"Yes, I was wondering why you didn't show this to me earlier" William said and took the card. He began reading it. "I see" he said after giving it a look. He then opened up a desk drawer and put the card in after taking some note paper and writing the information down for himself. It was always good to have an extra copy.

"Yes... I'm sorry." She replied, looking at her hands. She then looked back at him wondering what he would say. She wished for some form of gratitude, but as she looked at him, she didn't think she would receive one. Instead, she slowly turned away from him to leave.

Eius nodded when his mistress spoke. "With Milady's leave, the blood will be collected tonight and served at sunrise tomorrow. The pipes are not yet finished, and though the hunt could still be performed now at Milady's command, there are wounds that have not yet healed."

((It has the name of the person who paid the mercenary to attack. Let's go with some human duke named Alex Verdi or something. lol. ))

((I see))
"Well I have to say it was with your help that I was able to find out who was behind the attack. I thank you for that. Now go back to work. I have affairs to do" William said to Victoria.

"Of course." Victoria replied. She gave a heavy sigh and turned to leave him be. She left the room, closing the door behind her and headed back to the room she was supposed to be working in. There, she saw the rags nearly finished with the floor. The little angel-elf sat down and took a deep breath.

One of the heads of the servants spotted Victoria. "Sitting down on the job" he accused in a tone signifying that he was not impressed.

"I'm concentrating." She replied, pointing at the rags cleaning the floor through her magic. "If you break my concentration, I might spill the bucket and it will be your fault." She replied with a smirk, though she was lying. She didn't need to concentrate, and the buckets wouldn't spill if she stopped the spell. She wasn't that stupid, but she knew the head of the servants probably was.

"Humph! If you make a mess I will inform the master, and I know he will be sure to punish you. So don't screw up!" the servant said, then left.

"Sure." She replied, rolling her eyes. Just as he left, the rags stopped moving. "Looks like they're done." She muttered and inspected the room. After a few touch ups, she swerved her finger, causing the rags to go back into the buckets and the buckets to fly in mid air. She grabbed the floating buckets with her hands and proceeded to carry them outside.

Aniana nodded quietly. "That's fine..." She answered softly, smiling as she watched him. He wasn't that bad. Not that bad at all.

Victoria dumped out the soapy water in the rose gardens while humming an old song. She turned her head and saw the window to the library where William was. Seeing the roses in full bloom, she set down the buckets for a moment and picked one of the plump roses. She flew up to the library window, and seeing William preoccupied, she left the rose on the window and flew back down. She then picked up her buckets, giggling, and went back inside to resume her chores.

William smelled a flowery scent and turned around. There was a rose on the window. He picked it up and then looked outside to see who was there. No one. He was puzzled now. He took the rose and placed it on his desk and went back to work.

Victoria went to return the buckets, then looked around for one of the heads of the servants to see if they had another job for her to do.
