Tsume chuckled at the reactions, "That is because I am of pure blood. The wolves you know are just animals, dumbed down and nothing like the beautiful race they once were." He didn't mind the hug, laying his head on Annabelle's shoulder in a sort of hug back. "But even then I am larger than most of even the pure bloods, but not by much." he looked at Martha and sighed, "you know you can look at me. You wanted to see the shift, but because you didn't act very knightly and had the ladies clean I did not allow it. However you can see my wolf if you wish." Nix looked at Kashi as if he were dense. "You-you really don't know, do you?" she was amazed, and shocked, and stood there for a long time before looking away. "Long, long ago, humans and faies and every manner of creature lived together on the planet. They lived in harmony, each helping the other with no need for laws or leaders for all were equal. There were no wars, no hatred or bloodshed. People lived longer then than they do now. It wasn't uncommon for people to live several hundreds of years, both those with magic and without. It seemed the peace and happiness would never end. However, there was born a man who decided that a leader was needed, someone to guide the people in case of emergency or disaster. He was wise with his words and the people began to believe them, agreeing with the man. They named him their leader and for many years, the peace continued. But the man grew greedy of the power he'd been given. As years went by, he began to change things, little by little. Small suggestions, occasional remarks, joking comments and the like. Slowly he planted into the brains of mankind that they were superior to those around them. This began the dark ages, the time of segregation and enslavement. Many races were hunted down and slaughtered down to the last child." Her voice was sad as she spoke, but she continued, "There were creatures with the abilities to shift forms, to become animals and to protect themselves they began to spend more and more time in their animal forms, hiding among their brethren. They began to forget their abilities, losing their minds and their powers. Within a few years they were no different from the animals with whom they had hidden." "Not all humans followed the man, there were those who saw him for what he was and stood against him. They were joined by those shifters who had retained their minds. Many years passed. The fighting was constant, the terror and bloodshed terrible. A rift was formed in the world. It separated the human's kingdom and those trying to restore the balance. A hundred years passed and something that had not happened before began to occur." "Though the people had been friendly and peaceful before, there was no crossing of the races. All married and bred within their own kind. This changed, there were children born of parents that were of different races. Many of the people now are offspring of those half breeds. Humans with powers, with magic have blood of another race inside them. Some of the children were born with animalistic features, like ears and tails. This too has been passed down their bloodlines. Many races had no choice but to breed with others in order to survive, so there are very few pure bloods left. Far too many races died out entirely." Nix looked up at Elliot, "a parent could not show any signs of mixed blood and yet all their children have animal traits or the abilities of their ancestors. You, Ipo, and Elliot are examples of this. Enough years have passed that there is no discrimination for mixed bloods, however the same isn't exactly true for pure bloods." she smiled, "this is the history of how and why Falia the first withdrew into the forest and created a nation of her own. She made a safe haven where all people could come and live in peace and harmony once more. Falia is as close to the original Earth as you can get and yet even that is like night and day compared to the way it was." she shrugged, "I didn't think you would know about the origins of Falia, but I thought everyone knew the story of Old Earth and the division of the races." Leo nodded, “only an hour, that’s all.” He walked with Elliot to the bedroom and shut the door behind them. “there is ink on your shirt,” he said softly, shaking his head. “back a day and already covered in ink.” He helped Elliot remove the shirt and put it to soak, trying to help whoever had to try and get the ink out. Just seeing the bed made him was to cry, he was so tired, but he’d already cried enough for one day. He took Elliot’s hand once again and pulled him down onto the soft surface. Almost as soon as their bodies had settled, he was curling up against Elliot, needing he man’s warmth. “goodnight.”

    "But you're still tall. It's uncanny." "It's awesome! You're prettier then a horse any day!" and stayed clinging to the wolf, looking at the sister that Tsume was addressing. "Come look come look! You know you want to! Even the scar on his chest is visible!" She let go and grabbed her helmet clad sister, dragging her to Tsume. "See? Isn't he so cool?" Annabelle didn't like the word 'cool' but Martha used it a lot. Through the visor of her helmet brown eyes stared at the large wolf. Just as cool as when he was human, and the scar was still there. "That's pretty cool." she murmured softly, nodding. "Know what?" he asked, ears perking somewhat at her voice. Kashi only needed to know what his profession taught him and he opened his mouth to say so, but Nix started to speak, servant closing his mouth to listen to the princess explain. He wasn't offended that she was teaching him this information, but Kashi never had an occupation that dealt with the past so he never had to learn it nor was it taught. In Kasp, his goal was the future, here in Nalenyr he prepared things for that day or ahead of time, the past was memories that for the most part, he dare not dwell in. "That is a lovely thought, a time with no war." there seemed to be nothing but war nowadays, revolts in the east, Reta, while allied with them, was already making a mile out of an inch, and there were other countries revolting, it was like pillars falling on one another, they reacted. It seemed to be the same way with history, one man grew greedy, and like pillars they fell one by one, on top of each other. Slavery, segregation, it seemed not to long ago Kashi had witnessed that as well. People are right, he thought. History repeats itself. But he barely knew how to read a sentence let alone a book. A simple document could take him a few hours, as shown when the king had required help when the princesses were asleep. He'd never been so embarrassed, crying and apologizing to both the king and Prime Minister. They learned he could read and write his name and tell numbers apart, but anything after that was guess work. The segregation and enslavement turned to hatred and fear, and they would soon regarded as threats and exterminated. Kashi had seen that too, so many innocents dying, women, children, the elderly. They made children escape while sending young men off to war, knowing they wouldn't return. But people adapted, they shifted and stayed that way, chunks of races were lost, went extinct because they never shifted back, going mad with animal instincts. But there were the smarter ones, ignoring the one with power, claiming their own rights and fighting. So much blood, so many wars had happened and had yet to happen, and then a stalemate. It happened everywhere, war hit such a state there was no point, and now it was don only because it had been done for so long. It was always during that time did people Mix. 'Why fight?' they would ask 'we have done nothing wrong' and relationships would form, children were made. It only made sense. he focused back down on her instead of the images he'd seen for far too long, smiling. That is an interesting history for Falia. You know quite a lot, Miss Nix." he said softly, kneeling down and stroking her hair. "I do ask, however, that..." he paused, looking down. "No, that is a selfish request. But I do not know much of anything, my head is filled with cotton and wood polish." he gave a small laugh, standing. "There is much I do not know, but I do not let it affect me. I am knowledgeable in my own way." and once again opened the door to the playroom, subtly saying that he was done with this conversation. Elliot looked at his room, taking note that with Leo in it, it felt warm and inviting, not at all like the cold and isolated room it felt to be last night. "That is all I ask, what?" and looked down at himself, giving a tired laugh and taking it off. "Always busy, it comes with the job." and watched him work to remove it before being led to the bed, and he eagerly followed, shoes abandoned and landing on the bed with a happy purr, a noise rarely heard, assuming Leo had even heard it. arms wrapped around the Falian, the much needed and much craved warmth being pulled close to the older prince. "Night." he murmured, no sooner then exhaling had he fallen asleep.

Tsume smiled at the girl and pushed his muzzle against her stomach, gently prodding her. "it doesn't suit a young knight to pout," he said softly before Looking at Emily square in the eye, "i'm tall enough that Lily and Nix used to ride me around when they were younger. full grown men could also, but the only adult i'll allow near is Lily." he winked at her before sitting down. he seemed even taller like this, with his back fully extended and his head held up high. "should i change back so we can see your cubs?" Nix smiled, "You may think you've nothing in your brain, Kashi, but it's not true. you're a very smart man, you just haven't given yourself a chance yet." she took his hand and pulled him down far enough to place a kiss on his cheek, standing on tip toe to do it, before heading into the play room. "let's go see them! you can see Tsume shift as many times as you want while he's here!" Leo was surprised by the pur, but before he could ask, the master was asleep. "Goodnight, my love." he whispered, leaning down to kiss the man's lips before curling against him and going to sleep as well. He slept like the dead, the deep, deep sleep of pure exhaustion, finally feeling safe and complete after so long of being alone and broken.

"You can't tell I'm pouting." Martha said, lifting her visor. "Can I ride you when we go see the cubs?" "No far, I wanted a ride!" "I'd do it to test his endurance. I'll walk." Emily murmured, lifting his bushy tail and measuring it with the measure stick she found. "Yep, still proportionate." she muttered, putting the stick back. "Do you mate as a human or a wolf?" "I don't want to hear about mating!" Martha yelled, backing away quickly and sliding her hands underneath her helmet. "First Elliot and Lily taught us about how babies were made, and then we learned how plants were made, I don't want to hear about animals!" and in her bout of yelling tripped over her toy soldiers and fell. "Oww." The hare was surprised when he was pulled down to be given a small pack on the cheek. "B-But I don't want to see... Mr... Tsume." once again he froze, looking at this tall hairy beast which was sitting in the playroom, the head just brushing his lower chest. "Th-That's a... s-strong... uh.. good posture?" fear was turbulent in his mind despite the minute amount of logic telling him it was Tsume, and if he was indeed Miss Lily's familiar he wouldn't harm him. But the wolf was still, so, big! Those jaws would be able to break his leg in a second!

"Careful now," Tsume said, moving to go and help Martha to her feet, very carefully biting the collar of her top and lifting her that way. he didn't tear the cloth, didn't even get it wet and smiled, "don't hurt yourself. you both can ride, but give me a second." he put his muzzle right next to Emily's ear and whispered, "both, depending on the mate." he nodded to her before walking to annabelle and martha, laying on his belly to make it easier. "right, climb on." he decided that ignoring Kashi would work best for the hare's fear. if he turned his attention on the other he had a feeling that Kashi just might wet himself Nix took Emily's hand and smiled, "let's walk together, ok?" Leo had told her that Emily was often left in the wake of her sisters and it was easy to see that this was true. but, with four of them it evened things out. she could focus on Emily and help make sure she wasn't left in the shadows of her sisters. Nix had a feeling that, given the chance, Emily would shine brightest of them all. "you have such a pretty dress, Emily! i love the needle work on it, are those the cubs?" she pointed to the border design. "All of you are wearing such pretty clothing! i hope my dress for the party tonight will look ok next to such beauty!"

 It sort of frightened Martha that the large wolf was able to pull her to her feet so easily. She looked at Annabelle before racing toward Tsume, however Annabelle was quick to sit close to his neck, smiling. "Princesses always sit toward the front. Princes and knights sit in the back to protect them." "Who'd protect you?" Martha asked, seating herself behind Annabelle. "You could easily protect yourself." but grabbed the fur as Tsume stood up. "This is nothing like riding a horse." "Horses have saddles, he only has neck fur." "Is it stretchy?" Martha asked, watching her sister grab it and gently pull. "Guess so." Emily smiled back and nodded. "Your sister made it for me. It must have taken a long time because of all the embroidery. it looks really complicated." But looked down and lifted that part of the dress which held the cubs. "Yep, this one's Floppy and that's Perky. You can tell them apart by their ears." "You shall look glorious!' Annabelle exclaimed. "Nothing less of exquisite!" "You'er using a lot of big words." Martha said. "The party is still hours away." "But aren't you excited! Dances, food, the common children of the town below! Oh I am giddy with all the good deeds I'm doing!" "You're giddy with all the attention you'll be receiving." the tomboy responded before looking. "where's Kashi?" annabelle turned, finding him walking out of the playroom and with coats. "Right there!" "The pen is outside, we really should put them on." Emily said, pausing and walking to Kashi to put on her coat. "Thank you." "You need to stay warm, we're expecting a blizzard soon. And winter just started, this will be terrible indeed. Hopefully it doesn't last long." "we can't have a blizzard! The party!" "It will be happening by next week, Annabelle." Kashi said, walking closer , trying to figure out how to get close to the other two girls without getting close to Tsume. But they did get their coats and were eventually led outside by Emily who smiled and let go of Nix's hand to hug the stranger. "Justin! You're bleeding again." He hugged her back, before nodding, face holding three new scratches. "i thought I'd try again, but I can't do it unless you're around." he sighed, looking at the large cubs who were beginning to lose their fluffy cuteness. "It's not fair, I don't like having to be around people to practice." "You'll get better." "Stop being cute!" Annabelle said, knocking them both upside the head before pushing them apart. "Cubs! Oh, you fed them." "I tried, but they wanted to play." Justin said, continuing to rub his face, looking and pausing at the wolf. "Emily did you get a wolf?! Oh, hi Mr. Kashi." The hare smiled. "And hello to you, Justin. THis is actually Mistress Lily's familiar, Mr. Tsume, and this girl right here is her younger sister, Miss Nix." Justin removed his hat and bowed. "It's very nice to meet you."

Tusme didn't mind the pulling, used to carrying Nix like this when she was a baby. she pulled and drooled something awful. Not that he'd ever tell her that now, at least not until she got a boyfriend. He waited for the girls to get their coats on before heading out, knowing Kashi was having a hard time and still ignoring him to make it a little easier. Nix looked at the boy, worried, but when it was introduced as Justin she smiled, "oh, don't bow. it's nice to meet you! i've heard a lot!" she patted him on the shoulder, smiling before moving to the pen. "you should have Lily took at the cuts. she can heal them right up for you. aww, look at them! they are so cute!" she held out her hand and Floppy coming over to rub against it. "heh, you're a funny guy aren't you? no i'm not a living back scratcher thank you very much!" she withdrew her hand and looked at Justin, "what were you practicing?" Tsume shifted to his human with both girls still on his back. he went from horizontal to vertical, but his arms moved back to catch them before they fell, creating a sort of bench for them to sit on. he knelt and put their feet on the ground before standing again, smiling, "nice to meet ya kid."

Kashi nearly ran forward to catch the girls as Tsume shifted, but the wolf did a good job at catching them himself and set them down. He couldn't be scary and ready to eat him if he took care of the girls, right? Right? "D-Don't you need a coat, Mr. Tsume?" he asked. The boy stared in shock as the wolf transformed, looking nearly as frightened as Kashi before calming down. "That's amazing." and turned his eyes to Nix. "I would, but I don't know where she is, and she's probably with the Prince like she always is, and I don't like disturbing them." he explained, Emily entering the pen to play with her cubs. "Justin here," Annabelle said, grabbing the boy's shoulders with a smile. "Has a super awesome ability! Don't you?" "Please let me go. Don't take off my scarf." The princess still liked to tease him with stripping, it wasn't something he was fond of despite knowing it was an empty threat. "annabelle." Kashi warned, the girl quickly letting go and going to play with the cubs. "Nix hurry up!" Martha didn't want to play with them, last time she entered she got bitten, it was a play bite and didn't draw blood, but her wrist fit in it's mouth so she was satisfied watching. Justin looked at them before back at Nix. "Um, it's called a Mirror abilitiy. Mom said they're rare, and I should have been born without one because of her and dad's abilities." Emily dragged out Floppy, who was the girl's height when on two legs. "A mirror ability is someone who can copy other people's abilities. Try now Justin. Just talk with your thoughts. He's been copying ours for about a week now. he's not very good at it." And held Floppy as he squirmed, Justin making eye contact with it, ignoring the paw hitting his face. Kashi smiled. "It's an incredbly rare ability in the mountains, since we don't really have abilitie worth noting. You'd normally find such amazing abilities further north or towards the east." he explained, giving a yelp as Perky made a dash for the hare, clawing at the hare's leg "Sorry!" Annabelle cried, her and Martha soon trying to get it off. "I don't know why he hates you." On the contrary, Perky liked kashi very much. The relationship, however, was one-sided.

Tsume glanced over when Kashi asked if he needed a coat, "i'm fine. you might not have noticed earlier, but i have a higher body temperature than most. i do well in cold climates." he went to stand near Martha, giving the hare space, but when the cub ran to the poor man he couldn't help but laugh a little. "he just wants to be friends." Nix listen to Justin and felt her eyes widen when she learned of his ability, "oh wow! even in Falia that is rare!" she grinned, "if you just started a week ago it makes sense you don't have much control right now. keep working at it, and you'll be a force to be reckoned with. maybe when you see sister later you can try and mirror her ability and heal yourself!" she winked at him before moving to pet Floppy. She looked over at Kashi's yelp and felt her eyes widened before she frowned and moved to help Martha and Annabelle. she didn't tug on Perky, that would only increase his instincts to cling. instead she moved to his front and bopped him on the nose hard enough to get his attention, but not so hard as to hurt him. "stop that." she said, putting her hands on her hips, "if you like him don't scare him."

Kashi's scream of pain weren't exactly being diluted as the children tried to tug of cat off, claiming he was going to be eaten alive and how the thing was a demon and Emily should have left it in the forest. "He's not a demon!" Emily exclaimed. "he just doesn't know how to play with people!" "Well you can't train it like a dog!" he cried back. "It's natural instincts are to hunt my kind and much more!" "Maybe if he didn't scream so loud." Martha said, recieving a giggle from Annabelle. Floppy, however, paused in shock as Nix spoke to him, understanding enough to release his claws from he skin. But as the girls yanked on the cougar cub, a loud rip echoed. "I'm sure you can fix it!" Justin said quickly as Kashi lost all color to his face. "You can always borrow your brother's pants!" "The hole isn't that's big." Emily lied. Floppy had ripped a good part of his pant leg off. "I'm sure we have fabric somewhere, it's just a small tear." and underneath that tear were red marks showing where claws had cut skin. "I'll go find Ipo." Justin said. "I'll be back. There's a servant's door that way which is the easiest route to get him inside." and ran that way quickly. Only Ipo could snap Kashi out of it, but justin knew those had been Kashi's last pair of pants. Hopefully Ipo had enough to share. The cub happily took his treasure to his brother who soon tried to take it. Emily ran quickly, frowning at them and snatching it from their loose jaws. "You have toys over there, play with those. This isn't yours." "I think he died." Annabelle said, watching as the hair slouched to the floor and poking his head. "Didn't they come here with those suits anyway? Mr. Kashi. hello?" and moved his head around. "I think so. They probably need new suits anyways. It's a weird fashion, apparently all servants in Kasp wear them. That's what Ipo told me." Martha said before looking at Tsume. "So what now?" Emily placed the fabric back on his leg. "There, see? Just sew it back up and it'll be as good as new. Poor dear. Mr. Kashi? Annabelle leave his head alone."

Tsume shook his head a little, "All this over a pair of pants." he muttered before going over to Kashi and moving behind where the hare had slumped. he gently knelt behind the man and slide his arms around Kashi, pulling him back against his chest in a soft hug. Nix shook her head a little, "it's fixable." she lifted up her skirt and turned it inside out. there, stuck in the fabric of her skirt, were several needles with various colors of thread. she picked out the black on and smiled, "i would always tear my clothes when i was playing so i learned how to sew them back up myself. makes it easier than getting scolded every time i come home." she winked at the girls before kneeling by Kashi and taking the torn off fabric. "it'll be good as new soon, promise." she checked the wounds and frowned a little, "They aren't bad. but i'll have sister look at them later." she began to reattach the ripped off part tot he pants, humming as she worked. "See, Kashi?" Tsume rumbled softly, "it'll be fine. just needs a little love is all." a wet nose snuffed along the ground, following a scent it knew. it wound around and around, a thick tail wagging furiously, making the rump shake among with it. he found the source and pushed on the door that stood in his way. it took a couple tries, but the door slowly opened, having not been closed all of the way. Ludwig pushed it open enough to slip through and entered the room, snuffling around, but not seeing the two leggers he was looking for. the smell was coming from the tall cliff and he snuffled along it before getting onto his hind legs and trying to jump on top. he couldn't reach, just bouncing off the edge and let out a small whine. he snuffled around the edges until he found the perfect tool. there was a suitcase on it's side and his tail wagged harder. he could jump on this! it was easy to go up to the top of the suitcase and from there to the bed. with a huff of triumph, Ludwig climbed across the soft surface and found the two leggers, but their eyes were closed. that wouldn't do. he climbed on top of the one with the ears of the enemy, standing on his chest and putting his puppy face directly in the others. "rrrrrrrrrrYIP!" he yelled, chewing out the two legger for sleeping when there were more important things to do. like pet him.

"See, that's smart." Martha pointed out, realization hitting her as her face grew bright. "Nix! You should teach me how to sew! This way brother won't get mad when I come home with my clothes ripped and torn! Now they'll only be dirty!" and watched her intently as she continued to sew. "You didn't want to learn how to sew before." Emily said, continuing to hold it as Nix sewed it back in place. "And your hand can't handle anything smaller then a pencil." "I can teach you how to sew. It's a talent needed if you intend to have a family, and Matilda said I was very good at it." "But these are my last pair." Kashi finally responded, regaining his wits slowly. "Those little demons tore my last pair to shreds, and Ipo took all of his clothes with him so I've been careful not to ruin them." he whined, ears lowering, they never seemed to be as raised as his twin's. "And I don't want to wear his clothes. They always smell funny. Like he did... stuff." Adult stuff, with adult smells, he didn't want to think what his brother did. At least he bathed, but his clothes always needed a wash. "I'm not curious at all what he does." Sniffing, a very faint sound, so faint he wouldn't have heard it had he not been having a dreamless sleep. The limp ear raised slightly, trying to focus through the thick fog of exhaustion on what it was. It started to lower, man shifting closer to the warm body next to him, mind falling away until a whine made both ears lightly twitch. A whine? No, he was dreaming, those damned cubs Emily brought. but you haven't been around them long enough to know their noise. the voice of logic whispered to his sleepy mind. And do cubs even whine? these thoughts were pushed away, mind drifting again, until something stepped on his pelvis. It didn't hurt, but it was an unknown weight and it was moving. He groaned, feeling the thing wobble as it stood on his chest, the prince considering moving to remove the thing that was waking him up. A sour smell hit his nose, the sleep quickly evaporating from his mind as the wet nose moved along his face before giving a loud yelp. "Ludwig," he grumbled, knowing that noise all to well. Silver eyes opened to look at the pup, a hand reaching to give the dog's face the attention it so craved. "We're trying to sleep. What do you want?" he mumbled, rolling the thing onto it's side and scratching its stomach.

Tsume watched the girl's work while he listened to Kashi, "if this is your last pair what happened to the others? did they get worn out or something? we could try to fix them up for you so you have more than the one." being able to materialize clothing had never been more appricated to the shifter. he didn't have to worry about getting new clothes. if he wanted something different he just imagined it and his fur changed into that when he shifted to his human form. Nix smiled, "an~d done." she cut the thread with her teeth before sitting back, "thank you for holding it Emily. look, Kashi. they're good and new, see?" you could only see the part she's reattached if you were looking for it, Nix had gotten very good at that sort of thing. "they aren't devils, they are like children. very strong children who don't know their own strength." Leo woke at the yip and opened his eyes, smiling a little as he saw Elliot scratching the happily wiggling puppy. "mmm, morning." he kissedElliot's cheek and rested his head on the prince's shoulder, "Ludwig, go find the girls." he sent the dog the desire to find them, but in return he felt the vexation in the pup that he couldn't. a big door that he couldn't open had been in the way and then he had been shooed by a two legger in a dark dress with white parts. Leo smiled a little at the puppy's discription of a maid, "seems the girls are outside or he'd be bugging them." he scratched Ludwig as well, making the tail wag even harder, "want me to try and make him go to sleep so we can too?"

"Well..." he thought a moment, Emily really loved her cubs, didn't she? "Y-Yea, they got rather worn out, I've been busy this past month getting things ready for their party, for the prince's return and I care for them." he muttered, knowing only Tsume would hear. To the triplets it would just sound like mumbling. "Just wore them out." he repeated. He stood on his own despite Tsume still keeping a grip on him. "Thank you very much, Miss Nix. You really can't tell it tore." he said, giving a faint smile at her. Emily let go, running her finger over where the stitches had been placed, hardly able to feel them. "Exactly. And I'm their mother and I'm taking care of them!" "But what about when they're older?" Annabelle asked, watching the cubs roll around, playing with each other. "You said older animals don't listen." "Don't get her hopes down." Martha said quickly. It was hardly there, but the tension between the triplets was still in existence, and the tomboy was quick to take Emily's side. "Since she raised them they're bound to listen, like we listen to Elliot!" The prince kissed the other prince's head, continuing to shower the puppy in sleepy affection. "Morning. Sleep well?" he certainly hadn't, he felt like he needed more. He just closed his eyes and the puppy woke him up. "Probably, there's a lot to show Nix." the dog's rump was shaking with each tail wag. "You think if he wags it hard enough he'll fall over?"

Tsume nodded a little, "it's understandable to want to hold onto something that has important meaning to you, but that doesn't mean you can go without pants. maybe Nix or Le-Lily," god he hated that name, "could help you make some new pants." Nix looked between the three and was sorely tempted to peek into their minds and find out what had happened to cause the tension she could feel coming from them. but instead she decided to break it up, "and the more she communicates with them the stronger her ability will become." she patted Emily's am before looking at Ipo and Tsume and then back to the girls. "we should head back in soon. don't know about you three, but i'd like to take a bath before i get ready for the party tonight. shall we head back in and see if our dear older siblings have made up first?" Leo nodded, "i slept very well, thank you." he closed his eyes for a moment, but at Elliot's question they opened again. "maybe, he's don it before." he laughed, watching Ludwig for signs of him toppling over. he didn't see any, the puppy had gotten better balance in the time since they had first gotten him. "he's grown," he said softly, stroking under Ludwig's chin. the pup had grown a little over an inch and had gained some weight. he was going to be huge by the time he became an adult
