Oh I forgot about them. They don't give you anything useful. So you mean I busted my butt collecting all those pokemon and all I get is a certificate? Note to self burn down this building.

lol honestly, i've never completed any pokedex in any pokemone game, though i have a game shark which will allow me to easily lol.
I have something like that. It let beat any oppent in one shot. So I beat the elite 4 and the champion with 2 pokemon and using only quick attack. They were like level thirty.

lol wow, so you cheated on the games like hard core then huh? even i trained to get my pokemon up to level to deal with the elite four and champion.
No I only did it once. Curouis. Every other time I trained. I spent most of the game training. Got tedouis but I did manage to beat gym leaders and hardly lose.

lol I'm sure we can all agree and identify with that feeling on here. ^_^

Hellsing....No wonder I'm lost in this conversation.

lol what? you don't like hellsing? Me and Matt have been chatting it up for the past couple of days on may different topics and subjects.

So, why is it that Wesker wears shades? there's a theory going around that says he wears perscription sunglasses, and that he actually needs corrective lenses, but that's just a theory...though that theory looks a little more believable with how his shades looked like in 5 I would say.

What are your theorys? I think it's just in dedication to the 80's especially the sunglasses at night song lol. there's a lot of 80's jokes floating around in the RE games.
I honestly believe it was a gag/hint directed to the original Wesker from PSOne.

A sort of gag that bad guys always try to be cool by wearing glasses and at the same time a hint that there's something about this guy...

hm, well they didn't really want to change up characters drastically with the remake, there was always something about them that resembled their originals from the first game, rebecca even wore a choker that resembled the head band she wore in the first.

I'm just wondering why it was that he had sunglasses on in the first place lol, but you do make a solid point there, with trying to make themselves look cool, but i feel there's something more to it lol. again with my theory about wearing sunglasses at night reference from that song lol.
I'm sure it was a superficial reason at first, much like the 80's bad boy that wore sunglasses in the least appropriate times.

That being said, the sunglasses took on a whole new meaning once they started covering the orange eyes. And for the record...I do not approve of Wesker's design in RE5, right down to his sunglasses. There's something to be said about the aviator shades he first sported.

lol again, tribute to the 80's, the classic badboy wearing the shades in inappropriate times lol.

actually, three of our conclusions lead to the 80's, mine with the tribute to sunglasses at night song, Fred's with trying to give something extra that made him look like he was hiding something, which conincides with what Matt said about stabbing people in the back lol, and then your's with the superficial badboy routine.

What was it you didn't like about RE5's look? I loved the RE5 look. ^_^

Oh...something else I just thought about, Wesker was able to alter the color of his eyes, if you pay attention to Darkside chronicles, when he removed his shades, his eyes were blue. and in 5, his eyes didn't change red until he got really angry, or ticked off. So with that calculated for, what would be his reason for wearing the shades?
I was pretty sure the blue eyes in Darkside Chronicles was a mistake from Capcom.

As to why I don't like it. It's too much Neo and leather. Wesker was always refined or functional as far as his attire was concerned. This was bad guy cliche.

I wonder what will happen if I don't chose an option for "live selection." Apperantly die.

Could be a mistake but I'm not sure what part your talking about.

What if Wesker was in a tux? "You know Chris I love killing people in a tuxedo. It makes one feel like James Bond." Oh I could imagine.

This? Your avi. I'd admit it might be. I'd have to see it in game graphics to be sure though.

I don't know if that was a mistake on capcom's behalf or not, they usually don't make mistakes like that, well not that big exactly. Though, you didn't see his eyes until 2002, so in the time form 98 to 2002, perhaps he had found some way to master his mutation to keep his eyes a natural color.

I was also a bit surprised when i saw Menella's eyes, and that they were also blue, also roots back to an 80's song by The Who i believe, Behind Blue eyes, like i said, there are a lot of 80's jokes in RE games, and the capcom directors over those projects said so I believe, such as Billy's tattoo saying 'Motherlove' which is also an 80's song by Queen lol.

But I did find out that pure blooded spaniards can have blond hair and blue eyes, I thought that was interesting.

I don't believe that his outfit was made out of Leather, I think it was Kevlar like Matt and I have talked about in the past lol. But I loved that suit though. Though I must say i much prefer the suit that Wesker wore in RE4, the suit, it's more natural.

I do think that his outfit in RE5 was pretty functional though, if it is indeed kevlar, he had layers of it to protect him from gunsots. But yeah, I can clearly see the bad guy cliche in it lol.

It was the special ending you had to unlock with Krauser's story in Darkside Chronicles that you see wesker and he lowers the binoculars and then you see a glimpse of his eyes, and then he puts his shades back on.

lol, I think wesker would rock a tux if he would wear one, i mean, he basically wore one in RE4 lol. ^^

I can see how it would look like Kevlar, but what would be the logic with him thinking he is a god?

Besides, the way he moves and fights is a clear homage to Neo moving in the Matrix movies.

Well, to be a god is to be unkillable, maybe that's what he was thinking, and that he had created some crazy viruses, I mean look at the uroboros, that thing is insane, so maybe it was a way of him to feel like he was master over it, that he was wanting to usher in a new world, and he'd play the god of it.

Compaired to the ammount of the uroboros...Can that thing even be called a virus, that he took in, to the little bit that everyone else was administered, and their horrific transformations, such as Irving, and Eccella, that he was indeed god over the uncontrollable mutations it should have done to himself, but he was still pretty much human-ish at the time of his transformation, maybe that's why he called himself a god?

Even god in human flesh, such as Jesus for instance, was subjected to pain and bodily harm, so maybe that's why he wore the kevlar so that he could avoid as little damage as he could so that his body would still be perfect...even though he had rapid regeneration abilities. I'm sure the pain was still a jerk to deal with lol, and he wanted to avoid it as much as possible.

All true, but Uroburos wasn't suppose to cause those oily monsters when it didn't reject someone (as it did with Excella, although Capcom never should what that true transformation would be).

I can definitely guarantee Jesus wasn't on the mind of anyone at Capcom.

What I think is that in RE5, since it was going to be the last installment in the continuity story of Resident Evil, that they wanted to go all out, so they didn't really explain well what Uroboros was in the first place, or what it was suppose to do, I don't think they put much thought into it honestly, just wanted something different and disturbing.

lol I don't know there's been a few christian references in other resident evil games before.

Interesting design, though I don't like it since these new characters are suppose to be in 1998, not 2008.
