"You expect him to change?" Kashmir says. "Forty years of this, I don't think so."
"I can do something!" the Professor cries. "I don't care if I'm the goddamn butler! I'll do ANYTHING to stay alive! Just spare me, and I'll do anything!"
Kashmir looks at Selphie and then back to you.
"What do you lot think?" he asks.
Jasmine:
The woman smiles.
"Senythra," she replies. "What are your names?"
Tellat is still on all fours, but is sitting like an obedient hound, rather than standing in an aggressive stance. She does not respond to Senythra.

I bend over and whisper into her ear.
"Most call me Jasmine..." I say. I decide to let Tellat introduce herself, get her used to talking to other people and all.

Selphie:
The Professor is silent as he shrinks back, pressing himself into the cold, hard stone wall of his cell. His eyes are wide.

"Well damn!" I say, rather suprised at Senythra's reaction.
"Pardon the cliche, but that's a rather exotic name, where are you from?" I say, running a hand down her chest and fluffing out my tails a bit, wrapping some of them around her.

I just can't stand hearing him plea like that... I can't throw him to the wolves without being able to... My eyes widen with a bit of realization and I speak very softly, more to myself... "Able to fight..." I look at the others as I had been hanging my head in thought, with a look of a mix between excitement and triumph, just with the happiness that I had figured it out. "Guys, I just can't hand him over to be slaughtered like this... Maybe I could train him to fight... We could have ourselves a little show... and then he would actually be on more even terms... Then I won't feel so bad! And as he's training we could learn more and more about this whole...process we've gone through." I realize the others may not take to this proposal so kindly, but I can't think of too much else. "I could even train him to be the best slave! We could let him see what it would have been like for us if it had been his way...rather than give the mercy to him to just die and not deal with the true consequences." I glance about at the others with hope.

Shi'ita looks at the others, his eyes going from Desta to Kashmir to the Professor to Selphie to Zazigh. He stepped close to the exit. "I won't watch another person who just wishes to live be killed. So if you are determined to put him six feet under, I'll take my leave now."

"Take your leave batboy, you don't have to see his life end," I tell Shi'ita. "But desu, he has to die, I can't let him live, the dragon that now lives inside me wants him dead. Who am I to tell it no?" I say cheerfully.

I look at Selphie with an expression similar to shock. "Are you kidding me? So you're just going to turn into some merciless animal?" I speak in a desperate tone, but then my eyes narrow and I begin to brace myself for a fight on all fours, baring my teeth slightly. "You're not getting him unless you get through me..." I can't just watch someone die like this... Defending yourself against a bad guy is one thing... But just slaughtering them? When there's a chance for change? Or even to be of some use? No...

Shi'ita would have left...except for Desta says that Selphie would have to get through her to get to the Professor, and he returns quickly, merely to defend Desta. "If you have to go through Chee-Des to get to him, then you have to go through me to get to Chee-Des." he says.

"Haseem," Senythra replies. "The most diverse of the Great Nations. Even more than Aytig, the conglomerate of city-states founded by the outcasts of the other Great Nations."
She says this almost proudly, as if she was a major player in Haseem. She seems to like your hand running down her chest, as she puffs it out a bit. Though, this could just be pride for her heredity. However, she does gently grab one of your tails and bring it to her cheek, gently rubbing her cheek against the soft fur.
"Such fine fur you have, Jasmine," she says seductively.
After seeing this, Tellat finally speaks, but does not stand up.
"I am Tellat," she says. "I am from Onais."
Senythra's eyes go wide as she looks at Tellat.
"Seriously?!" she says. "An Onaisian survivor?!"
Tellat just nods.
Desta:
"Yes, a soldier, a slave, anything but dead!" the Professor implores.
Shi'ita:
"I kind of like Desta's idea," Zazigh says.
Selphie:
You smack your face into a bar, as your arm is not nearly long enough to stab the Professor when he against the other end of the cell. You drop your sword and are dazed.
Everyone except Jasmine:
The Professor jumps forward, grabs Selphie's fallen sword, and retreats back to the wall.
"Yes," he says. "If I must die, at least let me die fighting! I will not die like some defenseless animal! I am the Director of the White Coats, and I will die on my feet with a sword in my hands!"
"I think we should try Desta's idea," Zazigh says. "If he tries to run, we kill him. If we decide to use him a slave, we castrate him. To reduce his aggression. But I do like the idea of seeing him fight for his life."
Kashmir does not put his blade away, but nods.
"If the dragon will allow it, we can try it," he says. "Perhaps even the Director of the Black Cloaks will join us to see the final match. I have a feeling that the Director will like all of you, especially the cheetah and you, sir."
"Ah, thank you," Zazigh replies.

I had leaped out of the way when Selphie rushed over with her sword, knowing she would smack into the bars, but I was still baring my teeth and hissing when my ears perked up and heard Zazigh promote my idea...and then Kashmir too! I look over to the two with a bit of surprise and wide eyes as I sit down in a cat-like position and a smile comes to my face. Then i blush deeply the moment Kashmir mentions that his Director would probably like me. "Really...? Thank you so much for listening to me!" I exclaim, but remain seated before looking back to Selphie to make sure she wasn't going to try anything crazy.

I smile a bit when she comments about my fur, but my ears perk up when Tellat speaks up.
"What happened here anyways? It's almost like some demon blighted the land after it was conquered or something... well, at least that would be how the books would describe it..." I say.
"Say, you also seem to have a bit of a wild side... do you have a little more animal traits in you than what a first glance might suspect?" I add on.

"How clumsy of me, you can fight back now," I say sarcastically. "A good show for everyone! But I still want to have my name in the hat to see who gets to kill the old man!" I say cheerfully, and shake my head trying to regain all my senses. Then I turn to desu, smiling. "Don't bare your teeth to a dragon, lest you find yourself being a snack. Lucky for you I wasn't feeling hungry, and I was feeling kind," I state.
