Devon shrugged. "Probably for the same reason they didn't train us at all first before sending us out to fight shadows originally."

Kai laughed. "I don't know. Ask them." Kai pointed to a group of scientists. "But it'll be so full of big words and complex terms that you'll tune em out as soon as they open their mouths."

The area looked like a normal street with people and vendors all along the area. A big truck honked at them to move out of the way.
