Oh you mean in silent hill right? and yeah i did beat it i play every day for a bit >o<;; to tell you the truth it isnt that much scary when i was in the school and yeah im using my gun till i get the hammer..!! x.x;;; so i can beat asses BU and i will watch not to screw up like Vega in the hospital and get the map for it xDDD;

You can't get it until your second playthrough at least. The chainsaw and rock drill are both available at the same time in the next playthrough if you get the good plus ending first, however the second playthrough, you only get to choose between the Chainsaw and the rock drill under the bridge control center, you need to get another ending to unlock both gasolines in the gas station, you need the good and bad endings to unlock the katana in the dog house on levin st, and no, if Harry stopped drawing on the map, it would be like Shattered Memories, he is giving you clear hints on where you can and can't go, as well as where you have already gone when he writes on the map. BD

Then you are going to miss most of the endings, and you really don't want to explore everywhere if you know where to go, otherwise you won't be able to get a good rating.

There are five endings to this game, Good plus, good, UFO, Bad Plus, Bad

Good Plus ending unlocks the gasoline for both items and the channeling stone for the UFO ending.

Bad Ending unlocks one of the gasoline canisters for either the rock drill or the chainsaw.

UFO Ending unlocks the Hyper Blaster

Once you have beaten both Good plus, and the bad ending, you will also unlock the katana.

Once you have each weapon, there is one more challenge.

Your new fear mode should contain a hard difficulty rating

You should pick up each weapon, including the unlockable weapons, but never use an unlockable weapon in this gameplay run.

Never use the shotgun outside of killing the first boss.

You must beat this save file within two hours of playing.

You can only use one continue, and two saves.

You must have a good accuracy gun rating, and must equally kill enemies by melee weapon, and fire arm.

You need to do the good plus ending.

You should keep your running distance and walking distance as low as possible.

And lastly you need to find as many items as possible.

Doing this will upgrade the Hyper Blaster to kill in one hit on even the hardest enemies, and if not exactly one hit, very quickly.

Well I would hardly call getting to the end only to get the bad ending "Beating it." You won't like that ending. : D
