Kyo's eyes began to tear. "No, somethings not right! It's in his eyes, his voice, the texture of his skin...the way he stares off into space and rubs the back of his head when he doesn't know what to do...it's all different...I feel like I'm betraying my feelings...and the Overseer. Maybe I'm just no good anymore..." Kyo hid his face in his hands and quietly sobbed.

Lorika frowned as the boy broke down into sobs, but reached forward and patted his head despite her discomfort.
"There, there, Kyo..." she soothed "We all love the Overseer. It has nothing to do with your feelings, or your value in life. He has changed. I think that's something we're all going to have to accept."

"I just...I just...I need to get out of this place..." Kyo stood up and slowly walked out of the room and downstairs to his own room and locked the door.

For a moment she contemplated if simply walking off without a word would be best in this situation. Seeing as the Professor wasn't too fond of her, what with everything that's transpired in the past few hours, she had a feeling he had no intention of answering back. Or if he did she was pretty sure he'd be irritable about it.
She sighed. Yes, that would probably be best.
"...I'll take that as a no." she said, lowering her head briefly as a silent proclamation of her departure, and stepped outside.
Only to wish to step back in upon realizing who was now standing in front of her.
Coline's stood still, as if suddenly turned to stone, as the drow ran his eye over her. She'd been expecting to run into him, yes, but... not so suddenly. What was she going to do? What was she not going to do? Her heartbeat hastened, she felt sweat starting to form. This was no good... The muscles in her feet started to move of their own accord, and--
"...Match?" Her eyes darted to the man slung over his shoulder. It took longer than usual, but the thought eventually registered into her head. "Ahah... we do." she answered meekly, an awkward grin plastered on her face. Then, gaining grasp over the gravity of the situation again, threw the Captain a determined look. "W-We have to get these two downstairs."
Whether it was the sense of urgency or the overwhelming wave of panic, she didn't know, but not a second longer Coline found herself making quick steps away.

So would you mind if I bared my soul? Jessie's heart had leapt as she smiled at him, only to sink again as she quite immediately darted past. Downstairs... this one wasn't bound for downstairs, no. Not where he could be a danger to others.
Dumping the man unceremoniously on the floor, just where he could be seen through the doorway, Jessie turned and sprinted up behind her.
"Hey-! Please," he implored, reaching out to gently lift the girl's burden from her. "Let me take that for you. I hope they haven't been using you as a cart horse..."
If I came right out and said 'You're beautiful'?
