Hey hey Mei, glad to see you are well and not trying to aim a paint ball gun at me!" he said with the flick of a wrist and a tiny bow toward the ghoul. It was like one big, happy, dysfunctional family.

LW's smile for Demi faltered a little at his question. She still hadn't seen all of her group yet since that last...battle. But she swallowed heavily and tried to answer his question without the dark thoughts. "We fared well enough. Got separated though." She added quietly, gaze falling on Tybalt and Jove. They were the only ones from their team any of them had seen.
The she-wolf nodded at Tybalt. Home. Yes please. She was done. So very done with being here.
"You be safe as well, Demi." LW added as she watched him run back towards another ghoul, one that looked familiar. The she-wolf was pretty sure she'd met her before but right now, home was the foremost thing on her mind.
Lw didn't waste anymore time lingering and quickly followed after Tybalt carting Jove through the door that would take them home.

Watching on with sympathetic eyes, knowing that in her hand she held a piece of Red that had luckily fallen off with great ease, Natalia placed Mort's arms on the ground as delicately as she could before crouching low. The ghoul understood his slight desperation, even if the boil was first year and probably not familiar with Red as well as the rest of them were...
The werewolf had saved their lives. She saved them. Through whatever means, for whatever reason; the boil was allowed to want a piece of his savior with him.
"Give me your bag then?" Natalia thrummed, holding up a hand patiently. Wait, was he still wearing his bag? Shifting her gaze momentarily only to frown, she lowered her palm and rested it on a knee. He looked kind of naked from this angle...Armless and naked. She just couldn't tell.
"How do you suppose we do it then?" Staring at the ash and what solid formations were left of the behemoth, Natalia sighed.

When the skinwalker began speaking to her, she fell silent.Shehk said nothing more, just listening to the murmurs that were being whispered to her, trying to take them in..to make them true. Everything would be fine, everything would be fine.... but part of her just was taking it too hard to accept that immediately. Her head nuzzled further against his neck pathetically, even as the weight continued to settle on her, a weight that was slowly being counterbalanced with the words and the gentle hand that moved against her skin.
It was almost sad how easily she settled against his body again. It had been months since she hadn't been pushed away by him, yet it still seemed like she had fit right back into that spot she'd worn out just for herself. He was still as gentle with her as he had been before, his fingers barely brushed against her skin, her hair...they were all of the reassurances. Soothing words, the low sound of his voice, his lips against her head, his body pressed to hers...all of it.
Sweetheart, Babe...the words jabbed at the part of her that missed those names, those words that had meant something more months before. For a moment, she entertained reading into them further than she should have, but the selfish thoughts were pushed out of her head when the reality of everything around her came back. But by then, she was running out of tears to spend. Her sobs had gone dry, the emotion still there but nothing else.
She lifted her head from his shoulder when he spoke, looking at him before she seemed to droop against him again, mumbling back to him."Okay...." she replied, "I'll....get up soon, just..give me a minute." it really was a matter of her getting up the will to move away from his warmth and the comfort he was offering to her. That was, if she could manage it.

Once Roch could breathe again (G hugs were dangerous things, man!) he looked at the skull. "Y'know, you probably don't want this from a punk like me," he said to it with a little grin, summoning his FEAR and compressing it into an emblem. "But you get it anyways." He tossed his emblem onto the skull and patted G on the arm. "I'm gonna go big guy. You can say your last goodbyes if you want." Then he turned and headed for the door, yawning largely. Cymbeline came to stand near the others, a little singed and scorched, but for once, sobered by the events that took place. She might have almost appeared like her old self, the introspective, quiet blonde who was not distracted by fleeting fits of whimsy and maniacal laughter. For a moment she said nothing, just stood with the others. Their company hadn't changed, it was still the four of them against the world. But had their world become larger as they set out on their own? And hadn't it just become smaller with the werewolf's loss? She glanced towards the other three, hoping one of them would meet her eyes and confirm her suspicions.
